“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Lucy took such great care of Hamish which wasn’t easy in a brutal heatwave and one there being a huge thunderstorm the first night which Hamish is terrified of. Hamish settled in really quickly and we know that when we leave him with Lucy again he will be in excellent hands. Thank you Lucy 😊🐾”

“Angela was brilliant with Isla. As soon as we arrived it was obvious how much Angela loves dogs and how natural she is with them. I’d highly recommend Angela, and 100% woukd ask to book her again when we need.”

“Hands down the best dog sitters/ boarders I have ever booked for my dog Marple- and I have booked with many! Marple is an extremely high energy parson Russell and I was so impressed with how amazing and attentive Brian was in sending me lots of updates and photos and I was not anxious at all. I will definitely book him again. Marple was so well cared for and happy when she was dropped back and Brian had also spotted a potential injury that I had overlooked. I am so grateful and I cannot recommend him highly enough.”

“Emily was amazing! I could not have asked for anyone better to look after Luna on such short notice. It is clear how much she loves and cares for dogs. Luna was happy, healthy, and clearly well looked after when we picked her up—she almost seemed reluctant to leave and come home! I greatly appreciated Emily’s kindness, communication, and the many updates and photos she sent throughout Luna’s stay, even when I wasn’t able to reply. I would happily trust Emily to look after Luna again. As a fellow Doberman owner, I would strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter. Thank you, Emily!”

“Vanessa was absolutely wonderful with my poodle, Larry. She was so kind, caring, and gentle with him, treating him as if he were her own. She gave him so much attention and love, and I really felt at ease knowing he was in such good hands. Vanessa kept me updated with regular messages and photos, which was so reassuring. Larry was clearly very happy and well looked after I couldn’t recommend Vanessa highly enough! Very trustworthy and goes out of her way to help in every way. Thanks again”

“Adam was absolutely sensational. He is truly such a dog lover and from our meet and greet I could tell my two cockapoos would be in the best hands. During their stay with Adam, one of my dogs ended up with a grass seed in her ear and he recognised it so quickly and acted so quickly to get her to the vet that meant the vet didn’t have to sedate her to get it out - his attention to their wellbeing is next level. I couldn’t possibly recommend a better person to look after my pups. Thanks so much Adam, really looking forward to you looking after Cooper and Suzette again!”

Ralph had the best time with her, and we felt totally at ease knowing he was in such good hands”

“Gul was absolutely amazing. My husband and I traveled did two weeks and wanted our 5 month old kitten to be boarded so he would be alone too often at home. She was so patient with him, sent pictures everyday and gave him all the cuddles. I would highly recommend Gul to anyone looking for someone e caring and attentive to take care of their pet.”

About: Hello! I’m Lucy, and I’m truly passionate about caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes. I’ve raised my own little terrier, Maya, from puppyhood through to senior years; I know just how much love, patience, and understanding this entails. I also volunteer with Underdog International, a fantastic dog charity in my spare time. Through this, and my own experience, I’ve cared for a wide range of dogs - young and old, anxious and outgoing, energetic and laid-back. I’m confident in all aspects of care, from walking and feeding to bathing, playtime and administering medication if needed. If your pet has specific needs, just let me know when you book as I’m always happy to accommodate. I currently work a four day week from home, Monday-Thursday alongside my partner Oli. We’re both civil servants with flexible schedules, so between us, your dog with have plenty of company and opportunities for walks and play! We live in a spacious two bed flat in Hackney Central, with no pets of our own and no children. There’s access to a large gated garden and we’re just an 8 minute walk from London Fields. The bottom line is that your dog’s wellbeing and safety is always my top priority. I provide a calm, supportive and secure environment and follow your instructions closely. I’m always happy to accommodate special routines, dietary needs or quirks to ensure your dog feels comfortable and safe.

“Olivia was absolutely wonderful with my older cat while i was away. She was reliable, friendly, sent photos often and even saved some of my plants during the heat wave. I would definitely recommend her. Thank you!”

“I can’t thank Remi and Matas enough for looking after our little girl, Pearl. Her tail wagged like crazy every time we dropped her off and we received constant updates on what she was up to throughout the day. She’s made amazing little puppy friends along the way too. We will most definitely be coming back!! The highlight of Pearl’s week :)”

About: I’ve always been great with dogs and naturally calm around them. Friends regularly trust me to look after their dogs, including longer sitting, feeding and walks around East London. I currently help care for my friend’s chihuahua, Queenie, who’s become my little sidekick, as well as my friend’s staffie, Pablo. I’m very attentive, patient and genuinely enjoy being around dogs and getting to know their personalities. I’m based in Hackney and already spend a lot of time walking through London Fields, Victoria Park and the surrounding areas, usually clocking between 10–20k steps a day, so dog walking fits very naturally into my routine. I’m 36 and currently writing my debut novel, so I spend a lot of time walking, thinking and being outdoors anyway. I understand how important trust and communication are when someone is caring for your dog, so I’ll always make sure owners feel updated, reassured and confident their dog is being well looked after. I work flexibly and spend a lot of time walking throughout East London already, so pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, feeding and sitting during weekdays and weekends, with flexibility for morning, daytime and evening care depending on availability. I enjoy long walks and outdoor time, so I’m happy tailoring walks to suit different dogs, whether they’re energetic and playful or prefer a slower, calmer pace. I’m attentive and very aware of how important trust is when caring for someone’s dog. I always make sure dogs feel safe, comfortable and settled, whether that’s during walks, home visits, or sitting in an owners home. I pay close attention to routines, feeding instructions, behaviour and anything specific owners would like me to be aware of. I’m respectful of peoples homes, keep communication clear and will always provide updates and photos where helpful for reassurance. I’m also mindful around other dogs, busy roads and environments, and I’ll always prioritise a dogs safety, comfort and wellbeing first.
“My dog Dobby loved Moises even though he is initially reactive towards men — after a bit of calming down they now remain good friends :) Moises definitely cares about dogs and it shows. Would rebook again!”

About: I have been caring for dogs for over 10 years and truly love being around animals. Growing up with dogs has always been a big part of my life, and I’m very comfortable looking after different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I also previously worked as a dog groomer, which gave me hands-on experience handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. This experience helped me develop a strong understanding of dog behavior and how to keep dogs calm, comfortable, and well cared for. I recently moved to London, but in my family home we have two beautiful dogs, a Samoyed and Pug who I absolutely adore. Being around them has taught me how important it is for dogs to feel safe, loved, and well cared for when their owners are away. I’m a huge animal lover and even attend Crufts every year because I genuinely enjoy learning more about dogs and spending time around them. Whether your dog needs long walks, playtime, or just some calm company and cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and happy while in my care. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I will always treat your dog as if they were my own, with lots of attention, patience, and love. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I work from home, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m able to take regular breaks for walks, playtime, and outdoor time, so your dog won’t be left alone for long periods. I enjoy being active and already take daily walks, so having a dog join me fits perfectly into my schedule. I can provide multiple walks during the day depending on your dog’s needs, along with lots of attention, companionship, and playtime. Because I’m home most of the time, I’m also able to keep a close eye on pets and make sure they feel comfortable and settled in a calm environment. Whether your dog enjoys being active or prefers relaxing and cuddling, I can easily adapt my routine to make sure they feel happy, safe, and well cared for throughout the day. When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they have a safe, comfortable, and calm environment where they can feel relaxed. I have a garden that provides a lovely outdoor space for dogs to get fresh air, stretch their legs, and enjoy some time outside during the day. I also live close to several parks, which makes it easy to take dogs on regular walks and give them plenty of exercise and stimulation. Whether your dog enjoys long walks or shorter, relaxed outings, I’m happy to adapt to their routine and energy level. Inside the home, there is plenty of space in the living area where dogs can settle comfortably. The environment is safe and dog-friendly, allowing pets to relax, play, or rest throughout the day. Because I work from home, I’m able to supervise them closely and make sure they always feel secure and cared for. My goal is to make every dog feel at home, giving them lots of attention, affection, and a safe space while their owners are away.
About: I've been an animal lover and carer for many years. From having family pets as a child to looking after not only house pets (dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and more!) but also farm animals, I've always had a furry friend by my side. While my job and life haven't made it possible for me to keep a constant pet of my own these days, I've taken care of animals of all shapes and sizes for friends, family, and pet owners around the world on platforms like this. These days I have plenty of attention to devote to looking after your own pets. I enjoy getting to know the quirks of every animal and am happy to discuss whatever needs your pets may have, from basic feeding and walking to giving medications and maintaining training or behavioural reinforcement. I want to make sure everybody - from two legs to four legs - is comfortable with keeping up your routines while providing the best care and love for them. Depending on the arrangement and request, I'm always in regular communication with you including pictures and videos. I've looked after pets of all ages and those with special needs including giving medications, administering injections, monitoring health or behavioural issues, and maintaining training regimens. I work from home most days and have flexibility to look after your pets whether to pop out for a walk, have them over to mine for the day or evening (large flat with plenty of space and a garden!), or look after them at yours so they can stay in a familiar environment. While I've only just started on the Rover platform, I have over 40-50 five-star reviews and references on other pet sitting platforms which I'm happy to provide. I'm a working professional but most days I work from home and keep a flexible schedule which allows me to pop out for walks, keep pets with me for the day or overnight, or work from pet owners' homes. For repeat or regular clients, I communicate any lack of availability due to work travel or other reasons at least two weeks in advance. For daycare or boarding options in my home, I have everything a pet could want. The house has plenty of space and a garden with no other pets of my own. For walks nearby, I'm on a leafy street with plenty of parks where we can either make new dog friends or keep to ourselves. I provide plenty of attention throughout the day. For house sits in your house, I can work from there and stay with your pet(s) most of the day. I'm a responsible sitter, not only to make sure your pet's needs are taken care of but also for house security. I treat your place with the utmost respect, and keep things very tidy. Non-smoker.
“Francesca helped us out with a last minute booking and was so kind! She sent lots of pictures and videos of Joni and made sure she got plenty of playtime throughout the day. Thanks again!”

“Really fantastic sitter. Went above and beyond with my pup and showed her the best time. She has come home very happy, she got to go to loads of different places. Knowing my pup got to have a walk and swim in Hampstead Heath and got to play basketball too makes me feel a bit better about leaving her. Looked after her like a family member. Very pleased & highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Sarah helped us out with a short notice request which we were very grateful for. Sarah is warm, friendly and flexible and was happy to take care of my mum's elderly dog as well as our energetic pup! We will definitely be in contact with her again, thank you Sarah!”

“Lucy is very joyful and kind to take care of our Pedri when we need to go somewhere. She’s very attentive to details and his routine, and Pedri loves her and her partner and enjoys his time with them 🥰”

“Lucy was amazing - really friendly, great communication, and fantastic with Idie. Sent lots of pictures, and Idie looked super happy in all of them. Would definitely recommend her, and will absolutely be using her services again!”

“Isabella was amazing with looking after Miller. Super communicative and gave Miller regular walks and clearly a lot of care, especially when Miller has been ill and needs specific care. Looking forward to book again!”

“Anna-Louise was a dream dog sitter, couldn’t ask for anything more. She was very responsive when organising it, kept me updated on the day, and Cleo came home very happy and tired. I would definitely use Anna-Louise again and it was lovely leaving Cleo with someone I could trust completely. Thank you!”

About: I’ve pets all my life, dogs when I was a kid and cats when I was teenager. During the pandemia I spent 7 months in Spain in a country house and animal cats started to come to our place for food. We fed them, take care of them for those months and found family for them. My sister has a dog, Lua and my partner’s family has a dog Buddy and we love to spend time with them. I love animals unfortunately we travel a lot so we can’t have our own pet in London. I run my own company so I can work around my own schedule and take care of pets when they need to go out for a walk. I don’t have a crate at home so the pet will be free in my flat and I don’t like pets in cages I like them to feel free like at home
About: We are furparents to two gorgeous doggos - one of whom is currently in our home country. We miss him a lot and would also love for our cockapoo here to make more friends. Both of us grew up with pets (cats and dogs) and admittedly, love spending time with them more than we do with people. We both work from home and go to the office once a week so someone is always available to care for your dog. Our jobs permit us to block a few hours on our calendars each day so we can take your dog on walks depending on their routine. We live in a flat with a long balcony so your dog won’t have any trouble holding their bladder while inside. We live 5 mins away three dog pens and about 15 mins from London Fields, so plenty of space for the dogs to run around and play. Our dog, Chico, is always excited to play with others as long as they allow him too. If your dog is not prepared for this, as there are two of us, it’s no trouble to keep them separate.

“Lucy took our beloved senior boy Ollie on some walks in his last few weeks and she did such a lovely job caring for him. He needed to be carried up and down the stairs, and he was very slow so needed a lot of patience. We are so grateful for her and recommend her to any other dog owner.”

About: I have been a pet lover since age 0, and have spent 5 years professionally dog walking and pet sitting in New York City before moving to London, caring for hundreds of beloved pets. I grew up with three beautiful dogs, Bali, Bella, and Rilian (a lab, a Great Pyrenees, and an Irish water spaniel), alongside three fab cats (Bigote, Tigerlily, Katherine, and Henrietta), and my current cat Antonio. In addition to professional experience, I have been helping friends and family with their pets since I was 13 years old. I am professionally trained with different types of dogs, and have a lot of experience with dogs of all different ages and personalities. I also have experience of caring for sick and geriatric dogs and cats. I'm so excited to meet your beautiful pets! I work remotely, so I am very flexible in my schedule and able to give your pet lots of attention. I’m happy to provide walks and drop-ins at the frequency that your pet needs. I don’t provide pet sitting in my own home (as I have a cat who likes his own space!) and when looking after pets in the host’s home, I am scrupulous to follow instructions and the needs of the pet in terms of safety, health, and happiness.
“I’m so happy with Matas and Remi walking Vincent. This was the first time we handed over our 40kg rescue dog to a dog walker. Vincent felt at ease, and Matas handled his hour-long walks with great competence.”

About: I’ve had dogs in my life since I was five years old, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. I’m originally from Lima, where I’ve dog-sat both in my home and in owners’ homes. I’ve had two dogs of my own: Coron, a Dalmatian, and Vilma, a Golden Retriever. Through them, I’ve experienced every stage of a dog’s life, including senior care, so I understand the patience and gentleness older dogs need. I also love caring for puppies and younger dogs, and I’m always happy to keep them active and playful. I combine genuine affection with responsibility and reliable communication, and I’ll always keep you updated so you have peace of mind while you’re away. Whether your pet needs calm companionship or lots of play, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I currently have a very flexible schedule, as I’m job searching while working on projects from home and doing some volunteering. This means I can easily adapt my routine to your pet’s needs, whether that’s walks, playtime, or simply keeping them company. I’m available throughout the week and can be flexible with timings, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent as possible so they feel safe and comfortable. I follow your instructions closely, including feeding, walks, and any specific preferences your pet may have, whether they need calm companionship or more active playtime. I will always make sure they feel relaxed and well cared for in their familiar environment. I also keep the home tidy and secure, and I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away.
“Mehak is such a wonderful dog walker, she's attentive to both my dogs (differing) needs and communicates very well with me, I always enjoy seeing there photos from walks and hearing about it.

“Sid was absolutely amazing with our 4yo border terrier. She had him overnight at her place. She was so friendly when we were arranging it and dropping him off. Made us feel really at ease. About: We're a friendly, calm, WFH couple living right by London Fields. Dogs have been a big part of both our lives since we were kids - I grew up with springer spaniels, and Jack with border collies. We don't have one of our own right now, and we miss having that companionship around, so we'd love to look after your pups when we can :) We work from home a lot so your pups will gets lots of company. We're easy-going about fitting into their routine, up for walks or overnight stay. We've looked after dogs locally over the last couple years through BorrowMyDoggy - so we know the ropes, even if we're new to Rover! Between the two of us, one or both of us is usually home most days, so your dog gets plenty of company rather than being left alone for hours. We fit walks and playtime around work calls (not the other way round), and we're happy to stick to whatever routine your dog's used to, feeding times, walk lengths, all of it. Evenings and weekends we're normally around too, so it's not just a weekday thing. Overnight stays are always at ours. We've got a small patio out back and we're literally seconds from London Fields, so your dog gets regular time outdoors, not just one walk a day squeezed in. Inside, it's a calm, settled home, no long periods left alone, and we follow your feeding and routine instructions closely so nothing feels unfamiliar. We ask plenty of questions upfront too (recall, reactivity, anything they're nervous of) so there are no surprises on day one, and we're always reachable for updates or photos if you want peace of mind.
“We had such a great experience with Megan. She looked after my dog with so much love and care, and I could tell he was really happy with her. She kept sending me pictures and updates all the time, which I really appreciated. Honestly, I absolutely loved the whole experience and will definitely book with her again. Megan is such a lovely person, and my dog absolutely adored her.”

About: I’ve been part of a family that has always had pets, so caring for animals has been a part of my life from a very young age. I grew up on a farm in New Zealand, surrounded by a wide range of animals including dogs, cats, horses, sheep, and Highland cows. This has given me plenty of hands-on experience understanding the different personalities and needs of all kinds of animals. As well as caring for my own pets, I’ve also looked after the pets of friends and family over the years. We have a running family joke that I’m the “animal whisperer” because I’ve always had a natural way of connecting with animals and helping them feel comfortable around me. I’m genuinely not biased towards cats or dog, I absolutely love both! Every pet is different, and I enjoy getting to know their unique personalities and routines. You can rest assured that your pet will be cared for with patience, kindness, and plenty of love. Whether they need lots of playtime, a quiet companion, or someone to stick to their usual routine, I’ll treat them as if they were my own. I am currently working full time as a designer. I have the flexibility to work from home to care for animals, plus a pet friendly office space. If they needed to come to work with me. I live in a lovely ground floor flat in Islington that has lots of living room space. With a fenced outdoor area for fresh air. Lots of local parks in the area for walks.
“Aleksandra is amazing! She had him for a week while I was on holiday. She was so proactive, helpful and really gets larger dogs. Even when something happens she doesn't panic. Would recommend to any size or breed!”

About: I’ve loved animals all my life, no matter how big or small. My first pet Nelo the cat came into my life when I was nine and taught me responsibility, care, and that love is shown through actions something I carry into every pet I look after. I have over a year of experience on the Rover app caring for multiple dogs, and I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. To make sure every dog gets plenty of individual attention, I only accept one booking at a time. However, I’m happy to care for two dogs if they’re from the same household, so they can stay together in a familiar pair. I’m experienced in administering medication (such as mixing tablets into food) and can provide baths if shampoo is supplied. I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe and well cared for. :) Clear communication is very important to me, so I’ll always keep you updated for peace of mind. I’m always happy to accommodate your pet’s individual needs! Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine. As a university student, I have a flexible schedule and often work from home so your dog is never left alone. I easily incorporate walks, playtime, and any necessary care into my day, and I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s individual routine. In a pet owner’s home, I follow their routine as closely as possible to ensure their pet feels comfortable and secure. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, administering medication if needed, and providing plenty of affection and attention. I also keep the home tidy and respect any specific instructions given. If caring for a pet in my own home, they will always be in my company, ensuring they feel safe and never alone. I have a secure garden, allowing for frequent toilet breaks and outdoor play whenever needed.

“Isobella was fantastic! She took excellent care of Milka for a week. She was very attentive and sent regular updates. Milka looked so relaxed and happy in the pictures. She also understood and followed the instructions carefully. Milka has separation anxiety and food allergies, but Isobella handled everything without any issues. We will definitely recommend her and book her services again. Thank you, Isobella!”

“Breda was a godsend. She looked after our puppy overnight after another sitter fell through, and it couldn’t have been more of a relief. Communicative, flexible, and amazing with dogs, she’s a safe pair of hands. Adelaide had an awesome time and can’t wait to go back!”

“Excellent sitter, great communication. Thomas came to meet our dog before the first booking, he offered pick up and drop off, sent regular updates and looked after him really well. Highly recommended.”
