Availability

Pet care fits well around our routine, and between the two of us we’re able to offer flexible and attentive care. One of us works hybrid, so there are regular days working from home, and we’re fully available on evenings and weekends. Paul is a teacher, which means we’re able to provide full-time care during school holidays (including half terms, Easter and summer holidays). During term time, we’re particularly well suited to weekend boarding and short stays, and our calendar will show available weekdays. We’re always happy to discuss individual routines and availability to make sure it’s a good fit for both you and your dog.

Safety, trust & environment

We live in a dog-friendly, safe, enclosed ground-floor flat, just two minutes from Wandsworth park. The park is fenced and very dog-friendly, and it’s a place we regularly walk friends’ and neighbours’ dogs, so we’re very familiar with using it safely and responsibly. Our home is a dog friendly space! Our ground floor flat has three access doors and is super safe for our visitors 🐶 Fresh water is always available, and we make sure each dog settles in comfortably and knows where everything is. We provide a calm, safe environment where dogs can relax, feel secure, enjoy plenty of attention and care and have hopefully loads of fun!

Information Ellen M. would like to know about your pet

To make sure everything goes well with our boarders and daycare comers, we ask owners to tell us about any health conditions, dietary needs, allergies, behavioural traits, or training cues. We also like to know about their usual daily routine, favourite activities, and any anxieties or preferences they have (e.g. around humans, kids or other dogs). This helps us to look after them in a way that’s as close as possible to what they’re used to, and make sure every doggo feels happy and safe with us 🐾❤️

A typical day

We structure dogs days based on what is a normal routine to them, to keep them happy, engaged, and relaxed. A typical day includes walks to the nearby Wandsworth Park, indoor games and play, cuddles, naps, and attention to any training they already know. We’re happy to adapt activities depending on a dog’s energy level — whether they enjoy longer walks and games, or prefer a quieter, more relaxed routine. Mealtimes are followed according to the dog’s usual routine, and for dogs who enjoy baths, we can include a gentle bath if the owner requests. Throughout the day, we make sure each dog feels comfortable, loved, and part of our home. We keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can see their dog is happy and well cared for ❤️

Pet care experience

We have many years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats and we love them! I am Irish and Paul is Australian - we have both grown up around animals with dogs and cats from childhood, so caring for them has always been part of our life ❤️ We’ve been regularly looking after dogs for over a year now and it’s such a joy for us. We walk them, feed them, play games, keep up basic training, and make sure they feel relaxed and happy while their owners are away. We genuinely have the best time with them and look forward to it so much when we are looking after a pup! We’re comfortable caring for dogs of different personalities and energy levels, and we’re experienced with daily routines such as feeding, walking, bathing, playtime, and positive reinforcement. In our home, we make sure to give dogs a very warm welcome! They can cuddle on the sofa, relax wherever they feel comfortable, and enjoy a calm, loving place with plenty of attention! We do make a big fuss of every doggy staying here and just love seeing them happy. Feel free to read our reviews to help get to know us 😊 Please know we occasionally can take two dogs at the same time but only if both owners are aware. Please make sure to tell us if your dog doesn’t like other dogs and we will ensure to not book another dog during your booking. Thankyou!

Ellen and Paul were very loving and sensitive carers for Hattie over the long Early May bank holiday weekend. Hattie obviously took to them and they kep me updated as to how she was. They were very observant of Hattie’s behaviour and identified some characteristics that summed her up to a tee. I would happily rebook with them.

I couldn't have asked for better sitters for Peggy. She settled in instantly and was clearly so happy throughout her stay. They sent me frequent updates and photos which gave me total peace of mind whilst I was away. Lovely people - we will definitely be booking again. Pegs is now absolutely shattered, a clear sign she had the BEST time!

Ellen & Paul… where do I even begin? 🤍 They didn’t just take care of my dog; they truly became her second family. During our moving process, they went above and beyond to support us. From picking her up to safely handing her over, they handled everything with so much care and responsibility. They were incredibly attentive to her allergy and made sure she was comfortable and happy at all times 🐾 But more than that… they loved her. And you can feel that immediately. My little girl absolutely fell in love with them and as a dog mom, there is nothing more reassuring than seeing your dog feel safe, happy, and loved 🥹 They are one of the most thoughtful, kind, and genuine people we’ve ever met. I never once worried about her and that says everything. We are beyond grateful 💕 If you’re considering leaving your pet with them, don’t think twice, they are truly amazing!!!!! from Sena & Beko with ❤️❤️❤️
