About: I’ve been dog sitting for five year, I absolutely love dogs and signed up for Rover just because I love hanging out with dogs. I’ve volunteered at dog shelters in fiji and have raised a dog of my own who has sadly passed away. Since I’m currently a student I’m unable to adopt a dog and give them the time they deserve so I figured dog sitting is the best option for me. Very flexible in terms of time! I also have experience with dogs that have had disabilities and very strict care regimens due to old age so I’m prepared for almost anything I’m currently a student (starting September) but other than that I’m usually home and free to take care of your dog and usually don’t go out. No matter how strict of a core regimen your dog has, I promise to follow it to a T, I’ll do whatever is needed to make your baby happy and comfortable with me. I do live in a flat however there’s a beautiful garden for dogs to play in if you need me to bring them to my place for the day.

About: I’ve been looking after dogs for family and friends since I was around 14, including walking, feeding, bathing, and playing! Happy to care for dogs of any age and breed, though I do have more experience with smaller pups! I’m currently a student and my classes are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:30am-15:30pm, meaning I have plenty of time to spend with your pup! Other than that I work online so am able to offer flexibility when it comes to desired hours and days. I will have the utmost respect for your home and leave it exactly how I entered it and am happy to respect whatever house rules you have for your pup!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was 10 years old and was always involved in their daily care and routines from a very young age. Growing up around them helped me naturally understand dog behaviour, and how important consistency and affection are for them. A huge part of my childhood was growing up with two Dobermans and Great Danes, so I’ve always been around large dogs with strong personalities and lots of energy. They shaped me massively growing up and taught me responsibility, patience and confidence around dogs from an early age. Two years ago I got my own dachshund, Chef, who completely changed my life and made me feel even more connected to dogs. Having my own dog has given me much more hands on experience and helped me understand how much trust owners place in the person caring for their pet. Chef is my family, and I would treat any dog in my care with the same level of love and attention as I do with him. It’s also been lovely experiencing both sides of dog ownership, from growing up with big breeds to now having a smaller dog with his own funny personality. Over the last decade, living in different countries also gave me opportunities to do pet sitting and spend time caring for different dogs. I currently work in a hybrid role, which gives me flexibility for pet sitting during the week and weekends. About: I have been surrounded by dogs since the day I was born, they have always been part of my family. I have three of my own, a Jack Russell, a Basset Fauve de Bretagne and a Labrador, plus my family's dogs, with up to 8 dogs in the house at once during the holiday periods, so I am very comfortable with dogs of every size, breed and personality. I love playing with dogs just as much as caring for them, whether it is a proper game of fetch or hide and seek around the house, since my dogs always loved that. Honestly, if you find me at a party, a pub or any public space, chances are I have gone missing and ended up curled up somewhere befriending whatever dog is around, my friends know it is a losing battle at this point and just leave me to it. I have always been the one to walk my family's dogs, train them and teach them new tricks, and over the years I have gotten quite good at reading dog behaviour. One of my own dogs had a tendency to be reactive, so I know how to spot the early signs, manage the situation calmly and avoid unnecessary interactions when out and about. I also have experience caring for senior dogs. My beloved Jack Russell, Diego, sadly passed away recently at 16, and in his final years he needed extra care and patience that I was glad to give him. I moved to London for my studies and I miss my dogs terribly, so getting the chance to dog sit here would genuinely make my day, not feel like a job at all. I currently study from home, so I have a flexible schedule most days and plenty of time to give your pup proper attention. I am not set up for overnight stays at the moment, but I am very happy to offer doggy day care, walks, and drop in visits to check on your dog at your own home, whether that is a quick visit to feed and play or a longer stay throughout the day. Since I am rarely tied to a strict timetable, I can easily fit walks and playtime around my study sessions, so your dog would never be left waiting around. I live in a flat with flatmates and we have a small ground floor garden, tiled rather than grass, so your dog will still have some safe outdoor space to relax in during the day. Indoors, I keep things calm and comfortable, with fresh water always available and a cosy spot to settle in while I am looking after them. If I am visiting your dog at your own home instead, I follow your routine closely and make sure they have everything they need, food, water, walks and company, exactly as you would want. I treat every dog as if they were my own, so you can expect the same attention, patience and affection I gave my own dogs growing up.
