“I was hesitant to use rover as my cats are my world & wasn’t keen on a stranger looking after them. Jamie was amazing start to finish. He came by before our booking & instantly put us at ease. His laid back presence was a hit with my cats who usually don’t let strangers anywhere near them. We got picture updates which I was very grateful for & could see he got along with them just fine. About: My partner Chris and I have both had dogs in our families from being children. We recently lost our beautiful boxer nina and still have a lot of love and time to give to dogs until we feel ready to get another dog of our own. We have experience with rescue dogs and family pets, from puppies to senior dogs. We look forward to hearing from you and meeting your four legged friend 🧡😊 Chris and I both work full time through the week but have availability on weekends and Mondays are my rest days so we are happy to help during these times. I may be able to accommodate a later drop off for boarding on Friday's after work from 6pm on occasion. Please message me to discuss if this is required. We have a secure garden and live by a field and dog walking area. Your dog would spend time with us in our home. We keep a tidy home and would therefore treat any owners home with the same care and respect if house sitting. We will only take one dog in at a time unless from the same household for your peace of mind. We want your pet to feel completely at home with us !

About: Hi! I’m a 3rd year Biology student with a lifelong love for animals. I’ve had a dog all my life and I’ve looked after cats, hamsters and rabbits. I’ve had experience looking after friends dogs as well as working in a cattery for two years to assist with cat care. I understand the need to find somebody you trust with your pets and I treat every animal as if they were my own. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding, playtime, or giving meds, I’m here to help your pet feel happy and safe while you’re away. As a University Student I have a very flexible schedule. I am free every weekend and every evening to help care for your pet. As well as this, over Summer I have a fully open schedule to care for your pets. This will allow me to complete drop in visits and overnight care depending on what you and your pet require. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow the specific routines and instructions you provide, whether it’s for feeding, medications, or walks. I make sure pets are always supervised and never put in unsafe situations. I take time to build trust with each animal so they feel calm and secure with me. I’m gentle, patient, and attentive to their needs - whether that means a quiet cuddle or an energetic play session. I will always respect your home when sitting there and keep doors locked, leashes secure, and never leave pets unsupervised outside. You’ll get regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away!

I usually only ask a friend who knows the dogs well to look after them as Phoebe is deaf and has Dementia, Maggie is very over the top and Frankie can be too rough with both the girls but especially with Phoebe. I knew straight away that they would be fine with Rebecca. I had to attend an all day event and booked 2 drop in visits. Rebecca took photos and gave me updates. When I arrived home I think the dogs were disappointed it was me and not Rebecca!”

About: I have owned and cared for dogs, cats, fish, frogs, and mice for over 15 years. I've cared for (and sometimes helped train) pets owned by roommates, landlords, and family members. I have handled animals with a wide range of dietary and behavioral needs, including traumatized animals. I also have a scientific background in pet care! I am a biologist by education, and recently finished an internship at a behavioral research center, where I worked closely with dog pups, recording their interactions and helping the trainers when things got a bit too aggressive. My work is part-time, remove, and flexible, so I am pretty available during the week (Monday-Friday). I have commitments most weekends (Sat-Sun) but may be available on a case-by-case basis. I prioritize boundaries and communication when in someone else's space. I want you to know exactly what is happening with your home and your pet so you can feel safe and secure. I am loving with animals but believe in training and setting boundaries. This occasionally calls for a firm scruffing (with your permission), but I will never hit or otherwise cause physical pain to your animal, nor will I tease or neglect them.

About: I have been fond of animals since childhood, and I have a lot of experience in raising cats and dogs, and I have also raised a lot of fish. I enjoy spending time with animals! About: I've been around animals my whole life, growing up with a large dog and later caring regularly for friends' dogs—and even the occasional rabbit. I'm now the proud owner of a 4-year-old Cocker Spaniel named Jinx and a playful Oriental Shorthair cat named Luna. Caring for animals is second nature to me, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I go on daily walks and love exploring woodlands and beaches—because, let’s be honest, what’s life to a Spaniel without a daily swim? I currently work weekends, so I’m available most weekdays and would be thrilled to have your dog join Jinx and me on our everyday adventures! I have a reasonable sized, fenced garden. Pets are allowed on furniture/beds. Toilet breaks can be as needed. Regular walks and playtime are a guarantee.

About: I’ve been surrounded by all types of cats and dogs for as long as I can remember and have always revelled in taking great care of them. I'm currently training my own family dog, she's a sweet natured rescue dog from Romania and it's been so rewarding seeing her progress so quickly, especially with learning English! I’m currently a student at Durham Uni so will only be able to work in the holidays (longer than school holidays). I'll always try to work around you and flex my availability wherever possible. Also happy to give discounts for repeat services! I'm very patient with dogs and always take things at their pace, so as not to overwhelm them in any way. About: I have taken care of dogs of every kind for 13+ years now. Neighbours, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, check in on them, their medical needs, bath and play with their pets. I have had the opportunity to grow up a cocker spaniard and a pomeranian. I had a chance to care for the cocker spaniard while having 2 cats at home. In addition to the above, I have cared for and been a sitter for turtle, tortoise, australian parrots, lovebirds, mice and hamsters. I am free on weekends and I am mostly in town due to my university classes. My classes only take place on Tuesday 2-6pm and Thursday 9am-1pm , rest of the week, I would be available to care for and sit for various pets. I can connect with dogs, cats and other pets on personal and emotional level and care for their every need and I can have a positive environment such that we can enjoy each other's company even in shorter span of time. My presence and personality is friendly and non-frightening to all kinds of dogs, cats and any all other pets. I can cohabit with any kind of pets in a peaceful, happy and playful manner.
