About: I’ve always been great with dogs and naturally calm around them. Friends regularly trust me to look after their dogs, including longer sitting, feeding and walks around East London. I currently help care for my friend’s chihuahua, Queenie, who’s become my little sidekick, as well as my friend’s staffie, Pablo. I’m very attentive, patient and genuinely enjoy being around dogs and getting to know their personalities. I’m based in Hackney and already spend a lot of time walking through London Fields, Victoria Park and the surrounding areas, usually clocking between 10–20k steps a day, so dog walking fits very naturally into my routine. I’m 36 and currently writing my debut novel, so I spend a lot of time walking, thinking and being outdoors anyway. I understand how important trust and communication are when someone is caring for your dog, so I’ll always make sure owners feel updated, reassured and confident their dog is being well looked after. I work flexibly and spend a lot of time walking throughout East London already, so pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, feeding and sitting during weekdays and weekends, with flexibility for morning, daytime and evening care depending on availability. I enjoy long walks and outdoor time, so I’m happy tailoring walks to suit different dogs, whether they’re energetic and playful or prefer a slower, calmer pace. I’m attentive and very aware of how important trust is when caring for someone’s dog. I always make sure dogs feel safe, comfortable and settled, whether that’s during walks, home visits, or sitting in an owners home. I pay close attention to routines, feeding instructions, behaviour and anything specific owners would like me to be aware of. I’m respectful of peoples homes, keep communication clear and will always provide updates and photos where helpful for reassurance. I’m also mindful around other dogs, busy roads and environments, and I’ll always prioritise a dogs safety, comfort and wellbeing first.
“My dog Dobby loved Moises even though he is initially reactive towards men — after a bit of calming down they now remain good friends :) Moises definitely cares about dogs and it shows. Would rebook again!”

“Remi and Matas were amazing. Our dog has been a bit nervous of people in the past as he is a rescue so is learning to trust the world and they were so great with him. We met beforehand so he could get used to them and meet their gorgeous husky, and in the first meeting we could tell how good there are and how knowledgeable they are about dogs. Paxo had an amazing time with them, warmed up to them so quickly, going in for cuddles after only a few minutes. They respected our instructions but also we completely trusted their judgement. They did lots of lovely walks him and he got to play the whole time with Loki the husky, as well as getting lots of cuddles on the sofa. They sent us lots of photos and videos and we were reassured instantly at how well he was being looked after. Would highly recommend them and we will be using them next time we need to go away, they were great”

About: I have been caring for dogs for over 10 years and truly love being around animals. Growing up with dogs has always been a big part of my life, and I’m very comfortable looking after different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I also previously worked as a dog groomer, which gave me hands-on experience handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. This experience helped me develop a strong understanding of dog behavior and how to keep dogs calm, comfortable, and well cared for. I recently moved to London, but in my family home we have two beautiful dogs, a Samoyed and Pug who I absolutely adore. Being around them has taught me how important it is for dogs to feel safe, loved, and well cared for when their owners are away. I’m a huge animal lover and even attend Crufts every year because I genuinely enjoy learning more about dogs and spending time around them. Whether your dog needs long walks, playtime, or just some calm company and cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and happy while in my care. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I will always treat your dog as if they were my own, with lots of attention, patience, and love. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I work from home, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m able to take regular breaks for walks, playtime, and outdoor time, so your dog won’t be left alone for long periods. I enjoy being active and already take daily walks, so having a dog join me fits perfectly into my schedule. I can provide multiple walks during the day depending on your dog’s needs, along with lots of attention, companionship, and playtime. Because I’m home most of the time, I’m also able to keep a close eye on pets and make sure they feel comfortable and settled in a calm environment. Whether your dog enjoys being active or prefers relaxing and cuddling, I can easily adapt my routine to make sure they feel happy, safe, and well cared for throughout the day. When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they have a safe, comfortable, and calm environment where they can feel relaxed. I have a garden that provides a lovely outdoor space for dogs to get fresh air, stretch their legs, and enjoy some time outside during the day. I also live close to several parks, which makes it easy to take dogs on regular walks and give them plenty of exercise and stimulation. Whether your dog enjoys long walks or shorter, relaxed outings, I’m happy to adapt to their routine and energy level. Inside the home, there is plenty of space in the living area where dogs can settle comfortably. The environment is safe and dog-friendly, allowing pets to relax, play, or rest throughout the day. Because I work from home, I’m able to supervise them closely and make sure they always feel secure and cared for. My goal is to make every dog feel at home, giving them lots of attention, affection, and a safe space while their owners are away.
“Francesca helped us out with a last minute booking and was so kind! She sent lots of pictures and videos of Joni and made sure she got plenty of playtime throughout the day. Thanks again!”

“Lucy was amazing - really friendly, great communication, and fantastic with Idie. Sent lots of pictures, and Idie looked super happy in all of them. Would definitely recommend her, and will absolutely be using her services again!”

“Really fantastic sitter. Went above and beyond with my pup and showed her the best time. She has come home very happy, she got to go to loads of different places. Knowing my pup got to have a walk and swim in Hampstead Heath and got to play basketball too makes me feel a bit better about leaving her. Looked after her like a family member. Very pleased & highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: I've been an animal lover and carer for many years. From having family pets as a child to looking after not only house pets (dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and more!) but also farm animals, I've always had a furry friend by my side. While my job and life haven't made it possible for me to keep a constant pet of my own these days, I've taken care of animals of all shapes and sizes for friends, family, and pet owners around the world on platforms like this. These days I have plenty of attention to devote to looking after your own pets. I enjoy getting to know the quirks of every animal and am happy to discuss whatever needs your pets may have, from basic feeding and walking to giving medications and maintaining training or behavioural reinforcement. I want to make sure everybody - from two legs to four legs - is comfortable with keeping up your routines while providing the best care and love for them. Depending on the arrangement and request, I'm always in regular communication with you including pictures and videos. I've looked after pets of all ages and those with special needs including giving medications, administering injections, monitoring health or behavioural issues, and maintaining training regimens. I work from home most days and have flexibility to look after your pets whether to pop out for a walk, have them over to mine for the day or evening (large flat with plenty of space and a garden!), or look after them at yours so they can stay in a familiar environment. While I've only just started on the Rover platform, I have over 40-50 five-star reviews and references on other pet sitting platforms which I'm happy to provide. I'm a working professional but most days I work from home and keep a flexible schedule which allows me to pop out for walks, keep pets with me for the day or overnight, or work from pet owners' homes. For repeat or regular clients, I communicate any lack of availability due to work travel or other reasons at least two weeks in advance. For daycare or boarding options in my home, I have everything a pet could want. The house has plenty of space and a garden with no other pets of my own. For walks nearby, I'm on a leafy street with plenty of parks where we can either make new dog friends or keep to ourselves. I provide plenty of attention throughout the day. For house sits in your house, I can work from there and stay with your pet(s) most of the day. I'm a responsible sitter, not only to make sure your pet's needs are taken care of but also for house security. I treat your place with the utmost respect, and keep things very tidy. Non-smoker.
“Lucy is very joyful and kind to take care of our Pedri when we need to go somewhere. She’s very attentive to details and his routine, and Pedri loves her and her partner and enjoys his time with them 🥰”

“Sarah helped us out with a short notice request which we were very grateful for. Sarah is warm, friendly and flexible and was happy to take care of my mum's elderly dog as well as our energetic pup! We will definitely be in contact with her again, thank you Sarah!”

“Anna-Louise was a dream dog sitter, couldn’t ask for anything more. She was very responsive when organising it, kept me updated on the day, and Cleo came home very happy and tired. I would definitely use Anna-Louise again and it was lovely leaving Cleo with someone I could trust completely. Thank you!”

“Olivia took great care of Manu for the day! He looked truly relaxed all sprawled out on her sofa :) wouldn't hesitate to recommend! Thanks so much & hopefully he can stay again soon! xx”

About: I’ve pets all my life, dogs when I was a kid and cats when I was teenager. During the pandemia I spent 7 months in Spain in a country house and animal cats started to come to our place for food. We fed them, take care of them for those months and found family for them. My sister has a dog, Lua and my partner’s family has a dog Buddy and we love to spend time with them. I love animals unfortunately we travel a lot so we can’t have our own pet in London. I run my own company so I can work around my own schedule and take care of pets when they need to go out for a walk. I don’t have a crate at home so the pet will be free in my flat and I don’t like pets in cages I like them to feel free like at home

“Emma and her boyfriend were just brilliant! They looked after Peggy for 2 days during the heatwave and they went above and beyond to make sure Peggy was as comfortable as she could be. From fans to frozen lick mats, it was so clear to me that 1) they cared and 2) they took the role of looking after Peggy seriously, which is everything you want when you’re trusting someone. Emma sent loads of photos and kept me updated throughout both days. I couldn’t fault them at all, we will definitely be back!”

About: I used to volunteer at an animal shelter, so I have experience caring for all kinds of dogs. I also had my own dog, and I often take care of dogs with my girlfriend. I love spending time with animals and making sure they’re happy and safe. I work part-time on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, so I have time on the other days to take care of pets. I can plan my days around your pet’s needs and make sure they are happy and cared for. I have a garden at my house and there are plenty of parks nearby, so your pet will have lots of space to play and explore. I always make sure they are safe and comfortable, whether in my home or yours. I treat every pet like my own.

Michelle is very gentle with our baby and gave her time to settle down. She understands dogs well and patiently waited for her to approaching, giving her chews without forcing her to come closer, prepared water bowl for her in warm day. She had such a wonderful evening with Michelle and would love to hangout with her again.

Merve was amazing with Charlie - she got him settled straight away and he came home super happy and sleepy (always a good sign!) She kept me updated throughout the day on how he was doing and sent lots of cute pictures. Would be more than happy to leave Charlie with Merve any time.

Isaac was so great! Our entire trip was a mess and our trains got cancelled and he was very accommodating. He even offered to pick our dog, Levi, up from the station if we were late to the gig. He gave him lots of cuddles and took him for a nice long walk. Levi definitely seemed to have a really good time and I’m sure he will spend some more time with Isaac in the future. Thanks again!

Cristina is so caring and Maxxi loves spending time at her place, especially with Maya. We can always trust her with Maxxi and feel completely at ease knowing he’s in such good hands. She is wonderful with him, always making sure he gets plenty of attention, exercise and cuddles. Maxxi is an energetic dog, but Cristina handles him so well and always makes sure he has a fun and happy time. We defo recommend her!

This was the second time Orla look after Godi, and it won't be the last. Orla is great at communicating, very responsive and reliable. Godi can be nervous and shy, and Orla did great at managing this by being patient, using treats wisely and taking her for walks during the day. Thank you Orla!

We had a really positive experience with Ellie! She was very communicative and kindly made time for a meet & greet even though our daycare booking was only a few days away. Kingsley is quite shy, and we really appreciated how patient she was with him and how she gave him the space to get comfortable in his own time. We were a little nervous about how he’d do with a new sitter as he has separation anxiety, but he seemed happy and like himself when he came home, which was really reassuring. She was also very accommodating with his drop-off time knowing we’d be getting home a little later that evening. We’re really glad we found her - thank you Ellie!

Ana was fantastic with Vinny. This was our first time using Rover, and she made the whole experience feel effortless. Her communication from the outset was excellent, and she came across as warm, attentive, and genuinely experienced, which meant we felt completely comfortable leaving Vinny (our miniature dachshund) in her care. Throughout the day, Ana kept us updated with photos and videos, from a few initial nerves to being fully settled and relaxed within minutes. We saw everything from massage therapy to a lovely riverside walk, followed by plenty of cuddles and a cosy movie night. It was clear Vinny felt safe, happy, and completely at home. As first-time Rover users, we couldn’t have asked for a better introduction. We’ll definitely be booking with Ana again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her 🐾🫶🏾

Anvi has looked after our cockapoo, Lilly, for two Thursdays in a row now, and she has honestly exceeded all our expectations. The biggest reassurance for us was seeing Lilly’s reaction when we arrived for her second visit. She literally pulled me towards Anvi’s door, ran up to it crying with excitement, and when Anvi opened the door, Lilly celebrated seeing her as if she were a member of the family! It was so lovely to see and told us everything we needed to know about how happy and comfortable Lilly had been with her. Anvi kept me updated throughout the day with lots of lovely photos, which gave me complete peace of mind. She has also been easy to communicate with and very flexible with drop off and pick up times, which we really appreciate. We feel so lucky to have found Anvi and will absolutely be using her regularly going forward. Knowing that Lilly is somewhere she genuinely loves going makes such a difference. I couldn’t recommend Anvi highly enough!

Evelyn was so lovely. She helped me out on short notice, and looked after my dog, Kevin, while I was in the office for the day. Kevin instantly felt comfortable with her, and spent the day enjoying lots of attention, cuddles, play time, and walkies. Highly recommend and look forward to booking again ☺️.
