“Holly dropped in for an hour to look after our dog Kaja. She was very quick to respond & arrived on time and sent lots of pictures. Kaja was very happy when we got back! I would definitely recommend to anyone!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs small and large unofficially since I was little, but officially became a dog walker a year and a half ago. I’ve had dogs stay at my house, bathed them, walked them, fed them, as well as stayed at dog owners house who felt more comfortable leaving the dog in an environment which they felt safe in. All in all I love having a dog around. I’m currently working part time, I’ve just come back from Ireland which I was working over there and dog walking / sitting there, so would be free days / lunch times / evenings and most nights. I have a large garden at my house, which I will let the dog wonder around in if I can trust it to have good recall. I don’t let dogs off the lead anyway until they’ve gotten to know me and I them, but I have a very dog friendly house which dogs I’ve dog sat for in the past have been very content in. And obviously if I’m dog sitting at someone’s home I am neat, and just ask about the dogs normal routine to try and relax the dog as much as I can when you, the owner can’t be there.

“Corben took good care of my cat, ensuring he spent time playing with him and encouraging him to go out. Kept in contact with photos and messages. Left the house clean and tidy and I woukd be more than happy to book him again.”

About: I have grown up with pets, every shape and size! From gerbils, Guinea pigs, chickens, ducks, cats, dogs, horses and cockatiels. At home now we have 3 beautiful collies, horses, chickens and the cockatiel. I have done numerous pet sitting jobs across Cornwall my most common is for a couple in liskeard who have a 14yo spaniel and 2 cats. They require medication and frequent walks or toilet breaks from being the true puppy and kittens they think they are. I have had experience with puppies as our collies have all been puppies when we got them and I have helped raise them into the beautiful and clever pets they are now. I work full time Tuesday to Friday but I have my evenings free Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and days off Saturday and Sunday. If required, I may be able to get a day off to help cover a period of sitting. I drive so distance isn’t normally an issue. I will always do my best to be punctual and keep with any feeding schedules required. I will follow any dedicated instructions for how you want your pet cared for. Boundaries are there for pets too, so I will always be sure to do my up most to keep them calm, comfortable and safe during my time with them. I understand not every pet wants to be fussed so space is always key to meeting a new fluffy friend. But if your pet may be wary of strangers, just let me know and I’ll happily accommodate that.

About: I would love to help take care of dogs and cats, I really value the company of animals and delight in their presence (often getting very distracted by cute pets during convos!!).I have had dogs ands cats in my life since I was a baby and currently there 2 dogs within my own family - a toy poodle and a cockapoo. I have done some dog sitting/dog walking for friends and family over my whole adult life. I don't have formal experience as a pet sitter but I have worked other roles including as a care worker for elderly people, which means that I am reliable, trustworthy, always on time and also understand how to handle complex or emergency siutations. I am also an empath with high emotional intelligence and my sense of being able to read a room applies to pets as well, I pick up on how they are feeling and often people tell me that their pets gravitate towards me. My friend has told me I must have a good energy so I hope that even without formal experience, my ability to understand what pets need, life experience and experience with informal pet care for friends and family stands me in good stead. I have not got a dog myself as yet but I would love one, one day when it was right for me and the pup (I would love any dog but do have s soft spot for corgis!) I do have a cuddly and lovely senior cat - he has a heart condition and asthma so I have administered medication to him everyday for over 10 years including an inhaler so I am very well able to deal with pets meds and understand that for owners it can be very stressful to worry if someone is giving them the meds in the right way - I am here to help with that peace of mind. I do have experience with a dog that has had resource guarding issues and can be very anxious, so again having looked after him, I have learnt how to read his cues, give him his space and make sure he feels safe and comfortable. I also am used to dealing with reactive dogs and again will always make sure I give them the boundaries and space needed, whilst being also being affectionate or comforting presence. I wouldn't be able to host dogs in my own home but more than happy to go to owners homes. I look forward to meeting you and your lovely pets :) I work from home full time but I do have time to pop out if close by in the day and also at evenings and weekends. Happy to take dogs on walks during lunch hours as well and early morning before work starts - I can definitely have that conversation based on individual needs and flex to help where I can. I currently couldn't take care of pets in my home but if needed I can look at helping within a pet owners home. I am very clear, as with the care work I did, that I would always enter a home quietly and carefully as to not upset the pet, make sure I knew everything I needed to do so that I am not creating further stress whilst being friendly and approachable for any dog or cat. I will not open any doors/windows unless needed, and I will always double check I have locked the house if owners are not around. Also on dog walks I would prefer to have dogs that are happy to be on the lead, as even if their recall is good, I would not feel comfortable letting them off in case.

About: I’ve grown up around animals and have always loved having them in my life—dogs, cats, and even the odd hamster or two. They’ve been a big part of my day-to-day, bringing plenty of joy, comfort, and a bit of mischief along the way. Looking after animals doesn’t feel like a job to me—it’s something I truly enjoy. As a new (and expecting!) mum, I’m now offering pet sitting that fits around caring for my little one. I know how important it is to leave your pets with someone you can trust. I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I give my own, but it’s important they’re happy to be around a toddler. Whether it’s popping in for a cuddle and feed, or keeping them company while you’re away, I’ll make sure your pets are safe, happy, and well looked after. My pet sitting schedule is designed to be flexible, whilst accommodating my toddler's needs. This means I can provide attentive care for your pets while ensuring I’m always available for my little one. Whether it’s taking them for a walk around her nap time or giving them some extra love while my baby plays nearby, I strive to create a comfortable environment for both your pets and my child. I am able to petsit at mine but my garden is not totally secure hence why I have selected 'no garden'. I am able to take out the back on a lead and there is a lane I can walk them for poos and wees. I prioritize your pets' safety and comfort above all else. However, I am also comfortable offering day care services at your house. I will create a secure and trusting environment, ensuring that your furry family members feel at ease while you're away. I’ll follow your established routines, keep them safe indoors, and maintain a watchful eye to guarantee their well-being.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was 14. I’ve dog sitted, walked neighbours dogs, and owned dogs myself. I have a great passion for the care of animals having worked on a farm for 3 years when I was 11. I also love the outdoors and love to explore with dogs! I’m currently a student at Falmouth university. I can walk mornings and evenings. I’m happy to do big long walks on weekends and I can drive to nice places. I care for my dog at home by taking it on nice long walks also allowing a nice balance of rest time for them. With other dogs I spend time with learning what care they like best and how I should approach my time spent with them.

“Gabi was helpful, punctual, friendly, and the cats warmed to her very quickly. The house was left in perfect condition, and Gabi liaised with us daily with updates about the cats. We will definitely book with Gabi again. Thank you!”

“Kyal has been amazing and coming In to see our puppy dachshund Nevill. Really good at communicating and keeping in contact, really easy to get hold of. Super reliable and would absolutely recommend. Myself and my partner plan to book Kyal for the future!”

About: Hi there! My name is Megan I am 30 years old, I own Paws Express Cornwall. - I also offer kennelling at a lower rate so please contact me! We live on our family farm and so your dog will have acres of fields to explore, we also have a secure paddock . We are very close to crantock beach too! 🏖️ I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life and currently share my home with four of them — so caring for animals is truly second nature to me. I’ve had hands-on experience with many different breeds, sizes, and temperaments, and I’m confident handling everything from tiny terriers to large working breeds. I also worked as a dog trainer for a couple of years, which gave me a strong understanding of canine behaviour and how to handle dogs calmly and confidently, even in more challenging situations. Whether your dog is full of energy, a bit anxious, or just needs a little extra care, I’ve likely worked with one just like them. I treat every dog like one of my own, with patience, love, and plenty of attention. 🐶❤️ I’m currently on maternity leave, which means I have plenty of flexibility during the day to care for your dog. I have a 7 month-old son who’s grown up around dogs and is very comfortable being around them — and my own dogs are a big part of our daily routine. When possible, he may come along with me on walks or drop-in visits, but if your dog isn’t comfortable with children, that’s absolutely no problem — I can easily arrange for someone to look after him while I care for your pet. Your dog’s comfort and needs always come first. 🐾 I’m available most weekdays for dog walking, letting-out visits, and daytime company, and I’m happy to chat about the best routine for your dog. I live on a spacious and secure farm, which means your dog will have plenty of fresh air, room to play, and a calm countryside setting. I have a secure paddock where dogs can safely enjoy off-lead time, sniff around, and stretch their legs. If you’re interested in home boarding or longer stays, dogs are welcome to live in the house with us as part of the family — or stay in our comfortable kennel setup, depending on what suits your dog best. I currently have four friendly female dogs, so any visiting dogs would need to get along with them for home stays. I’m a very kind, patient, and trustworthy person who genuinely cares about each animal I meet. Your dog’s safety and happiness are always my top priorities.

About: I’ve had dogs in my life since an early age, I grew up with dogs and have since had two of my own. I have experience training puppies and caring for senior dogs, and everything in between! I love dogs and all their quirks. I can be there for outgoing or shy and anxious doggies. Reach out to me if you’d like to chat about your furry friend :) I am currently working as a freelancer, so I have plenty of time and flexibility to fit your furry pal into my day. Just let me know what they need! I have a fenced garden and a very friendly dog of my own to keep your dog company, alternatively I can walk your dog on their own or come and visit them at your home. Whatever works best for them!

Fitness is important to me and don’t mind going above and beyond for your pets needs through exercise if required. I reside in the St Austell area and drive 15 mile radius from Truro ideally. Only do house sitting services if we meet prior and I see your home beforehand. Typically I board in my own home. I have a fully fenced yard and can easily accommodate your wishes whether it be at the pets house or mine I am flexible with whatever is best for you.

“Zoey has been fantastic with Tia and Skye ✨. She sends daily updates with pictures to let us know how they were getting on. I knew after meeting Zoey that she would be more than capable, and she has really put me at ease knowing my cats are well cared for while I was away. Zoey is attentive to your pets needs and really is a great choice for anyone looking for a great pet sitter :). Would highly recommend!”

About: I have grown up with many animals and always was drawn to them with friendliness and compassion. I currently have two cats who have travelled across the world with me and been to 11 countries. As I recently moved to Truro, I'm looking to help others with their pets when they are away to ensure peace of mind and happy pets! I work from home so can be flexible with your schedule and pets needs. Whether its a pop in visit or a longer stay. I will need a bit of notice before accepting requests. I am kind, friendly and attentive to animal needs and want to make sure they are well kept and very happy. With a lifetime of experience with animals I will ensure that your pet is in the best hands.

About: I’ve taken care of my family dog for the past 8 years while also dog sitting for neighbours. They have all said I have been a friendly and supportive help. I’m currently home for the summer from Uni which allows for a lot of free time and flexibility for weekdays as well as meaning I am free to work at weekends. I am a diligent and careful pet carer that takes every precaution needed and stays vigilant when working. I am always respectful of the home I visit and leave it just as I found it.

About: Although I don't have specific experience in a professional capacity , I absolutely adore dogs and cats, and am always called upon by friends to look after their pets, whether that is sitting for them, talking them out for walks, or feeding them. I work part time, but welcome the chance to get out and check on pets and get them out for their walkies whilst exploring the local area. I am happy to work with specific needs of the pet owners to ensure the best care for their pets, whether that is just cuddling or playing with the pet in their own familiar environment or taking them out to explore.

“Jenny was great! My cat Bruce seemed to settle in really well with her visiting and was very happy when I got back. The overall communication was great, will definitely be going back to her again the next time I’m away!”

About: Hi, I’m Theo George — a reliable and passionate dog carer based in Newquay and Truro with years of hands-on experience. I run the online delivery side of my family business, Cornwall Canine Centre, and I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life — from small Yorkies to champion Great Danes. My mum’s been a professional breeder and Crufts winner for over 20 years, and I’ve grown up helping with grooming, walking, training, raw food feeding, and everything in between. I know how to handle all kinds of dogs — nervous, hyper, giant breeds, seniors, puppies — you name it. I may only be 18, but don’t let that fool you. I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs — literally. My mum is a professional breeder and dog show expert, and at one point, we had 36 dogs on our property (not including puppies!). From a young age, I’ve been hands-on with walking, feeding, grooming, and even caring for newborn litters. I’m calm, confident, and mature beyond my age — especially when it comes to dogs. Ever since I was 8 I used to compete in Champion shows with my mum around the whole of UK, I’ve been to places like Birmingham where I’ve competed in Crufts, been to Wales, Scotland. Ever since I was young my neighbours and friends will rely on me to look after their canine pets, walking, sitting and I know it’s not a flex but I’ve been in many scenarios where dogs have got into awful fights and I’ve had to break it up, put stitches on open wounds in them after where things have been bloody, my parents trust me a lot of on these situations even after growing up in a butchers where I’ve seen horrific stuff. I’m not these dog walkers where if there dog is in a fight they panic. I just stay calm and composed and break it up. So you can always rely on me. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I currently live with my parents, and we’ve always had dogs in the house — so I’m constantly walking and looking after them whenever I have free time, doing little road trips in my van. Monday to Friday, I’m at college during the day and running the online side of my family dog business in the evenings, so I’m unavailable for daytime bookings during the week. However, I can offer house sitting overnight or evening visits between 8pm–10pm if needed. On Saturdays, I’m available from 1pm onwards for dog walking, sitting, or quick pop-ins to let dogs out. Sundays I’m fully free and available all day for the same services. When caring for dogs, whether in my own home or a pet owner’s, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and fun environment that suits the dog’s personality and needs. Personally, at home, I let our dogs out in our secure garden throughout the day so they can run around freely and burn off energy at their own pace. I also take them on beach walks or field runs, which keeps them active and content — after that, they usually relax and sleep for most of the day. I feed my own dogs a raw food diet because of the many health benefits I’ve seen over the years — shinier coats, better digestion, and more energy. That said, I always respect each dog’s usual routine and diet, and I’m happy to prepare kibble, raw food, or any other special requirements you provide. I’m big on structure, positive energy, and being hands-on. I’ll give your dog proper exercise, attention, and supervision — not just sit around scrolling on my phone. If I’m in your home, I’ll treat it with respect and care just like I do with the dogs. I’m also happy to give medication, deal with special feeding needs, or help with basic training commands like sit, stay, or lead control. If anything unexpected ever happens, I stay calm and act quickly — I’ve dealt with fights, injuries, and emergencies before, and I always put the dog’s safety first. If I look after your canine on a consistent basis, I’d be happy to offer you a 10% discount on any of our Cornwall Canine Centre deliveries — whether it’s raw food, treats, or other essentials. It’s my way of saying thanks and making your life a little easier

Carey T.
“I've known Carey for over a decade, and I can’t think of anyone more caring, reliable and attentive when it comes to looking after animals. Carey has a natural way with pets — she's patient, loving and genuinely tuned in to their needs — and she's always been obsessed with corgis! Anyone would be lucky to have her look after their furry family members!”

Elishia N.
“Elisha has previously looked after our 4 year old, very energetic Border Collie, Milly. Milly is a nervous pup and struggles to bond with others so for this reason we were nervous to leave her with anyone. We met with Elisha and Milly instantly fell in love. We felt very secure in leaving Milly whilst we went away, knowing she would be well looked after and cared for. Elisha kept in touch throughout, updating us with pictures and messages so we knew our girl was okay, especially whilst out exploring! We’ve consequently asked Elisha to watch Milly throughout the day whilst we both work long shifts. Elisha is adored by Milly, who makes her feel safe, loved and spoilt which is huge progress for us. Would highly recommend Elisha when looking after your pets!!”

Ruby J.Star Sitter
