“Annie was an absolute delight! My wife and I moved to the UK last year and lost our network of cat sitters in the process. After a new friend had to cancel ahead of a trip to see family, Annie saved the day and provided us with an incredible sense of peace. Our boys are so important to us, and we rested easy knowing she was checking in on them daily. We’ll hire her again in a heartbeat! Thank you again, Annie!”

“Really kind and helpful sitter 🩷 Helped me out very last minute while I was away and kept me updated with pictures and messages throughout. Cali was very comfortable with her and she was so caring and understanding. Would definitely recommend, thank you again!”

“Jessica was amazing, super gentle and the best company for Bibi. Incredibly reliable, followed all feeding instructions perfectly, and sent me the best photo updates every day. I came home to a happy, relaxed cat and a spotless house. I highly recommend Jessica to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter!”

About: Hi! I’m Sai, a Hackney local working from home but also on the move locally, which makes me a natural fit for the dog who needs a proper walk rather than a quick lap around the block! I’m comfortable with bigger, high-energy breeds as well as smaller companions who just want gentle company — I spend plenty of time around a German Shepherd (my boyfriends dog based in Norway), so bouncy and strong doesn’t faze me. I also know how to make sure your pet is well taken care of: reliable timekeeping, clear updates, and plenty of photos so you always know how walks and stays go. When I’m not walking, I’m teaching yoga and stay active, so patience and energy aren’t in short supply. I’d love to become a familiar, friendly face in your dog’s week. Get in touch and let’s set up a meet! I’m currently working from home, and also job hunting so I am available during all weekdays and some weekends also. My diary is quite flexible at the moment, in time for summer holidays as I’ll be in London. I live in an open space 2-bed flat, and only 2 minutes from my very large garden, Hackney Downs park. My flat is warm, cosy and pet friendly and will make sure it is not too hot during the summer period with fans!
About: Hello! I’m Lucy, and I’m truly passionate about caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes. I’ve raised my own little terrier, Maya, from puppyhood through to senior years; I know just how much love, patience, and understanding this entails. I also volunteer with Underdog International, a fantastic dog charity in my spare time. Through this, and my own experience, I’ve cared for a wide range of dogs - young and old, anxious and outgoing, energetic and laid-back. I’m confident in all aspects of care, from walking and feeding to bathing, playtime and administering medication if needed. If your pet has specific needs, just let me know when you book as I’m always happy to accommodate. I currently work a four day week from home, Monday-Thursday alongside my partner Oli. We’re both civil servants with flexible schedules, so between us, your dog with have plenty of company and opportunities for walks and play! We live in a spacious two bed flat in Hackney Central, with no pets of our own and no children. There’s access to a large gated garden and we’re just an 8 minute walk from London Fields. The bottom line is that your dog’s wellbeing and safety is always my top priority. I provide a calm, supportive and secure environment and follow your instructions closely. I’m always happy to accommodate special routines, dietary needs or quirks to ensure your dog feels comfortable and safe.
“Lucia was very good with our two cats. We have specific requests for the time they must eat and she did everything well as requested by us. Communication was perfect, Lucia answers very quickly. The apt was very tidy when we came back, as if we hadn’t left. Our two maine coons were treated very well. I highly recommend Lucia.”

About: I’ve had cats and dogs since I was born, and in my adulthood have never lived without a pet. My senior dog, Oliver, recently passed away and I’m looking to put my pet-caring skills to good use. I work full-time in an office, so I am only available for pet care on the weekends and weekday evenings. I am happy to do drop-in’s on the weekdays and boarding on the weekdays. Reach out if you have questions and I’ll see if I can accommodate something outside of that range. I am happy to provide whatever the pet needs - whether it be trips to the park or cuddles and attention. I live near London Fields so am happy to take your dog there to expel some energy and have a good sniff. I live in a first floor flat, so just know that dogs with mobility issues will have to be okay with being carried upstairs.
“Caitlin is a wonderful cat sitter! She very kindly came round to meet us ahead of the sit and immediately made me feel comfortable about leaving Rudy in her care. She was very thorough and sent lots of photos and updates throughout the sit. We came back to a very happy and relaxed cat after our weekend away. Will definitely be rebooking in the future. Thank you ?”

About: I’ve always been great with dogs and naturally calm around them. Friends regularly trust me to look after their dogs, including longer sitting, feeding and walks around East London. I currently help care for my friend’s chihuahua, Queenie, who’s become my little sidekick, as well as my friend’s staffie, Pablo. I’m very attentive, patient and genuinely enjoy being around dogs and getting to know their personalities. I’m based in Hackney and already spend a lot of time walking through London Fields, Victoria Park and the surrounding areas, usually clocking between 10–20k steps a day, so dog walking fits very naturally into my routine. I’m 36 and currently writing my debut novel, so I spend a lot of time walking, thinking and being outdoors anyway. I understand how important trust and communication are when someone is caring for your dog, so I’ll always make sure owners feel updated, reassured and confident their dog is being well looked after. I work flexibly and spend a lot of time walking throughout East London already, so pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, feeding and sitting during weekdays and weekends, with flexibility for morning, daytime and evening care depending on availability. I enjoy long walks and outdoor time, so I’m happy tailoring walks to suit different dogs, whether they’re energetic and playful or prefer a slower, calmer pace. I’m attentive and very aware of how important trust is when caring for someone’s dog. I always make sure dogs feel safe, comfortable and settled, whether that’s during walks, home visits, or sitting in an owners home. I pay close attention to routines, feeding instructions, behaviour and anything specific owners would like me to be aware of. I’m respectful of peoples homes, keep communication clear and will always provide updates and photos where helpful for reassurance. I’m also mindful around other dogs, busy roads and environments, and I’ll always prioritise a dogs safety, comfort and wellbeing first.

About: I have many years of experience caring for dogs through looking after my own Whippet Collie cross, Basil, as well as regularly caring for my girlfriend's Whippet Malinois, Obi. Obi often stays at my house when he needs looking after, so I'm comfortable managing dogs in a home environment and maintaining their usual routines. Through caring for both dogs, I have experience with different sizes, energy levels, and temperaments. Obi weighs over 25 kg and is a strong, lazy but active dog who requires plenty of engagement, while Basil is around 12 kg. This has given me confidence handling both smaller and larger dogs on walks and in everyday care. While I haven't professionally walked a large number of dogs, I have spent a lot of time around dogs and enjoy their company. I am reliable, patient, attentive to their needs, and committed to ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while in my care. I'm currently on summer holiday from university meaning I have lots of time and no other commitments. I can give full attention and flexibility. The garden has a 6ft fence and I am close to multiple parks including Victoria Park, London Fields and Hackney Downs. I am able to show up almost any time of the day.
“Carlos was super communicative and available, and took really good care of Tokio and Rio whilst we were away. He made sure we were at ease by following all the instructions and sending loads of pictures! Will definitely book Carlos again if needed!”

“Mehak was great with Charlotte! She took great care of her, kept her topped off on food, water, and love while we were gone for the holidays. Was also kind enough to send along many photos and videos! Absolutely ideal, and I hope to work with her again.”

“Ancika and Oscar were really accommodating and stepped at short notice when I had a last minute need. They took time to understand Gus’ needs and asked all the right questions. Good communication and put me at ease. Would recommend.”

About: I have grown up with dogs and was responsible for walking and taking care of our family dog throughout high-school. I have also taken care of neighbours pets whilst they were on holiday. I love dogs and spending time out doors. I work remotely so am very flexible with when I can do visits/ walks. I work full-time from home so have a lot of flexibility to help out as needed for your pet! I like to go for walks before and after work to break up my days which I would love to have a companion on hence why I’ve signed up for Rover! I have a fenced patio at my home if full day sitting is required. It is large enough for a medium size dog to be happy.

Madiya was great at popping in and taking care of Monty. She would send updates twice a day (sharing photos and sweet videos as well!). It was also lovely meeting her in person, she was kind and attentive to our anxieties as we had only recently adopted our cat. We couldn't recommend her enough!!

Sarah was fantastic!! She really took good care of our cats and home while we were out of town. The kittens looked so happy in the videos and photos from Sarah. We really appreciated the regular updates, and would ask for her help again. Wonderful lady and sitter!

I honestly couldn't have asked for a better person to look after my cats while I was away. Anyone who knows me knows I'm a bit of an anxious cat mum, so leaving them for a week was stressful, but Gennaro made it so much easier. He kept me updated, sent plenty of photos. When I got home, both cats were happy, relaxed, it was such a relief knowing they were being looked after by someone kind, reliable, and patient.

I highly recommend Victoria to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate cat sitter. Victoria took wonderful care of my cat, Pumbaa, for two weeks while I was away. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly cared about his well-being. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me great peace of mind knowing he was happy and well looked after. Pumbaa can be a little particular, but Victoria was patient and caring, and I could tell he felt comfortable with her. I truly believe she made his days better with every visit. Thank you again Victoria for taking such great care of Pumbaa!

Jacob took excellent care of our cat Pablo! It’s clear that he loves cats. He often stayed longer than the 30min daily visit we paid for, which we really appreciated. He sent lots of videos, pics, and written updates too! We wouldn’t hesitate to use his services again in the future.

Ivana is amazing!! I am SUCH a worrier when it comes to my (slightly) anxious cat, and he took to Ivana immediately who has gone above and beyond. I got regular updates too which gave me peace of mind, and I got to relax on holiday knowing he was in safe hands. Thank you Ivana!

Lucy takes excellent care of our miniature schnauzer. She walks him once a week and shows him lots of love and attention which he loves! She is very reliable and a great communicator. Would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a new pal for their pooch.

Brenda did a great job looking after my cats while I was away. Very reliable and followed all the care guidance I gave. It was so lovely receiving videos and photos of them every day. They looked happy and healthy and they were immediately comfortable and confident around Brenda. It was a relief to know they were in good hands.
