“Sophie was so friendly and relaxed and kept me up to date with photos & videos. She took it seriously & made me feel comfortable, she has a lovely family too. My dog was so keen to return & didn’t want to leave! Will definitely book again in the future - thank you!!”

“5-Star Review for Our Amazing Dog Sitter! I can't say enough good things about our experience with Ruben! From the moment we met, it was clear that he truly love and understand dogs. Our baby Chino can be a little shy around new people, but they bonded almost instantly. That alone gave us such peace of mind. Throughout the stay, Ruben sent regular updates, including pictures and videos that showed Chino happy, relaxed, and clearly enjoying their time. Playtime looked like a blast! If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, and genuinely caring, we wholeheartedly recommend Ruben. He is the kind of person you hope to find but rarely do. We'll definitely be booking again!”

“Charlotte was lovely and very professional. Like most lurchers, she can be a little emotional & sensitive at times, but settled in really well and was more then happy to trott into Charlotte's without a care. Lu got lots of playtime and walks and I would not hesitate to recommend Charlotte as a trusted and proficient pet carer.”

About: I have had dogs since childhood. I am pretty good at lead training and I think success comes with kindness, not harshness that just scares them. I have a dog myself. I work from home as and when so no dog gets left for more than the occasional hour. My own dog is 11, very laid back and great with other dogs. Any dog in my home has free run of the flat and garden. They are allowed on sofas and my bed, if that's what they are used to in their own home. I live a stones throw from Southbourne clifftop/beach. This is where my dog, and any dogs in my care will be walked on a daily basis. I am more than happy to walk your higher energy/younger dog twice a day. I have a fenced in garden. It's not possible to get in or out except through the 2 sets of 6ft gates or through the flat. There is a garden at the front and we live on a mostly quiet residential road. Any dogs will always be on the lead before we leave the property.

About: I grew up with dogs at home from a very young age and have owned my own dogs in adulthood including many breeds ranging from labradors to dachshunds. I am retired so at home a lot and love walking dogs, however am unable to make a full time commitment to a dog of my own. I have a big garden which is securely fenced. 2 sets of bifold doors to allow dogs to freely run inside or out. I don't have any pets of my own currently.

“Ralph had a fantastic day with Annabelle! She was so lovely and welcoming. Annabelle kept me updated throughout the day with messages and photos, sharing what they got up to and how their walk went. It was such a comfort knowing Ralph was in great hands. Highly recommend 😃”

“Alicia took great care of Lily and welcomed her into her home, Lily had a lovely day and we will definitely be booking her in again when we next need Lily looking after. Thank you!”

About: I currently have a little Cavachon, called Daisy 🐶 We have a very happy, dog-friendly home just 5 minutes walk from boscombe beach. We are down there most mornings and evenings! 🌊 Daisy loves other dogs and we often care for friends’ dogs informally. Since this is so enjoyable for the two of us, we decided to make an account here and make new furry friends! 🤗 I work from home during the week so I’m always about for the dogs. No ask is too much; I wait on them hand and foot 🫶🏼 I am happy to collect and drop off any dogs in a 5km radius. As someone that occasionally needs dog care myself, I know what a help this can be 🚘 As a treat, I simply love getting Daisy a doggy ice cream or doggy doughnut from our local cafes. With your permission I would treat your dog as if he/she were my own for the duration of sitting 🐶 🍦 I work from home Monday-Friday, so am available for care on these traditional working days. I have plenty of time to take the dogs out for the toilet and longer walks as required throughout the day. I live alone - meaning the dogs are my main focus when in my care 🥰 I will closely follow your instructions regarding care to ensure your dog is safe and comfortable, and you are reassured that your dog is getting the care it needs. As a dog mum myself, I know how important it is to share key information to ensure the sitter is confident in caring for my pooch. I will pay particular attention to information around social skills (e.g. with other dogs, humans, birds, etc.), on/off lead ability, food/drink needs, and other specific information about your pooch 🐶

About: I was caring over animals and pets since was a child. With 5 siblings we always had many pets at home. From guinea pigs to cats and dogs. Now I’m proud owner of dog Rocky, little morkie (half yorkie, half maltese) Not working at the moment, happy to look after your pets. My dog is friendly and trained. He’s happy to share my laps :) love long walks at the beach or forest. Always plenty time to play and take your dog for long walks. Safe environment with little garden. Living next to a park and massive fields.

About: I have had dogs all my life and want to provide a space where your pets feel happy and safe whilst you are away. We live close to the beach and forest and will ensure that at all times your dog is cared for! Whether your dog loves swimming in the sea or watching a movie on the sofa, we are open to whatever preferences are required. I work from home in IT and my partner works as a nurse so plenty of days off (Shift work). Your dog will have someone available to them at all times including access to the garden. We have a fully fenced garden and a super friendly Labrador of our own. So company and exercise is available at all times for your beloved pooch. Our girl has free roam of the house and so will yours. We can accommodate any preferences in care that best suits you.

About: Our family dog, Lola, came into our lives almost 9 years ago. We absolutely love her & couldn't imagine lift without her, even though she lives with my parents in Plymouth! I used the Trusted Housesitters platform to care for dogs & cats when we lived in Canada, and have also cared for dogs in Dorset, Devon & Kent. This area of the world has such beautiful walks to offer, and to share that with a furry friend makes it all the better. I also have a car, making it easy to collect your pet to go on our adventures. I currently work for the University of Southampton. I tend to work ~4 days from home, and ~1 day in the office (I am based at Southampton General Hospital)(my in-person day is mostly every Wednesday but this can be flexible). My hours are also extremely flexible, so I can go out to walk several times per day, and I don't have a specific start/finish time. I love an early morning walk & will happily take a stroll in all weathers. As long as your dog is happy, I'm happy! We live in a second-floor apartment, so don't have immediate access to a garden. However, we live less than a 5(ish)-minute walk to the beach & parks, so we are not far from open space at all.

“Bear had an amazing time with Katya and came home very happy. 🐶 He had lots of fun, cuddles and walks 🐾 Katya was lovely and I felt at ease whilst Bear was there. Thank you Katya x”

About: Both my partner Andy and I have grown up with dogs and believe they’re not just pets, but true members of the family. We recently said goodbye to our beloved family Labrador at the age of 13, which gave us invaluable experience in caring for senior dogs — from administering medication to adapting routines for comfort and mobility. We regularly look after friends’ and family’s dogs, and pride ourselves on providing calm, loving, and attentive care. Every dog we look after is treated with the same affection and respect we’d give our own. With a background as a qualified mental health nurse, I bring a calm, compassionate approach to pet care. I have experience handling dogs of all temperaments, including those who are anxious, elderly, or require a little extra patience. My work has taught me the importance of trust, routine, and gentle communication — all of which I bring to every walk. Whether it’s a lively puppy or a senior dog needing a slower pace, your pet will be cared for as if they were my own. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. My partner, Andy, works from home full-time, so there’s always someone around to provide company and care. I work a 9–5 role, and together we create a relaxed, pet-friendly environment. We live just a five-minute walk from Highcliffe beach and love exploring the New Forest National park, making our daily walks varied, stimulating, and enjoyable for every dog we care for.

“Petra had a lovely day with Georgia. We felt confident she was in a good place and Georgia was very friendly and calm. Well communicated and sent us a photo of how she was doing.”

About: I love dogs. I had dogs in the past and now have a big softie Golden retriever who I am sure would be the best company for yours. I am on maternity leave, so your dogs will be cared for all day. Our Golden Retriever prefers playing with other dogs to playing retrieving so he is gonna keep yours company. The house has large fenced garden with plenty of toys and tennis ball and a super friendly Goldie to keep your fur babies safe and entertained. I walk our Goldie twice a day off leash so they can have a good time together, sure tired them out enough for good sleeps afterwards.

fiona k.
“I have to say that Fiona was remarkable with Daisy. Fiona has been looking after my dog for sometime now . I have relied on her for so much recently, and she has been an absolute star when I went into hospital for nearly two weeks, Fiona was there for her and I trusted her through out. Daisy was walked, fed, cared for and loved. I trust this lady to treat Daisy as her own, and not only that but I know how much Daisy feels comfortable going there, and trots in there likes she owns the place. Fiona has kept me updated on her welfare, and sent me photos. I think the greatest thing was that Fiona listened to how I liked Daisy to be treated, and she carried that out beautifully. I recommend this lady truly and I have only ever been great full of her services to us.”

“Ali is a loving, caring, and energetic person who truly goes above and beyond for the dogs in her care. She’s active and adventurous, always ready to explore new places with them. Her love for dogs is undeniable—she’s never afraid to get muddy on a walk or tidy up after them. Attentive to each dog’s unique needs, Ali is just as happy cuddling up for some affection as she is receiving those joyful doggy kisses. She has cared for my dog on several occasions and has always been reliable and trustworthy”

Hanna C.
“Hanna is a wonderful dog sitter who takes excellent care of my pooch Stitch frequently! She is very warm, friendly and just great with pets. Recently, when I came home after my weekend away, my dog was very relaxed and happy. To the point of being hesitant to come back with me...😅 I couldn't recommend Hanna enough! Thanks for doing such a great job and being so passionate about it.”
