“Elsa is a dog lover to her core! Our dog, Juno, was recovering from a knee operation and was also experiencing a lot of anxiety at the time. So naturally, we were worried about finding someone who could look after her to the same standard that we did. However, we truly met our match in Elsa! Elsa has experience with owning a dog that had lots of needs, including knee surgeries, so we knew Juno was being left in great hands! We met up the day before so Juno and Elsa could meet before her stay. Elsa has a really calm and warm energy, which, for our anxious dog, was perfect. After that first meetup, we felt at ease with the idea of leaving Juno in her care. Throughout the boarding, we were updated with photos, videos and messages. Juno was given medication, taken on her restricted walks and even got to sleep in the bed! When we went to collect her the following day, we could see that absolutely every treat and toy had been enjoyed. Success!! We highly recommend Elsa!! Whether your pet is healthy, recovering or living with ailments, Elsa would take wonderful care of them. This app is full of dog lovers, but there is a big difference between someone who wants to hang out with a dog and someone who is happy to take over the responsibility of caring for a poorly dog. About: We’ve had pets all our lives. We moved to London 3 years ago and really miss having a dog running around. Unfortunately we can’t commit to owning our own dog just yet but love looking after other people’s furry friends! We have hybrid work schedules between working from home and our office days. Mostly office based two days a week but depends on the week!! We have a small fenced garden which will be accessible. We are available for dog walks before/after work and at lunchtime! About: I am a dedicated and experienced cat sitter based in Islington. I have been cat-sitting regularly since 2022 and have grown up around animals, caring for both dogs and cats. What to expect from each visit: • Morning visits between 6:00 and 11:00 • Afternoon visits between 16:00 and 20:00 • Each visit lasts around 30 minutes I am happy to be flexible with times and can guarantee specific time slots if your cat needs medication or routine care at set times. During each visit I will: • Feed your cat and refresh their water • Clean the litter tray • Spend time playing, cuddling or simply keeping them company, depending on their personality and mood • Administer medication if required Play and enrichment are an important part of my visits. I know that for indoor cats especially, playtime provides valuable physical exercise and mental stimulation. I always make an effort to figure out each cat's favourite toys and style of play – whether that's chasing a wand, hunting a toy mouse or something completely unexpected! My aim is to give them a chance to properly engage, move around and burn off some energy, rather than my visit being just about food and litter. Of course, every cat is different and I always let them set the pace. Some want to play for most of the visit, some would much rather have cuddles, while shyer cats may simply appreciate calm company and time to become comfortable with me. I adapt each visit to what makes your cat happiest. After every visit I will send you a short update with a photo, so you can relax knowing your cat is safe, happy and well. I offer a free, no-obligation meet & greet in your home so we can meet, go through your cat’s routine and make sure I’m the right fit for you and your cat. If keys aren’t handed over during this initial meeting, I kindly ask that they are either dropped off at my home, or I can arrange an additional collection from you at my usual visit rate.

About: My partner and I are both massive dog lovers, and have a dog-friendly Golden Retriever & Bernese Mountain dog mix, who would love the opportunity to play with other pups during boarding or daycare! In addition to our dog Koda, we regularly dog-sit other dogs in our area including a local golden retriever and our dogs girlfriend, a very active doodle. In addition, I have spent most of my life doing animal rescue back in the US, where I have worked with countless dogs of different breeds, ages, and needs. Growing up, my parents were always fostering puppies and dogs in addition to our own 4 large, family dogs. I also independently fostered a variety of dogs since I was 18 - ranging from small puppies to large, rambunctious huskies - up until I adopted my dog, Koda. My mom (who is one of the leaders of the animal rescue I worked with), worked closely with vets over the course of my life, giving me a lot of knowledge about dogs medical needs. In addition, we also worked very closely with a variety of trainers, and one of our rescue's trainers taught me many skills and lessons over the years I was fostering and when I adopted my dog. Both my partner and I work from home and have extremely flexible schedules. I work part time and do independent research part time for my PhD, and he has his own business and also studies part time - meaning we both chose our schedules. This means we are able to prioritise our dogs needs, and pet care. We would of course do the same with any dog that we are boarding or hosting for daycare. I will take care of the dogs by walking them, making sure they have food and water, and petting/playing with them. I am also happy to discuss any requirements that the owners have. It is also mandatory that I can only watch dogs that are dog friendly and neutered if male, as I have a dog myself who will be there when hosting pups.

About: I am a lover of dogs in all shapes and sizes, and would love to have some furry friends to keep me company while I work or walk around Islington. I have always had family dogs, and had two dogs of my own until last year. I am a professional woman that works full time from home for a big tech company. I live in a 2nd floor apartment so if your pup has an issue with their knees it might not be the right fit. I am comfortable with young pups, older ladies and gents who need a bit of extra care and anyone in between. My own dog also had puppies in 2021, so I know how to care for the really little ones as well or pregnant dogs. I have not worked for a service like this before, but I have always cared for my own dogs and often dog sat for friends and family's pets. The dogs in my pics are a mix of my faves - the black and white pup is my mum's dog Turkish, and the others are little ones I've looked after or hung out with. I work full time from home, and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I work from 9-5, and work in the living room where there is a sofa for dogs to curl up on and plenty of room for us to play. Best availability is Monday to Friday, but can have some availability over the weekends depending on travel plans. The apartment is on the 2nd floor, I have hardwood floors throughout the apartment and a sofa that is pet friendly. There are no other pets in this building. I live round the corner from a square with a park in it and a 10 min walk from the apartment is Highbury Fields (a lovely big park to walk around).

About: I have been surrounded by dogs since the day I was born, they have always been part of my family. I have three of my own, a Jack Russell, a Basset Fauve de Bretagne and a Labrador, plus my family's dogs, with up to 8 dogs in the house at once during the holiday periods, so I am very comfortable with dogs of every size, breed and personality. I love playing with dogs just as much as caring for them, whether it is a proper game of fetch or hide and seek around the house, since my dogs always loved that. Honestly, if you find me at a party, a pub or any public space, chances are I have gone missing and ended up curled up somewhere befriending whatever dog is around, my friends know it is a losing battle at this point and just leave me to it. I have always been the one to walk my family's dogs, train them and teach them new tricks, and over the years I have gotten quite good at reading dog behaviour. One of my own dogs had a tendency to be reactive, so I know how to spot the early signs, manage the situation calmly and avoid unnecessary interactions when out and about. I also have experience caring for senior dogs. My beloved Jack Russell, Diego, sadly passed away recently at 16, and in his final years he needed extra care and patience that I was glad to give him. I moved to London for my studies and I miss my dogs terribly, so getting the chance to dog sit here would genuinely make my day, not feel like a job at all. I currently study from home, so I have a flexible schedule most days and plenty of time to give your pup proper attention. I am not set up for overnight stays at the moment, but I am very happy to offer doggy day care, walks, and drop in visits to check on your dog at your own home, whether that is a quick visit to feed and play or a longer stay throughout the day. Since I am rarely tied to a strict timetable, I can easily fit walks and playtime around my study sessions, so your dog would never be left waiting around. I live in a flat with flatmates and we have a small ground floor garden, tiled rather than grass, so your dog will still have some safe outdoor space to relax in during the day. Indoors, I keep things calm and comfortable, with fresh water always available and a cosy spot to settle in while I am looking after them. If I am visiting your dog at your own home instead, I follow your routine closely and make sure they have everything they need, food, water, walks and company, exactly as you would want. I treat every dog as if they were my own, so you can expect the same attention, patience and affection I gave my own dogs growing up.

“Elsa is a dog lover to her core! Our dog, Juno, was recovering from a knee operation and was also experiencing a lot of anxiety at the time. So naturally, we were worried about finding someone who could look after her to the same standard that we did. However, we truly met our match in Elsa! Elsa has experience with owning a dog that had lots of needs, including knee surgeries, so we knew Juno was being left in great hands! We met up the day before so Juno and Elsa could meet before her stay. Elsa has a really calm and warm energy, which, for our anxious dog, was perfect. After that first meetup, we felt at ease with the idea of leaving Juno in her care. Throughout the boarding, we were updated with photos, videos and messages. Juno was given medication, taken on her restricted walks and even got to sleep in the bed! When we went to collect her the following day, we could see that absolutely every treat and toy had been enjoyed. Success!! We highly recommend Elsa!! Whether your pet is healthy, recovering or living with ailments, Elsa would take wonderful care of them. This app is full of dog lovers, but there is a big difference between someone who wants to hang out with a dog and someone who is happy to take over the responsibility of caring for a poorly dog. Which is why I will end this with how I started, Elsa is a dog lover to her core!”

About: We’ve had pets all our lives. We moved to London 3 years ago and really miss having a dog running around. Unfortunately we can’t commit to owning our own dog just yet but love looking after other people’s furry friends! We have hybrid work schedules between working from home and our office days. Mostly office based two days a week but depends on the week!! We have a small fenced garden which will be accessible. We are available for dog walks before/after work and at lunchtime! About: I moved here from Turkey, I have three cats back in Turkey that I take care of, and I also rescue and help stray dogs in Turkey, also fostering them im my home when needed. I work from home on Mondays & Thursdays, I am usually home on the weekends as well! I really want to spend time with the pets. I live in a flat which is not so big but not small, its just enough space for pets. I also live with my brother who also loves animals and would be able to take care of them when I may not be home.

He was professional, friendly, organised, and always very attentive to Joca’s needs. One thing that really stood out to me was how much effort he made to connect with Joca. He even learned a few words in Portuguese to communicate with him better, which I thought was such a thoughtful and lovely gesture.
