I’m a caring, responsible and attentive dog sitter who genuinely enjoys getting to know each dog’s personality and routine. I’ve cared for dogs of different ages and personalities, including providing longer stays of over a week. I understand how important it is to keep dogs comfortable and settled when their owners are away, so I take the time to follow their usual routines, give them plenty of attention and make sure they feel safe and happy. I’m also very communicative with owners and provide regular updates and photos, so you can have peace of mind knowing your dog is in good hands. My previous clients have particularly appreciated my responsiveness, reliability and the care I take to make their dogs feel comfortable.

Elyse was just lovely and took wonderful care of our little dog during a 2 week vacation. She was tidy and sent us updates and photos to share how Daisy was doing. I would highly recommend Elyse as a very good house sitter and dog lover.

I cannot recommend Elyse more! She was amazing with my 4 year old poodle! She stayed with my dog for over a week. She sent me regular updates and it was reassuring to see how happy my dog was when I was away. There’s no question would will be looking after my dog again!

Schedule
I work a hybrid schedule, so I have flexibility during the week and am able to spend plenty of time with pets, particularly when house sitting. I’m happy to discuss your pet’s usual routine and make sure their walks, meals, playtime and rest fit naturally into my day. I’m also comfortable with longer stays and will always make sure your pet gets the attention and care they need while you’re away.

I take time to understand their personality, routines, likes and dislikes before you leave, and I follow your instructions carefully. I’m attentive to their behaviour and wellbeing and will always contact you if I have any concerns. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or staying with them in mine, I aim to create a calm, familiar environment where they can settle in comfortably. I’ll keep you updated throughout their stay with regular messages and photos, so you can relax knowing how they’re doing.
