Trusted Sitter | Large Garden
I’ve been on Rover for the past 3 years and absolutely love caring for animals. I’ve recently moved in with my partner, who also loves animals, and we’re lucky to have a big garden - a perfect space for your furry friend to relax and play. My beautiful golden retriever passed away a few years ago, and I miss her dearly. While I’m not in a position to have my own pet right now, it’s really special to spend my time looking after yours. I grew up with three golden retrievers and have also cared for my brother’s Australian Shepherd and my cousin’s Great Dane. During my time as a nanny in Luxembourg, I trained two chihuahua puppies, so I’m confident with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Since moving to London five years ago, I’ve really missed being around animals, and I truly value the joy and calm they bring. I’d love to give your pet plenty of care, attention, and affection while you’re away.

Luigi had a great day with Sophie. She is quick to respond to messages, followed all my instructions and sent lots of cute photos of him throughout the day so I knew he was relaxed and having a lovely time.
Sophie looked after Scrabble for the first time yesterday and did a brilliant job. She sent regular updates throughout the day, photos and little notes on how he was doing, which made the whole experience feel really reassuring. Scrabble was clearly happy and well cared for. Scrabble and I highly recommend Sophie!

Sophie did an amazing job looking after my puppy, Giuseppe. He settled in very quickly and I can tell he had a lovey time - Sophie also had excellent communication with me throughout his stay. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter.

Schedule
Right now, as I am between jobs, I have plenty of flexibility in my schedule, so I can easily fit pet care into my daily routine. I enjoy starting the day with a walk, and I make time for play, training, and lots of cuddles throughout the day. I treat pet care as a priority — whether that means sticking to feeding schedules, or keeping to your dog’s walking routine. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely love, so it naturally fits into my week.

I have a really good understanding of dogs, having been brought up with them my whole life. I would always want to make them feel safe and secure. I love how every animal has a different personality, please tell me about their little personality!
A typical day
I want to make walks and play time as fun as possible! It’s so important to stimulate dogs and encourage their learning and development. From throwing a ball, playing tug of war and practising with (owner approved) treats! I love exploring new areas.
