About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a child, having grown up in a house with a golden retriever, a Norfolk terrier, a Welsh springer spaniel and two labradors! About: My family have had dogs and cats my whole life and from a young age i was primarily responsible for the feeding and walking schedule of our beloved pets. Additionally, friends and family have trusted me to walk dogs, dog sit and cat sit their pets as i’m known to be responsible and caring. I have been responsible for a range of dogs in the past ranging from relaxed senior shi tzus to young hyper springer spaniels . I am currently a student on summer break waiting to go to university in late September, hence my time has been totally freed up and would love nothing more but to spend this time with furry friends. My time is very flexible for the coming months. And on University breaks i will also be back home and available. I have a fenced back garden with a locked gate that leads onto a quiet lane, leading to a calm and relaxed environment perfect for dogs to settle into.

About: I have cared and looked after my Cockapoo, Peggy, since she was a puppy (she is now 5 years old). I have trained her basic behavioural skills and recalls and as a result she is a well natured, placid dog. Since January this year I have also been looking after a new Puppy in our house who is also a cockapoo, which although proving challenging at times, is very rewarding. I am therefore experienced in caring for both adult dogs and pups alike. I also walk neighbours or friends dogs when they are away or unable to take their dog out. I study English Literature at the University of York and I am currently home for the summer. I am free all day Monday to Friday and looking after pets, as well as being a passion of mine, will help fill my days. I live in an animal loving household and currently spend my own weekdays looking after 2 dogs (taking them on long walks on a local field daily), 2 budgies and a Gecko. Therefore, I feel experienced enough to be granted the trust to look after other pets.

I work part time and sometimes from home, so if I have a free or half day I can easily nip out to take your four legged friend for a nice long walk (or short one for old or less abled dogs) or I can make sure they are let out for a toilet break.
