I'm Becki and I adore all animals. I dont believe there is anything such as a bad animal, just one that needs more support and understanding. I have extensive, hands on experience with a wide range of dogs and cats, including anxious, reactive, elderly, and medically complex pets. I previously cared for my own dog, who required significant medical support, including administering subcutaneous fluid injections. This experience has made me calm, confident, patient, and highly attentive to animals with additional care needs. I am very experienced with separation anxiety, senior pets, and animals who need extra reassurance and understanding. Over the past six to seven years, I’ve intentionally studied and applied cat and dog body language, which allows me to recognise signs of stress, discomfort, and happiness and adjust my approach to help animals feel safe and secure with me. I’ve had dogs all my life and have been walking and caring for them since I was very young. I have cared for many different breeds, including Beagles, Terriers, Labradors, and Greyhounds. I have also owned and fostered several cats, including caring for cats with young kittens. I genuinely love connecting with animals and tend to make friends with them wherever I go. I am kind, clear, patient, and consistent in my approach, and I always prioritise building trust with an animal before providing care wherever possible. I’ve looked after many cats and dogs over the years, each with their own unique personalities and needs, and I adapt easily to provide them with the best possible care.

Becki was an absolute saviour after our original cat sitter cancelled the day before a 10 day holiday! We received continuous updates and videos/photos. Percy had definitely made a new friend! Thank you again Becki, will be sure to book you in next time :)
Becki looked after my cats with drop-in visits for five days while I was away and I couldn’t be happier. She’s a genuinely lovely person, so caring and clearly an animal lover. She was incredibly patient with my cats, which meant even my shy, anxious one felt comfortable around her and was happy to eat in her presence. I would absolutely use Becki again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to other pet parents.🥰
Becki took such great care of Effy, it was immediately obvious she loves dogs and they seemed to bond very quickly. We had great updates throughout the day, would not hessitate to book again!

Becki was great with Roku during our 10 day holiday. We threw some curveballs with friends staying in our flat at short notice - and Becki took this in her stride and continued to offer great care & attention to all of Roku’s needs. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Dates de la garde
I work from home tuesday to thursday so I'm flexible. And don't work on Fridays. I'm often free on the weekends. Most weekends i will have at least one cat to be popping in on. I have a two bed flat that I share with my husband with carpet runners for dogs on the hardwood floors. And I have several dog beds.

I have a fenced garden at my house. I tend to not let dogs off lead until I'm confident a good relationship has been established. I work off the assumption of being careful but getting the info I need for each dog from their owners as they will know their dog best. With cats and dogs I really go at their pace. If they are shy I am patient and gentle. I like to work out with they like, be that games, a good stroke in the right spot, or just being left alone physically, but knowing they have company.

I believe in making sure animals are properly entertained. So I like to offer games and puzzles and do scent work. Even something as simple as sprinkling some treats in the garden makes the biggest difference. I like to know a dogs favourite game and make sure we make time for this outside of walks so they have a variety of activities. With most cats there is usually a toy that they will like to play with if you find the right one and i love bringing that playful side out of animals. But if your cat prefers just to have some fuss or even just physical company without being touched those are all fine too!
