About: I have grown up and spent my childhood with family pets. Specific experience with larger breeds such as Rottweilers, retrievers, labradors and doodles. Experience includes puppy to senior/elderly dogs and cats, that require specific care for their needs. For example, spending quality time, providing and giving medication, regular drop ins, exercise, and play. I have previously spent a great deal of time being the family “dog sitter” which has opened this new passion for me, looking after furry friends. I currently have a lovely 3 year old labrador, 13 year old labradoodle and a ginger senior cat. All of which I love and spend a lot of time with. I am experienced in caring for friends pets and homes, cats, dogs and fish. Family dogs, old and young, big and small. I have had experience providing medication to larger breeds. I work flexibly from home which allows me to have autonomy of my diary. I am required to go to site a couple of times a month. If you are after weekend availability, please message me directly and I will try to accommodate you the best I can. Daily routine entails waking up to walk my dog, work 9-5 and relax in the evenings with a long walk across the fields. I come from a close family where we spend a lot of time with each other. I love the outdoors and like to spend my free time running, walking and being with nature. When i’m not enjoying nature, i spend a lot of time with my group of friends that i have known from school. We are very closely knit and these valuable friendships have moulded me into the person i am today. I currently still live with my parents, saving to move out somewhere in lovely Gloucestershire, due to this i am unable to offer Boarding, so apologies in advance for the inconvenience. I currently work in the Safety (EHS) profession, in the Telecom industry. Working in Safety ultimately means I understand the legal and moral standards required to keep safety managed and risks mitigated. Which can definitely be applied to looking after your beloved pets 😊 I will care for your animals the way I care my own.

About: Just because you are away doesn't mean your pet can't have fun also, we have an age of experience with our own pets in the past and also having been on the trusted pet sitters web site, where we became the go to people for many, to look after their dogs and homes, now we are again settled after some traveling, we would like to offer our home to your pets whilst you are away. We will give your special ones the same level of care, pampering, walks you do and possibly treats ( as you wont be here ). We absolutely love the outdoors and walking and a furry companion would really enhance these from time to time, we live on the edge of the Forest of Dean and have a great vets in the local town, ensuring all your pets needs are met no matter what. foe the peace of mind you are searching for just give us a shout. My wife is retired and is home all week, I work a four day week and have all my mornings and evenings free, we have a three day weekend to ensure your pet would be our number one priority during their stay with us. We have a lovely enclosed garden and open plan home, where your pet would have free roam, we have a great home, not a show house, so your pet can feel at home during their stay with us, as I have said we are on the edge of the Forest of Dean, with woodland, fields and streams very near by, for shorter walks we have the local lake and woodland five mins walk away. We would work with yourselves to ensure the level of care and attention your pet needs are met, including medications, bathing and dietary.

About: I previously had a husky for ten years who had no recall and was reactive, so I’m used to walking dogs on leads and hiding behind trees if needed! 🙈since I lost my husky last year I’ve looked after friends and family dogs at weekends which have ranged from spaniels to labs to Hungarian vizla. I love having a dog in the house and like to make sure they feel at home and give them lots of attention and walks. I currently work full time in the week so can only offer weekend stays. When I’m home at the weekend there’s nothing more I enjoy then going on dog walks. I have a fully enclosed garden and no pets in the house so any dog would get my full attention and be safe and secure. My garden backs on to fields a plenty for a good place for an adventurous walk.

“Booked Matthew for 6days walking for a 4yr old lurcher. He was reliable ,always turning up on time.ffyn appeared to enjoy his hour long walks and was totally relaxed in the evenings.I would recommend Matthew.”

About: There has never been a time in my life I haven't had a dog as a best friend. I have had many experiences with many different types and characters of dogs. I’ve helped with gun dog training, looking after litters of puppies and elderly dogs. In addition, I have experience in grooming dogs as I have been grooming my own dogs and friends dogs for the last few years. I respect and care for each dog to the highest level possible acting as though they are my own. I’ve just finished my a levels, so I have lots of spare time to look after your pets. Although I work part time I don’t have many hours per week allowing more time to walk or dog sit your dog. I would treat your beloved pet the same way I’d treat my own pets, with respect and attention. I have secure safety harnesses if I need to take them in my car, and I have any equipment necessary for providing your dog with the best level of care.

About: I have raised my cat, Charlie, since he was a kitten in 2016. I also came to love my sister and her husband’s dog, Kody, who sadly passed away this summer. I have also trained puppies and can provide them with proper walking etiquette. I am currently looking for part time work but my schedule is open and I am flexible with my schedule! If your dog needs a walk in the morning, afternoon and night then I would more than willing to accommodate. At this time, I cannot do boarding as I have a cat who is not good with other dogs. I am happy to house sit in your home and have had experience doing so!

About: I have been taking care of other peoples pets (mainly dogs) since I was 15, when I started to walk a neighbours dog, soon other neighbours asked for help with dogs, cats, rabbits and also puppy pop ins and dog sitting. Then 18 years ago I became a dog owner myself. I now work from home so I began to look after friends, family and neighbours dogs. I absolutely love dogs, I treat every dog like they’re my own, even if I’ve just met them for five minutes… I am giving kisses. (only if they want them of course) I have a senior dog myself and I looked after a senior dog for a few years so I have experience in older dog care, also having raised three puppies myself I have some knowledge in puppy care. I can promise lots of love, safety, trust and of course kisses.. with the dogs! 😉 I work from home only for a couple of hours a day and this can be at any point during the day so I am quite flexible. ☺️ My two girls (golden retriever and working cocker) are my best friends so I want the best environment for them, Therefore we have a large fenced grass garden with a 4ft solid wooden gate. We also have a small stone secure back garden which is accessible only through the kitchen. There is plenty of room inside our house for fun, my two girls like to play hide and seek the green beans. There is plenty of room for a crate if you would like your dog to be in one. There is also a second lounge which is used as a safe space and quiet room for new furry guests if they are feeling overwhelmed when they first arrived. There are lots of walks on my doorstep, great for doggies who don’t like to travel in the car (I have one of those) for those who do travel well we occasionally go to a wood which has lots of great sniffs and is only 10 minutes away and sometimes I hire a secure field 15 minutes away which has agility equipment and lots of space to run. My dogs are free to roam the house and are allowed on the sofas, your doggie whilst at our home will be treated like mine unless you say otherwise regarding sofas, upstairs etc. As for house sitting… I was a babysitter from the ages of 15 - 25 (and did some long weekend stays), I also cleaned at a couple of private houses whilst I was studying and I have been a house-sitter occasionally.. therefore I am very aware of respectful behaviour when in someone else’s house. I will not share your location or any information regarding your home with anyone. And I take my shoes off when I come into your house. ☺️

About: I have hands on experience caring for a range of pets. I currently have two pups, an energetic, young (and very greedy) chocolate lab called pickle and my polite senior shih tzu called chops, who I have cared for since they were puppies. My family and friends always rely on me to look after their pets as I always jump at the offer! I treat my animals as if they were part of the family, with love and compassion. I also have experience looking after cats, bunnies and chickens ❤️ I am currently working for a hospitality agency which means I pick and choose my shifts alongside up cycling a caravan which I do from home when I can. I have just finished a pretty intense university degree (in architecture) so am at a point where I am happy to be relaxing at home with the dogs and just looking for something to keep me busy (that doesn’t involve architecture)! I have just got back from travelling around South America and volunteering at a dog shelter in Peru - looking to fill my summer at home with some more animals before I head to uni for my masters in october. You will be staying with my two fur babies: pickle and chops, who are very friendly and great with other dogs - both quite submissive in nature and will give you space if you need it. I have a large secure fenced garden next to the beautiful forest where we go for daily long walks. Chops is a senior boy so a walk around our land is even enough for him most of the time. I live with my parents who work 9-5 but are also dog lovers and can help me out on weekends. I enjoy walking with the dogs but equally enjoy a chilled out snuggle on the sofa!

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover who grew up with dogs — taking them on walks, playing fetch, teaching them tricks, and attending training classes. For the past two years, I regularly looked after my best friend’s dog, and I also care for other dogs during holiday periods. Although I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I am a real homebody who loves a cosy, calm environment — perfect for dogs who enjoy a peaceful home. I also love borrowing my partner’s parents’ Golden Retriever, Merlin, on weekends for short walks and playtime in the garden (he’s getting a little older now, so I have to take it easy with him!). There are no children in the home, and I have a secure outdoor space that visiting dogs can enjoy. I live in a beautiful area with lots of fantastic walking routes and am excited to find a lovely dog to take on walks and welcome into my home. I’m usually available on weekday evenings,Fridays all day, weekends, and during holidays. Your dog will be treated like part of the family with plenty of love, attention, and care! I work Monday to Thursday but have Fridays off, as well as weekends and holidays — which gives me plenty of time to give your dog the love, attention, and care they deserve. Your dog will be welcomed into a calm, loving home with no children or other pets around, making it ideal for dogs who prefer a quieter environment. We have a secure, fenced yard where they can safely enjoy some fresh air and playtime. I make sure they get plenty of attention, regular walks, and lots of affection — just as I would treat my own dog.

“Thank you !”

About: Myself and my partner Mike have had dogs our whole lives growing up, and have been owners of our own rescue Border Collie for the past two years. We trained her from a puppy so have experience in doing so. Mike has also had cats for his whole life, as well as us both cat-sitting for family on several occasions. We also have experience with sitting for reactive dogs, and helping to manage these behaviours. We struggled to find a sitter for Ivy for a long time who provided everything we wanted for her, so now we are hoping to be able to provide that for other people. Always happy to answer any question or query. Completely open to catering to all schedules as we both work from home, so are able to fit our lives around any dogs we have to stay (which is exactly what we do for our own!), with regard to walks, play time, food, toilet time. We have a fenced back garden & our own 2 year old Border Collie, so everything in the house is dog proofed for her! She loves having a play mate & we will always make sure the dogs are introduced correctly beforehand (following a protocol we have learned through extensive dog training sessions) to ensure that our pups will enjoy their time together. Ivy is always excited to meet new playmates!

About: With over 15 years of experience, I specialise in caring for and training dogs of all sizes to an advanced standard. My expertise extends beyond routine care; I have a particular knack for training puppies, providing specialised attention to senior dogs, and managing lead-reactive dogs. My comprehensive approach to these challenges involves proven training techniques and a deep understanding of canine behaviour. This unique combination of skills enables me to address the specific needs of each pet, ensuring their well-being and helping them to overcome behavioural issues. Pet care is an integral part of my daily routine, seamlessly blending with my personal and professional life. Each day, I allocate specific time slots dedicated to pet care activities, ensuring that the pets I look after receive consistent and attentive care. Mornings typically begin with feeding and walking, setting a positive tone for the day. Throughout the day, I schedule regular check-ins, playtime, and training sessions, tailored to each pet’s needs. I also maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate pet sitting at clients’ homes, understanding that each pet’s requirements and routines might differ. On a weekly basis, I dedicate time for more extended activities like longer walks, trips to a dog park, or special training sessions. This routine not only ensures that the pets are well-cared for but also allows me to manage my time effectively. In addition, I stay prepared for emergency situations or unexpected changes in the schedule. My commitment to pet care is unwavering, and I always prioritize the health and happiness of the pets in my care, ensuring they receive the best possible attention every day. When caring for pets in their owner’s home, my focus is on maintaining the pet’s regular routine in their familiar environment. This minimises stress and anxiety for the pet. I follow the owner’s specific instructions for feeding, walking, and any medication schedules. I also ensure the home is secure and respect the owner’s privacy. Regular updates and photos are provided to the owner to assure them of their pet’s well-being. When it comes to walking dogs, their safety and enjoyment are my top priorities. I always assess the dog’s temperament and physical ability to determine the best route and duration for their walks. For lead-reactive dogs or those with specific behavioural needs, I choose quieter routes to avoid stressful encounters. I use sturdy, appropriate leashes and harnesses to ensure control and comfort. During walks, I remain vigilant about their surroundings, avoiding potential hazards like aggressive animals or unsafe areas. I also carry water, treats, and first-aid essentials to address their needs promptly. My goal is to make each walk a positive and safe experience, allowing the dogs to explore and exercise in a secure manner. This unique combination of skills enables me to address the specific needs of each pet, ensuring their well-being and helping them to overcome behavioural issues. This dedication to addressing complex canine behaviours sets me apart in the field of pet sitting.”

Andrew L.
“Andy really loves dogs and is great at taking care of animals. He’s kind, responsible, and always makes sure pets are happy and healthy. One of his favourite things to do is go on walks with dogs—no matter the weather. He enjoys spending time with them, playing, exploring, and keeping a regular routine, which helps the dogs stay active and feel loved.”

Rebecca R.
“Becky is a loving, caring and responsible person in many ways. She has had dogs of her own and in my opinion would be a very good dog carer. She has looked after three of my dogs over the years and I trust her implicitly. I recommend her without hesitation.”

Matthew G.Star Sitter

“Booked Matthew for 6days walking for a 4yr old lurcher. He was reliable ,always turning up on time.ffyn appeared to enjoy his hour long walks and was totally relaxed in the evenings.I would recommend Matthew.”

Poppy S.
“We needed a last-minute sitter for our dog, and thankfully, Poppy was available! She stepped in on short notice and was so flexible and understanding. Daisy warmed up to her right away, and we loved getting daily updates and cute pics 😍 Cannot recommend highly enough - Thank you!!”

Chloe M.
“Chloe has been caring for animals for most of her life. She’s always been passionate about animals from a young age. She’s is a sensible, caring and attentive individual. She has looked after animals of all descriptions and she cares and looks after for her own two dogs very well indeed. I would highly recommend Chloe to look after anybody’s pets.”

Marlee B.
“Marlee was so great with our little Kody. She took him on walks everyday and would occasionally stay with him while we were out of town. He always had a smile on his face when Marlee was around. She genuinely cared about the well-being and happiness of our fur baby. She never missed a scheduled walk and was always willing to accommodate last minute changes. We felt at ease knowing Kody was in the right hands! Her communication was fantastic too. Would always send us updates and photos of Kody- it felt as if we were right there with them. If you’re looking for a dedicated, trustworthy and compassionate person, look no further! Marlee is amazing!”

Chenai E.
“I cannot recommend Chenai enough for pet sitting! As an owner of chinchillas I find there can be a lack of knowledge in the animal industry on how to properly care for them. This being said Chenai was very confident and had perfect understanding. She cared for my cat, chinchillas and fish with daily photo updates keeping my mind at ease. My cat, who can take a while to warm to new people, absolutely loves her! I will always use Chenai now, would recommend to anyone with diverse or shy pets :)”

Charlotte N.
“Charlotte has always been an animal lover. She is caring, responsible, honest and reliable. I would feel reassured to know she was looking after one of my pets.”

Sidonie C.
“Sidonie is a great dog walker! She has walked my German Shepard Cleo many times and has been incredible every time! She can handle any dog ranging from smaller dogs like daschunds and pugs to German shepherds or spaniels. Would highly recommend sidonie as your dog walker. She truly loves dogs and takes amazing care of them. All dogs feel very content when walking with her and listen as she takes great control of the walk.”

Molly takes the dogs to lots of different interesting places, and provides plenty of photos and video updates via her social media. Echo always looks super happy and comes home tired, which is nice for us!!”

Rebecca G.
“Becky is always so happy when she comes to take our dog Poppy out for a walk and I am pleased to say Poppy is just as happy. She is a nervous little dog but Becky is good at taking her places with limited interactions but lots of fun. (we live in a neighbouring village so she knows the area well) Poppy has been to Becky’s house twice now for a weekend and has had a lovely time, we had several meetings with her lovely dogs and then at her house prior to Poppy staying to help her settle due to her nervousness, Becky’s dogs were so good with Poppy after the initial (and natural) excitement they realised Poppy was a ‘quiet one’ so just let her be and apparently was like that all weekend, another relief. We are very happy with the care Poppy receives.”

Jade M.
“A Fantastic Dog Caretaker! An exceptional dog caretaker! Their love for dogs shines through in everything they do. They’re incredibly patient, responsible, and attentive to each dog's needs. Whether it's feeding, walking, or playtime, they make sure every dog feels happy and loved. What really stands out is their ability to understand dogs' individual personalities. They know when a dog needs extra cuddles or a little space, and their calm and caring approach to every situation is amazing. If you’re looking for someone to care for your furry friends as if they were their own, I couldn’t recommend them more. Your dogs will be in the best hands!”

Thomas C.
