“I was a bit nervous about pet sitting as it was the first time Dinah had had a sitter. Victoria put my mind at ease as when she came to pick up Dinah, I could see that she was very good with dogs. she provided some photos of Dinah during the visit, unfortunately I didn’t get them because we were at the theatre so my phone was turned off, obviously not anything Victoria did wrong! This is the first time I had used Rover so I was not very good at getting back with her but everything worked out fine and when I went to pick up Dinah she was calm and content. Now that I have discovered Victoria when we come up to London, I am sure I will use her again.”

“Jacobo and Raquel have been looking after my two dogs a couple of times now and they have been absolutely brilliant. They send pics and updates throughout and you can see that the dogs are getting properly spoilt! You can also tell that they are very experienced with many different dogs which gives you comfort, as one of my dogs is a timid rescue. Strongly recommend!”

“Amazing sitter our dog loved her! Being a GSP Coco requires a lot of exercise and Vanessa ensured that she was well and truly exhausted at the end of the day. She also kept us updated with plenty of photos and videos so we were totally at ease leaving our furry baby in her care.”

About: I’ve looked after dogs since I was young - both my own dogs and those of neighbours and friends. Since moving to London and being away from my black lab back home in South Africa, I’m looking for any opportunity to get my much-needed dose of dog cuddles and daily walks! I offer a calm, home-from-home environment where your dog will feel safe, relaxed, and part of the family. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just curling up on the sofa, I’ll make sure they’re happy and well cared for while you’re away. I am currently doing a masters at UCL and work at home full time during the week with fully flexible schedule. I am at home most weekends - and other than sports commitments in the mornings on Saturday and Sunday - am usually at home for most of them. I live in a ground-floor flat with a fenced garden. I live with 3 flat mates who are all dog-lovers, and are happy to keep an eye on them if I ever need to step out the house briefly. I am 5 min walking distance from Kensington gardens, so your dog will enjoy regular walks in the park! I’ll make sure your dog feels calm, settled, and truly at home here. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or relaxing in the evening, they’ll get plenty of love and attention—especially when curled up on the couch with us during movie nights. I’m also happy to follow your dog’s usual routine and provide regular updates, photos, and videos so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away.
“Veronica was fantastic! She was extremely friendly and helpful. Hazel felt very comfortable with her. Veronica kept me updated every day, sent pictures, and responded to my messages promptly. I highly recommend her.”

“Yelena was superb with Barnaby. Since Barnaby is quite an anxious dog I worry about leaving him, but he settled down so quickly with Yelena and seemed to thoroughly enjoy his time. It’s clear she has an innate connection with dogs. Great communication also. Thank you so much Yelena!”

About: 5+ years caring for family dogs, including an anxious rescue. Experienced with daily routines, exercise, and providing calm, attentive care tailored to each dog’s needs. I will be starting a PhD this coming October at Imperial College London which gives me a flexible schedule throughout the week. While my studies are my primary commitment, I am happy to fit dog sitting around my research, particularly in evenings and weekends. I live in a family-owned flat, just a 15-minute walk from Holland Park and Hyde Park, giving your dog plenty of safe outdoor space. I share the flat with my sister and a friend, who are both big dog lovers, so your dog will receive lots of love and attention.

About: I’m a dedicated animal rescue volunteer and have cared for dogs and cats for many years. I’m used to looking after animals of all kinds playful puppies, nervous or shy cats, and older pets in recovery who need extra patience and attention. I’m confident giving medication (tablets, drops, and topical treatments), monitoring animals with health conditions, and following feeding or care routines closely. My rescue work has taught me how to read animal behaviour, build trust with anxious animals, and handle all daily care such as feeding, walking, grooming, and cleaning up after them. My neighbours, friends, and family regularly count on me to look after their pets, knowing they’re in safe and loving hands. I’m calm, gentle, reliable, and genuinely committed to the wellbeing of every animal I care for. I’m not working at the moment I’m on summer break, so I’m fully available every day, 24/7. That means your pet gets my complete attention with no rushing off to a job. I can do daytime visits, walks, daytime care, and overnight or extended stays whenever you need. Because my schedule is open, I can easily fit around your pet’s existing routine their usual feeding times, walks, medication, and bedtime so there’s as little disruption as possible while you’re away. I take trust very seriously and would never betray it honestly, I love animals even more than people, and your pet’s safety is my number one priority. I watch over them 100% of the time. At home I keep windows shut and checked, never leave food on the table or floor, and keep the toilet lid closed so they can’t get into anything dangerous. I’m happy for them on the bed and sofa if that’s what they’re used to, so they feel comfortable and at home. When walking, I never take the lead off, and I never walk more than two dogs at once so I always stay fully in control. I’ll also send you regular updates at least every 2–3 hours, with photos, so you always know your pet is safe, happy, and well looked after. I’m calm, attentive, and completely committed to keeping your companion secure and loved.
“Tara is real dog lover , she looked after our sensitive Ricci and made sure he is safe and comfortable. She made him company all day , feed him , walk and care for him , so we did not have to worry about. She knows how to be delicate with little dogs. Definitely recommend her and will use her services again.”

I am a dog owner myself and have had Tino since he was 3months old (he is 17 years old now). I absolutely love dogs and usually look after my friends’ dogs when they go away too. I always say my child has paws because Tino is my baby. About Tino: he gets along with all dogs of all ages and characters. He is 17years old, loves to cuddle and chill! He also loves to be in the garden to catch a tan occasionally or run around! Happy to meet beforehand to introduce our pooches prior to the booking :) I work full time so I can only look after your fur baby on weekends. When they are with me, i will provide them with food, play time, walkies and nap times. Your dog will be extra safe with me as I have a private patio and access to a private communal garden which is only accessible by a limited number of flats. I will also never let them off the lead when we go for walkies.
Chelsea dog owners share their Rover experiences
Victoria has taken care of Albi many times and he always comes back very happy having had a fun and enriching time. I trust Victoria with him often and she always communicates very clearly, she’s also consistently available, even on short notice - she’s really been a massive help

Hannah was a great sitter for Poppy! She was really helpful and good at communicating throughout the day and not phased when I had to drop off the food I had forgotten! Would definitely recommend Hannah and her house is super close to the common, which is an added bonus!

Supanida was great with Zeus and made the whole experience very easy and reassuring. I really appreciated the regular updates and photos throughout the day, which were lovely to receive and helped me know he was settled and happy. It was clear he was well looked after and in good hands. I’d definitely recommend her and would be rebooking 🥰
