I’m Orla - originally from Sydney, Australia, I work full time as a Data & Insights Manager for a Bank and spend my spare time hanging around the Islington area where I live, going for walks and exercising or enjoying all the pubs and restaurants of the area with my boyfriend. I have a genuine love for animals and lots of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I grew up with my Labrador, Macey, who’s been part of my life since I was 17 - and recently since living so far from home, I’ve been wanting to get more involved with animals and be around them again. I absolutely love animals and caring for them has always been second nature to me. I’ve regularly looked after pets for friends, including caring for my friend’s Cavalier King Charles Spaniel for a month at a time. I’m confident with daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, cuddles, and sticking closely to a pet’s usual schedule so they feel relaxed and secure. I’m calm, patient, and very attentive to animals’ needs and personalities - whether that’s an energetic dog who loves long walks or a cat who prefers quiet company and routine. I truly love all animals and take pride in treating every pet as if they were my own. If you’re looking for someone reliable, caring, and genuinely invested in your pet’s wellbeing, I’d love to help ❤️ I currently work full-time in a hybrid work environment - so I work out of my home in Islington 3 times per week and am in the office 2 times per week. I’m around on weekends and in the mornings and evenings. I don’t have any pets of my own at the moment, but if a pet owner wanted me to bring their pet to my house, I have a fenced yard and a private and extra large garden, so large it’s quite rare for London/the area. Depending on the pet’s usual routine, they would be allowed inside, although if staying over I’d keep the pet in another room and not on or in my bed given my partner wouldn’t be comfortable with it. If I was to house sit or stay over at the pet owners home, I’m happy to fit into any routine that is normal for the pet. For example - when taking care of my friend’s King Charles Cavalier, he was used to sleeping in the bed with the owner so of course I allowed that.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have plenty of hands-on experience caring for them, including the love of my life, Junie, my 4 year old Yorkie. I know every dog has their own personality, routine and needs, and I’m happy to adapt to whatever keeps them happiest - whether that’s long walks, playtime, enrichment, cuddles on the sofa or simply keeping them company. I work full-time however my role is a mixture of working from home and home and school visits, so no two days are the same. I have a good amount of flexibility in my schedule and can often plan my day around the dogs I’m caring for, allowing for toilet breaks, walks and plenty of company throughout the day. I’m available for house sitting during the week and at weekends, as well as evening and weekend dog walks, drop-in visits and dog sitting. When house sitting, I’ll do everything I can to maintain your dog’s usual routine so they feel settled and relaxed in their own home. I’m happy to administer medication (where straightforward), follow feeding schedules, reinforce any training you’re working on, and tailor walks and activities to your dog’s age, energy levels and personality. I’ll also treat your home with the utmost respect, keeping it tidy and secure while you’re away. You’ll receive regular updates and photos for peace of mind, and I’ll always communicate openly so you know your dog is happy, safe and in good hands.

She took him on lovely walks, did some training with him and taught him some new tricks.
