About: We're a couple who both grew up with family dogs and look forward to having our own one day. George was the sole trainer of his family terrier from puppyhood and knows how to build trust with dogs. We have also spent a lot of time with a close friend whilst he trained a farm dog but mostly we know how to let a dog have fun! Luckily our friends and families have lots of different dogs and so we have experience with all shapes, sizes and personalities from many group dog walks or after looking after them for extended time. On and off walks we know how to, and it's our top priority to keep your dog safe and happy. Myself and George (my partner) both work from home so can look after your dog any day of the week and on weekends. We are very flexible with timings, give just us a message as nothing will be too much. We are both very active and love to get out for a walk or sit in the park before/after work and at lunch time and would love for your pet to join us! We can take your pup on many adventures to the local park, woods or further afield. Alternatively if they prefer to stay at home we are more than happy to provide cuddles and let them roam around our home and garden. When caring for your pet in our home, their safety and comfort are the top priorities. We live in a secure ground floor flat with direct access to a private, fully enclosed garden perfect for safe outdoor play and bathroom breaks. Inside, our space is calm, clean, and pet friendly an ideal space for your pet to relax and feel at home.

“Kurt was amazing from start to finish, great communicator with really quick responses, and looked after Tamu so well and sent me lots of info whilst with her reassuring me! Thanks so much and will be calling on you again 😊”

“Mariana did drop in visits for our dog, Valley, for the second time recently. She sends lots of pictures and videos and is quick to message with any updates or replies to anything I’ve asked. Valley is really happy and comfortable around her. I’d recommend Mariana to anyone that’s looking for a kind, reliable, top quality dog sitter. Thanks again Mariana!”

About: My family dog (Alfie) is a 12 y/o boarder terrier and I look after him for my parents on a regular basis when I go home to visit. I lived in the same home as Alfie in cornwall for the first 5 years and miss him everyday now that I live in Bristol. I love nothing more than dogs and I love going for walks, so it helps being around great places to walk / parks. Our first family dog was a Doberman, and I absolutely love all different breeds of dogs and often support with dog sitting my partners family dog who is an American Staffy. I live in a 2 bedroom maisonette with 2 large balcony’s, the previous owner of this apartment had 2 dogs so it’s definitely a dog friendly space (*** please note that these are a few flights of stairs to get to our apartment). My partner works from home Monday - Friday, and I work from home Thursdays and Fridays, so we can make it work in the week, as well as weekends. I work full time, in the office Mon - Wed 8:30am - 5:30pm then I work from home Thursdays 8:30am - 5:30am and from home Friday 8:30am - 12pm My partner works 9am - 5pm Mondays, then Wednesdays - Fridays, he usually works from home on Tuesdays but sometimes has to be on site. I don’t have any pets in the house, the balcony’s are spacious and we lots of gardens close by where we can take the dogs

“Sarah is absolutely wonderful with my cat, Benji! This was my third time booking her, and it’s clear Benji loves her — he even flopped over for belly rubs! Sarah took time to play with him and kept me updated. Highly recommend!”

“She is amazing. Carly was very attentive and communicative, she has clearly a passion for cats and made sure our cat was looked after during our short time away. We recommend her and will rebook with her in the future.”

About: I’ve grown up fully immersed in the presence of animals and I have always taken on roles in their care. I have a dog called Nala at home and I love nothing more than spending time with her whether that be playing with her toys, going out for walks or simply cuddling on the sofa. I also have cats at home who likewise enjoy their playtime but also fusses on my knee. I’ve had work experience placement at a veterinary clinic so I’m also aware of aspects of care such as senior care and proper handling techniques. Although I am a veterinary nursing student at university I have days where I don’t have in person classes therefore making me available throughout the day and some days I’m home by 12pm, as well as having my weekends spare. I am very vigilant when it comes to pet safety especially with having grown up in a home with indoor cats, therefore I will take any safety measures you have in place very seriously. Due to my vet nursing course I have done placement at veterinary clinics therefore I’m aware of safe and proper handling techniques as well as signs to be aware of in other dogs when out on walks.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and my parent currently has a 4 year old border collie. When I come over I provide relief to my parent as I will mentally stimulate the dog by playing with him and also take him out on walks so that my parent doesn’t have to do 3 a day! We had 2 dogs growing up that sadly passed away, one of which was a rescue dog and so I understand how you may need to act differently to make the dog feel comfortable. I’ve looked after many dogs ad-hoc including Manchester terriers, beagles and Schnoodles. For these occasions, I’ve stayed at the owners house and kept the house respectable. All of which felt easy in comparison to looking after a border collie! By the end of the day, the dogs are often asleep on my lap (or I sit on the floor with them if the owner doesn’t want their pet to be on furniture!), fed and happy. I’m available often on weekends and I work half days on Friday so I can come in the afternoon from 1pm. Within the week, I work 2 days in the city centre, and 3 days in Filton but have a car for easy mobility. I can go in lunch breaks or after work. If the pet is a bit shy, I would be more cautious and go down to their level to try to bond with it. I speak to the owner to understand do’s and dont’s. And I’d use treats when best placed to celebrate positive experiences and train the dog to have good connotations with certain actions or moments. The main thing about looking after someone’s pet is that you don’t want to confuse the animal. So I would take it on walks when the owner recommends and use the lead in environments that require it (e.g. roads, if they struggle around other dogs).

“Marisa is great! Looked after our kitten over the Christmas period, communicated well, sent lovely pictures and took great care of him. Would happily book again!”

“Excellent thank you. Nice communication prior and during with updates.”

About: Hi, I'm a 25 year old currently studying Veterinary medicine. Dogs have always been an integral part of my life. We have had dogs in our family since I was 7 and there are few things I enjoy more than getting to spend time with them! I have two years of experience as a volunteer dog walker and socialiser for the RSPCA. So I am well used to caring for a range of breeds and catering for dogs with various needs and requirements. Additionally, I've frequently looked after dogs belonging to neighbours & family friends. During my time at university I have continued to regularly take care of dogs, including weekly house sitting and walking. References available on request. I'm currently taking a year out to apply for Veterinary medicine, I am likely to be working part time, but beyond that my schedule will be very flexible. While dog sitting I will make sure your dogs receive plenty of companionship and attention. I will ensure they are kept mentally stimulated and entertained, through playing with toys and/or any other enrichment activities. I really enjoy dog walking, so would be more than happy to take your dog on regular walks around where you live or to any nearby parks.
