I am a civil servant working from home with plenty of spare time to take care of your loved ones! I am an ex-police staff member with an active enhanced DBS and SC Security Clearance. I have been a cat owner for 25 years, I currently take care of 11-year-old Mia - a cute domestic short-haired cat. I have successfully taken care of friends' and clients' cats on many occasions. I am happy to cover all aspects of cat care. This includes feeding, changing the water, cleaning the bowls and litter, giving treats, playtime, grooming, and administering medication if necessary. I can also help with special diets and provide transportation to the veterinarian if needed. I understand that some cats are not open to new people so giving them space and not forcing anything is crucial. I will keep you updated with daily messages, pictures, and videos as I know how important that is for cat owners. I am drawn to the job because of my deep affection for pets and the joy I derive from caring for them. I am available mornings, afternoons, and evenings and will stay for 30 minutes each visit. I will also be able to bring in the mail, water plants, adjust blinds or curtains, and perform other basic household tasks to give the appearance that someone is home. While pet-sitting at your place I will: * Stay for 24 hours and make sure all doors and windows are securely locked. * Keep outdoor areas well-lit during the night to deter potential intruders. * If available, use security cameras to monitor both indoor and outdoor areas. * Set timers on indoor lights to give the appearance that someone is home during the evenings. * Store valuables such as jewelry, electronics, and important documents in a secure location, such as a safe or locked cabinet. * Have a list of emergency contacts readily available, including the homeowners, local authorities, and a nearby friend or family member who can assist in case of an emergency. * Ensure all pet doors are secure and that the pet cannot accidentally escape. * Check-in with you periodically to update you on the status of the house and pet. * Have a plan in place for various emergencies, such as fires, medical emergencies, or break-ins.

He consistently ensured that Muffolo felt comfortable and secure in his presence. In addition to providing excellent care for Muffolo, Arthur also kept us regularly updated with photographs and videos of our beloved pet. This thoughtful gesture allowed us to feel connected to Muffolo while we were away. Furthermore, Arthur went above and beyond his duties by watering our plants and collecting a parcels from our neighbors. - CatsArtur can host up to 3 drop-ins per day
- Specify if the cat has any dietary restrictions, food allergies, or special feeding instructions. Provide details if the cat requires medication, including dosage, frequency, and any special instructions for administering it. Inform me of any ongoing health issues or medical conditions the cat may have. Mention any behavioural quirks, fears, or anxieties the cat may have, along with strategies for managing or comforting them. Share information about the cat's favourite toys, games, or activities that help keep them entertained and happy. Provide details about the cat's grooming routine, including brushing preferences and any specific grooming products to use. Inform me of any environmental preferences the cat has, such as preferred sleeping spots or hiding places. Provide contact information for the cat's veterinarian, as well as any other emergency contacts I may need to reach in case of an emergency. Communicate any specific house rules or guidelines for caring for the cat, such as indoor/outdoor restrictions.
