I grew up around cats, birds and fish and always enjoyed the company of the animal companions around me. By now, I've looked after numerous pets, initially extending to family and family friends and over time extending out to the wider community (UK and Europe), where I have been able to enjoy helping many more people with their pet care needs while they are away. It’s something I had wanted to do for quite some time, so I've really enjoyed finally taking it on! Aside from pet care, life for me is about exploring and experiencing more of what this world has going for it. I enjoy my solitude, and when I'm not working, I spend my time learning and/or practicing a random variety of things. Languages tends to be my focus most recently, along with building up endurance for ever longer walks and bike outings. I'm also working on trying to read more books.

“Lucia was very good with our two cats. We have specific requests for the time they must eat and she did everything well as requested by us. Communication was perfect, Lucia answers very quickly. The apt was very tidy when we came back, as if we hadn’t left. Our two maine coons were treated very well. I highly recommend Lucia.”

“Our kitties love Susie! Susie came for home visits twice a day for about a week to care for our two 6-month old kittens while we were away on holidays over Easter. It was the first time we were leaving them alone and so were a bit nervous. We came back to find our cats calm and happy - and they clearly loved Susie! Susie sent ample photos documenting each visit, played with them, cleaned and refreshed their food and cleaned the litter box. Thanks to Susie's meticulous care, the flat was also in really nice shape when we came back despite our kittens' ability for destruction!
