“We had a wonderful experience with Rachael taking care of Molly. From the moment we met her, it was clear how dedicated and passionate she is about what she does. She took the time to tell us about her background and experience, which immediately made us feel at ease. She was incredibly kind and welcoming with Molly, making sure she felt comfortable right away. Throughout the stay, Rachael kept us updated with messages and photos, which we really appreciated. We highly recommend her, and in fact, we’ve already booked Molly’s next stay with her because we were so happy with the care she provided.”

I couldn’t recommend her enough and we will be booking her to look after our dogs in the future with no hesitation!”

Aga couldn't have been more accommodating or caring and her updates with regular photos showing Millie happy and enjoying herself were very reassuring. A great dog minder that I will use again and would be happy to recommend.”

About: I grew up with dogs and my oldest dog was born in my bedroom along with 10 of her siblings! She was beautiful and 16years old when she became the angel she always was. I work full time but available on weekends for boarding. Dogs are allowed at my work place so I can do weekdays if your dog is comfortable around other dogs. I have a fenced garden and plenty open green space in my area. My house is open plan layout which gives plenty of space to play fetch for a small pup. I have trained my dogs in the past so can do it if you want me to.

About: I have had pets all my life. My most recent dog was a German Shepherd who we had since he was a puppy. I am familiar with administering medication. As a family we really enjoy showering love on all animals. We are a very active family always going on walks and adventures and love the companionship of a furry friend. I work from home, I very regularly give dogs a cuddle and letting them out into the garden for a toilet break. I often take them out at lunchtime for walks either at Hengistbury Head or at the beach which is on our doorstep. Once the family return from school/work they are more than enough cuddles available for pets!! My daughter is aged eight and my son is aged 11 and they are very familiar and considerate when interacting with animals. I have a good sized fenced garden. Where the dogs are perfectly safe to run around. We are experienced in crate trained dogs, and feeding range of food from Raw to kibble.
About: Hey, Im Issy, a Christchurch local. I’ve grown up alongside many pets… cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and dogs! Being around animals has always felt natural to me. I feel at ease whether it’s a tiny kitten, a big bouncy dog, or anything in between. A few years ago, we introduced Suki, a rescue Sharpei/Staffie into the family (lives with my mum). She’s a strong, energetic girl who requires longer walks and a solid routine. Clear communication is really important to me. I’ll always respect your instructions on training or routines, and I love keeping owners updated with photos and little check-ins. I’m familiar with secure walking spots around Christchurch, Bournemouth and the New Forest. Now that I’m living by the beach, I spend more time outdoors and I’d love to share that with your pet. I have quite a flexible work set up. I work from home most days. I can work from cafes, community spaces or anywhere with steady secure internet! I do occasionally have to move about for work but am usually not out longer than few hrs. If I were caring for pets in your home, i would like to understand all of your pets needs aswell as house instructions/ safety requirements. Your pet will be treated as if it were my own, I’d do my best to keep to its routine to avoid any upset and provide a calm environment with lots of attention and cuddles!
“Sammy was amazing, she booked us in at short notice as our previous sitter was unwell. She met our dog before and discussed what we needed. She also agreed to let my son’s dog out at the same time. She was very prompt and sent photos of the dogs happily playing. We would defiantly contact sammy again if we need someone.”

“I was away on holiday for ten days and left my four beloved cats in Maria’s care — and I honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Maria did an absolutely amazing job. All my cats were calm, happy, and clearly well cared for when I returned. She followed every instruction with such attention and love, and even went the extra mile by watering the flowers in my front garden, which was such a thoughtful and kind gesture. Knowing Maria was looking after everything gave me real peace of mind while I was away. She’s incredibly reliable, caring, and dedicated — I wholeheartedly recommend her. Thank you so much, Maria!”

About: I have a deep love for animals, especially cats. Although I currently have one cat, I am unfortunately away from him at the moment. Being apart from my own pet has only increased my desire to care for other animals. In my home country, I have looked after many stray animals, feeding them and making sure they were safe. I would love to continue this kind of care and support wherever I am, and I am more than happy to volunteer for cat-related services. I believe every animal deserves love and attention, and I’m always willing to offer my time and energy to help them.

About: I have experience caring for cats of all personalities, from confident and playful to shy or nervous, and I also have a kitten myself who means more to me than anything! I understand how important reliable care is. I follow routines exactly as instructed and can handle feeding, litter changes, basic medication, and keeping everything clean and calm. I’m patient and always take time to help cats feel comfortable.

“My cat is very anxious so it was very reassuring to have a quiet, calm person such as Maria looking after her. This is our first time using a sitter/drop in and I'm very keen to have Maria back again later in the New Year. It was lovely to get all the feedback and photos from her too. Very reassuring when you are a long way from home. Thanks Maria.”

“Amy was excellent to communicate with and we looked forward to our daily updates and photos. “Charlotte was lovely and very professional. Like most lurchers, she can be a little emotional & sensitive at times, but settled in really well and was more then happy to trott into Charlotte's without a care. Lu got lots of playtime and walks and I would not hesitate to recommend Charlotte as a trusted and proficient pet carer.”

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I've had dogs all my life and truly understand how important it is to find someone you trust to look after your furry family member. I currently live with my friendly and sociable German Pointer, Obi, who absolutely loves the company of other dogs. Together, we enjoy regular long walks (or short, depending on need) and plenty of playtime. We're lucky to live in a beautiful part of Bournemouth, surrounded by dog-friendly parks, coastal paths, and woodland trails—perfect for keeping dogs happy, active, and well-stimulated. Whether your dog enjoys long adventurous walks or just cuddles and companionship at home, I can cater to their needs and routines. I provide a safe, loving, and calm environment where your dog will feel right at home. You can expect regular updates, photos, and peace of mind knowing your pup is in caring, experienced hands. We’re looking forward to meeting your 4 legged friend! I work from home for my main job so am always around. When I am available caring for your pet will be my priority and you have every assurance they will be safe, happy and well looked after. I have a large fenced garden that is secure. No escapees on my watch! When your dog stays with me, they’ll be treated like part of the family. Dogs have full access to my home and are welcome on the sofa (unless you prefer otherwise!). I stick closely to your dog’s usual routine to ensure they feel secure and settled. Walks are a big part of our day – I live in a beautiful part of Bournemouth with access to parks, woodlands, and coastal paths/beaches, so there’s no shortage of exciting places to explore. My own dog, Obi (a friendly German Pointer), is great with other dogs and loves the company. I’m happy to cater to any special needs – whether it’s administering medication, feeding a special diet, or giving extra cuddles to nervous pups.

In recent years l've looked after friends' and family's dogs while they've been away, making sure they're fed, walked, played with and properly cared for. I absolutely love going on long walks, so having a four-legged pal to join me is always a joy. “Mathilda was absolutely outstanding while looking after our dogs during our honeymoon. From the very start, she was reliable, caring, and incredibly attentive, which gave both me and my husband complete peace of mind while we were away. She took our dogs out on their walks every day, making sure they were happy, well exercised, and thoroughly cared for. What really stood out was how well she kept us updated throughout our trip, regularly keeping us in the loop and reassuring us that everything was going smoothly. It was clear our dogs built a wonderful bond with Mathilda and genuinely looked forward to seeing her each day. They absolutely loved their walks with her, and it was so comforting to know they were not only being looked after, but also enjoying themselves so much. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for them and would highly recommend Mathilda to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and fantastic with dogs.”

About: 🦮 Growing up, I have always been surrounded by dogs. From the moment I was born, my Mum introduced me to Kim, our Golden Retriever, by setting me in the middle of the floor and letting her introduce herself. We were the best of friends from that moment and that’s truly where my love for dogs began. I love being around dogs and am consistently trusted by family, friends and new pet parents in the UK and abroad in the (current) absence of my own! 🐕 We had the pleasure of taking on a challenging and lovable rescue Labrador, Sam, when I was 11. This is where I started to take on dog care responsibilities beyond just giving love. Whilst I shared the general care of Sam, I took on taking him to obedience and agility classes which really helped me build the foundations for understanding human to dog connection and controlling behaviour. 🐶 Since then, my care for dogs has extended to helping out with family and friends, as well as using dog and house sitting opportunities whilst travelling Canada. Here is an insight into just a few dogs I have been entrusted with: - Caring for Ryleigh for 4 weeks: a reactive rescue who is challenged by new people and other dogs. She is on a strict anxiety and joint medication schedule. Sensory games and stimulation is an important part of her day to day. - Doggy day care for Nebby: a Golden Retriever puppy with boundless energy. Long walks, games in the park and lots of attention keeps Nebby content. - House-sit care for 4 Shih Tzu crosses for two weeks: perfect chaos with this characterful quad. Each of them received equal love and attention and are fabulous company. Walking in pairs was important here!! 🐕🦺 The care of your dog is my biggest priority. From feeding and walking, to playing games and cuddling, I do everything I can to allow you to leave your companions with ease. I have experience with separation anxiety and nervous dogs and my experience with different breeds is growing. I have administered oral medication to dogs and cats, and whilst I have not yet had experience with injections, I am very happy to learn. 🏠 I prefer home visits and sits where I feel dogs are more comfortable in their familiar environments. I am a hybrid worker, offering the most flexibility from my days working from home. With enough notice will do my best to flex my working week to accommodate the care for your furry best friend(s). 🫶 Please do get in touch should you wish for your dog to receive my care and love, or for any more questions about my services. 🗓️ For a typical working week; I am a hybrid worker with 1-2 days a week working from home. My work from home days can be flexible with enough notice. I am available to walk dogs locally most mornings before work and would offer flexibility for some post work/evening walks from 5:30/6pm. Lunchtime walks/visits could be possible depending on locations. Southbourne and Charminster areas are ideal for this. I much prefer seeing dogs comfortable in their own homes whilst their parents are away. I feel the familiarity for them is important for the quality of care, so I am happy for house-sit dog care in your home. In certain circumstances, I am open to taking annual leave with notice to care for your pup! Please do enquire and I am happy to chat through your requirements. 🧘The wellbeing of your dog(s) is my highest priority. It is important to me for you to feel most comfortable leaving your pets in my care. I have lots of experience caring for dogs in their homes. Whether it’s simply dropping by for a comfort break, a play and feed or taking them out for a stroll, I will be sure to give lots of love and attention!
About: I’m an experienced sitter with a genuine love for all animals. I got all my pets through to the tender old ages of 16 through devotion, love and responsibility. I love giving them love and I can take care of senior dogs with all kinds of health problems. I am also DBS checked and I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, birds you name it. I even had horses. I currently work part time and my work is flexible so they will have all the attention and love from me. We’ll go on early morning walks and afternoon walks depending on the weather and between they’ll get to play and have fun! I live in a one bedroom in a long stay hotel setting right now. There’s a bit garden in the back and a big one in front with plenty of routes to the beach. I’m also more than happy to stay at your place and look after your babies in their own environment.

“Sophie looked after Wesley extremely well he had a wonderful time with Sophie and her family and got on extremely well with her gorgeous little dog Lady. Sophie sent me pictures and messaged me whilst we were away keeping me updated and Wesley looked happy and settled. It was reassuring knowing he was happy and well looked after. I would definitely recommend Sophie.”

“Sam has already done walks with my little Westie and this was the first overnight stay. She came back happy and it was obvious that Sam and his partner had made a lovely fuss of her.”

“Katrina could not have been any more attentive towards our two dogs. She showed genuine care for them (they absolutely fell in love with her in the first 10 minutes of meeting her!). She provided regular updates and photos of how the dogs were doing whilst we were away. She also let us add an extra day at very short notice which was very helpful. I couldn’t recommend her enough and we will be booking her to look after our dogs in the future with no hesitation!”

“We are so pleased of having Duchess sat with Calvin. He was great with her, attentive and proactive. Had no issues communicating with him and all instructions were followed as we discussed. We truly recommend him and looking forward to next holiday when we will be using his services.”

“Angela and her family looked after my dog Captain for the weekend and did an amazing job. He seemed to settle with them well and enjoyed his time with the family. Angela sent over plenty of updates and photos and was really quick to reply to messages. A huge thank you from myself and Captain (aka Pirate)”

About: Hi I'm Zara! I’m a Personal Trainer and love going for walks at the beach most days. I adore dogs and love to say hello to all the fury friends I meet on my walks. I’ve grown up with dogs all my life from a sheep dog/collie and a Staffie. I love all bully breeds! I would love to have some 4 legged company for my walks, cuddles and maybe treat them to a pup cup! (If they are allowed one) Dogs bring me so much joy and it would be amazing to be part of a dogs day out! I have been a dog sitter for a few friends while they have been away on holiday, and whilst working on a farm in Australia we had working dogs to too after Im currently self employed and work my own hours. Im a PT in a gym and also an online coach so some work is in the gym and some at home. My hours & days are pretty flexible I’m always out for walks most days to keep active I live in a flat, no balcony so dog walking preferably only available service. A small dog would be fine to stay for 1 day or 1 night if needed over if non crated and is happy roaming around on their own. Is house trained also
