“Fiona had my JR Truffle for two days and she was very well looked after. Fiona was happy to meet pre sit to meet Truffle and she was professional yet friendly. Truffle is a high energy young dog and her needs were well catered for. I would highly recommend Fiona.”

About: I’m Lucrezia, Italian living in London and I’m new to Rover! I had a wonderful Westie for 15 years, and I’ve always been surrounded by dogs growing up — from my dad’s loyal German Shepherd to my uncle’s sweet Golden Retriever. I work remotely, which gives me the flexibility and time to take care of pets. While I can’t have one of my own at the moment since I travel for work often during the year, I love to have some great company during the day. I have a simply furnished flat, which means that there are not many things laying around, it’s clean and it’s a safe space for pets.
“Paula is a great sitter and took great care of my doodle Ollie! She kindly sent photos and updates throughout the day and even took Ollie on a long walk to the park! Would highly recommend Paula to anyone!”

About: Back in 2014 my mom and I got our first dog, a beautifully stubborn female Shiba. Ever since I have learned a lot about the different characters of each dog. As I traveled the world because of my studies, I looked after a mix of a chihuahua and a pug that belonged to my host family, as well as having long walks with 2 border collies during my time as an AU Pair in Germany. I have found each dog’s personality and needs unique, like for example my Shiba being pretty much a cat in a dogs body haha I have experience bathing both small to large dogs, as well as to being able to stick to boundaries when it comes to giving them food that is not theirs (my mom is guilty of this😅) I would love to meet you and your dog and see if I could be the right fit to look after them when needed :) I work from home full time so your dogs will always be in company and will enjoy the flexibility that wfh allows to go on many walks I provide them a safe space for them to lay down on, with a cozy mat and some chewing toys for them to be entertained as well as treats if allowed by owner.
About: I have been surrounded by dogs my whole family as when I was only 2 months old we had our first family pet, and my own dog when I turned 15 years old, he was a Pitbull. What a wonderful companion that he was. As I am at home full time my schedule fits perfectly with looking after a pet, I would be able to spend all day with your pet and give it the attention and love that it needs through many walks and many treats during the day. When it comes to cats we always keep our windows a couple of inches open so that fresh air comes into our home but safe enough for them not to ran away. Our home has a lovely shut system on the main door making it very difficult for any pets to try and come out if they are feeling cheeky. Of course we follow your suggestions and never leave them home alone.
“Doria is so fantastic with our pup. She is very responsive and available. Doria is really kind and clearly knowledgable about dogs meaning that we can truly trust her and we know that our dog will be well looked after.”
About: I grew up in an exoctic animal rescue and have looked after flamingos, lobsters, sheep and every kind of dog. I have a friendly respectful sausage dog (neutered male) who loves company but is good at reading when to leave other dogs alone. My home is sausage proof with ramps and lots of blankets and a sun patch waiting for your dog. I have a garden on a secure large flat roof balcony but also I am close to a large quiet cemetery for regular walks (and squirrel watching). I have experienced with dogs recovering from IVDD and animal medication. I’m home based, writing a book on sculpture and doing remote gallery research and admin. So my dog needs some company as much as me! I have a crate (if you want to maintain your dogs crate training only) and plenty of beds, bowls etc. Your dog will be treated like mine - snuggle spots on the sofa, can sleep on my bed (or in 😂) as you prefer. I can accommodate any feeding and walking schedule. I am very vigilant on the use of ramps and the correct way to carry pets. On walks I do not let dogs off lead (they are not my baby) but I do take a long line and a ground stake and find a quiet spot for them to play. I always walk with a way to carry all the dogs in my care (giant dog bags) in case another dog owner does not have good recall. I want the whole pack to be comfortable so I do ensure the quieter members don’t get overlooked.
“Lili is fantastic! My dog Honey has separation anxiety and can get nervous in new spaces and with new people, but she warmed up to Lili right away. During her stay, Honey was well cared for, did some obedience reinforcement, and of course got some good exercise. Lili is also great to work with, flexible, and responsive. Looking forward to having Honey over every Thursday :)”

I absolutely adore animals and will always do my best to make sure your pet feels happy and loved. I’m home most of the time, so there’ll be plenty of walks, playtime, and cuddles. I’m also the kind of person who’ll sleep on the edge of the bed just to make sure your dog’s comfy! I’m available on short notice and I’m home based, my partner works from home so we can dedicate all my attention to your pet :) I have a large flat, fenced garden and a lovely parks nearby with enclosed spaces for dogs. “Like all dog owners , my Max is my best friend, so leaving him for the first time in 8 years with a stranger made me so anxious! But after my experience with James, I don't think I will ever leave him with any other sitter, James is a hero! He took on board Maxs profile, I could see when I met him he had taken time to read it, and this showed with the amazing care he showed my dog. Max was so happy and contented when I picked him up. James had text me first thing to reassure me, sent me photos and updates, gave Max fun amazing walks, and clearly never left his side, just as Max loves! He even got Max's smelly old bed/blanket out...but still let him snuggle on sofa at end of day on a fur! Although i know if i had said no furniture, james would have followed the instructions, because you can tell he really cares and loves dogs. James is such good value for money, we only had to pay 1 days care even though it was 13 hours, and he does not charge some rip off amount. We cannot reccomend James enough, and now look forward to Max seeing his new friend again without any worries. Thank you James, you deserve 10 stars”
