“Emma has done drop-ins to check on my cat, Vader, several times now - Vader always looks forward to Emma's visits and is left happy, fed, watered and with a clean litter tray. She always sends picture updates so I know that she's doing okay, which is reassuring and appreciated. Vader can't wait for her next Emma visit!”

“I needed a pet sitter for my two cats at short notice and Leanne was able to accommodate. Leanne is knowledgeable and understanding. She responded quickly to my initial enquiry. She gave detailed updates for the visit and uplodaded a lot of great photos that made me feel safe in the knowledge my cats were being looked after. I would definitely rebook if the need arose. Thank you!”

“Thank you for looking after the cats! They seemed very happy when we got back. Communicate was great and the pictures were very good.”

“Rozaliya has been great looking after my two cats over the weekend, keeping me updated with every visit. From our first meeting, I had every confidence that they would be getting so much love and attention, and they seemed so content when I came back. Rozaliya was also very flexible and helpful when my plans changed last minute as well as following all the instructions I left perfectly. I will 100% be booking more drop in visits with her.”

“We've recently moved house and needed a new cat sitter we could trust. Liezel was fantastic with both our cats, and I was really reassured by the daily updates with pictures and happy kitties.”

“Sophie was incredibly patient and flexible over the booking process (which was complicated due to some cat health issues that affected the booking times), and responded promptly and patiently to all my messages and my last-minute flailing around! Has been thoughtful, great with problem solving, communicative throughout, and took great care in staying with them during the sessions to ensure they’d had everything they needed, especially as one has been incredibly poorly lately. Has earned the trust of my two very finicky and anxious cats. Thank you Sophie!”

“Anna was completely reliable, and very communicative. As someone using the app and leaving their pet alone for the first time, this was very reassuring, and her diligence and care was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend!”

About: I’be taken care of the dogs from the young age. Our family always had the furry friends by our side. I loved to train them and I will happily train your lovely pet 😊 I had an experience with dogs of all ages - from puppies to seniors, so your dog will get a great care no matter their age 🤎 I am a student so I am mostly free on my week. My schedule takes 3 days in a week and most of my work I do home. Me and my partner love to go on a little trips to sea on weekends, so your dog can join us on these adventures! I am a reliable person, I love to be on time for the meetings and sittings. I will listen to all of your instructions of how to take the best care of your fur baby.

About: I go beyond basic care by treating every dog like family—ensuring they feel safe, loved, and engaged. With keen attention to detail, a calm and confident approach, and a genuine passion for animals, I provide personalised care that sets me apart from other sitters. I’m currently doing dog services full time, so I have plenty of time to dedicate to dog walking. This means I’m flexible, reliable, and able to give your dog the attention and care they need whenever it works best for you. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I provide a secure, dog-friendly environment where your pet feels comfortable and cared for. You can count on me to follow routines, watch closely for any signs of stress or discomfort, and treat your dog with the same love and attention I’d give my own.

“thank you :)”

“I have never used this service before, always had a neighbour call in. However due to her illness I needed an alternative. After reading the Rover website I decided to give you a try for a short break. I will definitely be using you again. Belle loved Helen on her initial meet up visit. I knew she would get visits at set regular times. Helen even came early following storms to check she was ok. Belle loves company so she would get plenty of this. She loved her strokes and cuddles. If anything was wrong I knew I would be informed. Such as when she was not eating. I could then offer advice. Seeing daily photos of Belle confirmed she was ok and happy. I even thought she would be disappointed when we came home. Thanks again Helen. We will no doubt see you again.”

About: I have had and taken care of both cats and dogs since the age of 8 for family, friends and neighbours, walking, feeding, playing with and house sitting with animals. I am very comfortable with animals of all shapes and sizes I currently am on summer break and am available every day from morning to night just drop me a message and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible While I do not let pets board in my own home I am always very cautious to follow any instructions given to me on where pets are and are not allowed, making sure to keep them in their designated areas.

About: I've had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember – mostly rescues – and each one has taught me something new about love, patience, and the joy of companionship. While my current circumstances mean I can't have a dog of my own right now, dog sitting lets me share that same care and affection with pups who need a home away from home. I treat every dog like family, offering a calm, loving environment where they feel safe, seen, and thoroughly spoiled. Your dog won’t just be watched – they’ll be genuinely cared for, as if they were my own. I currently work part time, with flexible working arrangements depending on week to week. So in my free time I’d love to share it with your wonderful pets! I love being outside & walking anyway, so a 4 legged companion would make the perfect addition. Caring for dogs in their own home means maintaining their routine, surroundings, and sense of security – which is especially comforting for more sensitive or anxious pets. I take the time to understand each dog’s habits, from feeding schedules to favorite toys and walking routes, so I can offer consistent, personalized care while you’re away. Whether it’s cuddles on the couch, playtime in the garden, or simply keeping them company, I aim to make them feel relaxed and happy in the place they know best. Respecting both your home and your dog’s needs is always my top priority.

About: Hi! I’m a dog lover and proud owner of a sweet cockapoo puppy girl. I have two wonderful kids, ages 5 and 11, and as a family, we adore spending time with dogs. We’re friendly, caring, and love making furry friends feel at home. Your dog will be treated like part of the family with us! (I can provide my DBS check) Currently I’m working part-time and mostly remotely, so I have free time to care about pets and at the same time enjoy their company. I can take dogs for walks or for a night with us. Also cats are welcome and able to explore my home and even climb on curtains (what some of them like so much). I have a private house with a big fenced garden. Pets are allowed on furniture. My family is very friendly and we have a nice park nearby to take dogs for walks. I always tidy up after and keep my home safe and clean.

“We used Molly for 2 drop in sessions to feed our cat while on a weekend away - could not fault her at all! Molly provided excellent care for him and gave us detailed updates, even remembering little details from the meet and greet session, I 100% recommend Molly and will definitely book her again!”

“Eduard was very polite, friendly and professional! This was my first time using Rover and Eduard made sure I felt at ease, sending many updates and photographs of my cat. Highly recommended, will book again in future!”

About: Ive got 8 weekly repeat customers,I've been involved with dogs all my life, ive got a single dog walk experience if required or a pack walk of no more than 5 dogs, and they are all safely secured in my transport to and from the walk I'm now decided to do this full time as I thourghly enjoy working with the dogs,I was a printer most of my working life but I wasn't enjoying it so literally fell in to this job which I love I have a fenced garden plus saltwell park dog pen is 1 minute from my front door if I need it,I would normally take the dogs to the beach or countryside walks

About: I love dogs and I have experience working with them and other animals, such as racehorses. I enjoy building a relationship with animals, especially dogs, and I am sure it will be clear to see that any dogs who stay with me will enjoy their time. They will get plenty of attention in a nice, peaceful, relaxed home. 3 walks daily. I don't have a garden, just a back yard. However, there are great walking opportunities right outside my house. A great alternative to kennels, one on one attention with no other dogs or kids. I work from home daily. I have a lot of flexibility within my job which makes it easy to care for a dog at the same time. One on one, just me and your dog, no loud noises, kids or other animals. Would suit a slightly anxious dog that needs a quiet, relaxing environment, as opposed to going into kennels. I only take one dog at a time, would consider two from the same family however.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats ever since I was born, in total I’ve looked after 3 sausage dogs, a foxhound and a cat called Lucy! I take them on walks, bathe them and give them lots of cuddles I’m currently working part time as a Researcher for Northumbria Police and I work from home (except for Thursdays). My usual shift patterns are 11-3 Monday to Friday (Tues -12:30-16:30). So I have a lot of spare time to look after your furry friends! I have a relatively large front and back garden and I’m happy to take them on walks every couple of hours as I love going on walks for fresh air. I also live 10 minutes away from chase park so happy to let them roam there for a couple of hours to get some fresh air! I don’t mind if they have an accident in the house, which animal doesn’t from time to time! My house is big enough for any type of dog to roam and play and we always make sure the house is clean and nothing that could cause injury is out

About: There’s never been a time in my life where i have not lived without pets. I grew up in a household that was pet crazy with many different pets from hamsters to horses. I have been brought up around very big dog breeds, and also small dog breeds. I moved out from my parents when i was 18 and went on to get my own two large breed dogs and four cats. The house i currently live in is very big and used to be two flats, so conveniently the house can be sectioned off into two still, meaning if your pet doesn’t want to be around mine, that is easily done. I am self employed and work when i like to, so i can fit around and requests that you need for me to take care of your pets:) I can offer many different types of services for your fur babies, whether this be taking them out for multiple walks, having a good play of tug of war with them, letting them play with my pets (completely up to you) or even bathing/ washing them. If your pet has and dietary needs or medication they need, i’m very responsible to take care of that.

“Chris regularly walks my little Sproodle Bonnie and takes her out for such wonderful, long days with her friends. He sends us regular photo updates throughout the day and she always comes back well exercised and ready for a good sleep. As soon as Bonnie hears Chris' voice, her tail starts to wag and we know she just loves him. Chris treats her like one of his family and there really isn't anyone else I would trust with my precious pooch!”
