I am currently studying after four years working as a graphic designer, which gives me a genuinely flexible schedule. My partner Marco is also often home, so your dog will rarely if ever be left alone. Mornings usually start with a walk and evenings wind down with another one. On weekends we love getting out of the city for longer walks in the countryside or parks and are happy to bring your dog along if they are up for it.

Safety, trust & environment

We live in a two bedroom flat with a communal garden, a few minutes walk from Holland Park, Avondale Park and Hyde Park. It is a calm, tidy and secure environment where dogs can settle in comfortably. Your dog’s safety and wellbeing always come first and I make sure the space is pet friendly before any stay. Whether caring for your dog at mine or yours, I am attentive, responsible and treat every dog as I would my own.

Information Chiara S. would like to know about your pet

The more I know about your dog beforehand the better the stay will be. I would love to know their daily routine, meal times and walk schedule so I can keep things consistent. It also helps to know how they are around other people and animals, anything they particularly love or find stressful, and whether they have had any difficult experiences with sitters in the past. Is your dog toilet trained and do they ever have accidents in new environments? Completely fine if so, I handle it calmly and without fuss. The more detail you can share upfront the smoother everything tends to go.

A typical day

Every dog is different and I always follow their existing routine as closely as possible so the transition feels smooth. You share their usual schedule for walks, meals and rest and I stick to it. Active dogs are welcome to join me for a morning run or longer outing. Dogs who prefer a quieter pace will get relaxed park strolls and plenty of downtime. I pay attention to each dog’s personality and give them the right balance of company and space throughout the day.

Helping Dogs feel at Home even when you’re away :)

Pet care experience

Dogs have been part of my life since I was six, when I convinced my mum to get our first dog and immediately took on the responsibility of helping care for him. Growing up with a German Shepherd taught me a lot about behaviour, routine and building trust with a dog. Since moving to London I have kept that connection alive through dog sitting, including four years regularly helping my flatmate care for dogs through this app. I am calm in unexpected situations, attentive to each dog’s personality and always happy to go the extra mile whether that is a long walk, a play session or just being a reassuring presence for a dog that is away from home for the first time.

Chiara did a wonderful job looking after our dog for the day, she was very responsive and seemed to be an experienced dog sitter. I would definitely recommend her!

Chiara honestly saved us with a last-minute booking — she took Kaia in on one day’s notice, which I was so grateful for, especially as it’s not always easy finding someone comfortable with a reactive big dog. She’s had experience with her own GSD, Gioia, so I knew she understood the challenges of the breed and felt comfortable handing her over. Chiara and her partner took Kaia out wherever they went- it genuinely felt like she went on a holiday of her own with all the social plans they had planned and managed to include her in 😅. Great communication throughout and daily updates and photos at the end of the day. I felt nothing but good energy and warmth, we were so so lucky with this experience 🤍

Chiara was fantastic. My 13 year old cockapoo stayed with Chiara over a long weekend. Chiara was extremely attentive and just a delight to deal with. Great communication and a lovely persona. I will definitely book again. Thanks Chiara!
