About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was 10 years old and was always involved in their daily care and routines from a very young age. Growing up around them helped me naturally understand dog behaviour, and how important consistency and affection are for them. A huge part of my childhood was growing up with two Dobermans and Great Danes, so I’ve always been around large dogs with strong personalities and lots of energy. They shaped me massively growing up and taught me responsibility, patience and confidence around dogs from an early age. Two years ago I got my own dachshund, Chef, who completely changed my life and made me feel even more connected to dogs. Having my own dog has given me much more hands on experience and helped me understand how much trust owners place in the person caring for their pet. Chef is my family, and I would treat any dog in my care with the same level of love and attention as I do with him. It’s also been lovely experiencing both sides of dog ownership, from growing up with big breeds to now having a smaller dog with his own funny personality. Over the last decade, living in different countries also gave me opportunities to do pet sitting and spend time caring for different dogs. I currently work in a hybrid role, which gives me flexibility for pet sitting during the week and weekends. I’m used to daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, supervision and making sure dogs feel happy and well looked after while their owners are away. Creating a calm and safe environment for pets is very important to me. I always make sure dogs have fresh water, regular toilet breaks, exercise, attention and plenty of supervision. Having my own dachshund has taught me a lot about understanding dog behaviour, body language and routines. I would always treat someone else’s pet with the same level of care and patience as I do with my own dog.

“Gabriel was an absolutely fantastic catsitter for us! Im disappointed we didn't find him sooner as he really has been a phenomenal help. It was clear as soon as he came to meet the our boys that he understands the needs of cats and how to approach them (gently, slowly and with patience). He was consistent and conscientious, checking in and out of each visit using the app every day and providing twice daily photo and video updates. He cared for our cats so well and was so respectful throughout, I cannot recommend Gabriel more!!”

About: I am a lover of dogs in all shapes and sizes, and would love to have some furry friends to keep me company while I work or walk around Islington. I have always had family dogs, and had two dogs of my own until last year. I am a professional woman that works full time from home for a big tech company. I live in a 2nd floor apartment so if your pup has an issue with their knees it might not be the right fit. I am comfortable with young pups, older ladies and gents who need a bit of extra care and anyone in between. My own dog also had puppies in 2021, so I know how to care for the really little ones as well or pregnant dogs. I have not worked for a service like this before, but I have always cared for my own dogs and often dog sat for friends and family's pets. The dogs in my pics are a mix of my faves - the black and white pup is my mum's dog Turkish, and the others are little ones I've looked after or hung out with. I work full time from home, and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I work from 9-5, and work in the living room where there is a sofa for dogs to curl up on and plenty of room for us to play. Best availability is Monday to Friday, but can have some availability over the weekends depending on travel plans. The apartment is on the 2nd floor, I have hardwood floors throughout the apartment and a sofa that is pet friendly. There are no other pets in this building. I live round the corner from a square with a park in it and a 10 min walk from the apartment is Highbury Fields (a lovely big park to walk around).

About: As a dog owner for the past 2.5 years, I understand the daily needs, routines and little quirks that come with caring for a happy dog! My ground floor flat is pet friendly and I have a walled garden where your can dog can play and go to the toilet. I have toys and a bed for your dog and will take them for a lunchtime walk as standard! Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I work Monday to Friday but have a very flexible schedule, which means I can easily accommodate regular playtime and a lunchtime walk as standard. My workdays are generally relaxed with few meetings, so dogs are never left without attention and can settle comfortably alongside me. I’m always happy to adapt my day around a dog’s usual routine to make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for. I care for pets in a calm, safe, and flexible way, always adapting to each dog’s individual needs and routines. I only ever care for my own dog and one other dog at a time, ensuring plenty of attention, supervision, and a relaxed environment. At home, I have a secure, fully walled garden, which is ideal for safe outdoor time and gives dogs space to play and explore with peace of mind. I also have a crate available for dogs who are used to crate time and find it comforting. My 2.5-year-old corgi, Peaches, is friendly and playful and can be great company for visiting dogs, but I’m equally happy to keep dogs separate if preferred. The layout of my home makes this easy, with a large living room separate from the kitchen, utility, and outdoor space, allowing me to stay with your dog while managing space and interactions thoughtfully.
