“Emily was excellent!! We came home to a very happy pup, Joy is very excitable and usually takes a little while to warm up to people but almost instantly wanted to cuddle up to Emily, she felt at ease with Emily really quickly which was a great sign! Emily is calm, warm and attentive and we will be booking again!”

About: Hi we are James and Hannah. We just adore animals, we’ve looked after a huge range in various homes around the country but we haven’t sat a reptile yet but I’m sure that will be ticked off soon! I (Jamie) have had 4 Border Collies, from pups to old age, once you know a Collie that gives you highly transferable skills to look after other breeds, plus Collies do develop your own 6th sense when it comes to dogs. Cats we know well and we know they are the boss! We are highly experienced and reviews from another pet platform will support this, more than happy to discuss this further if applicable. Pets are just so rewarding to look after whilst developing that bond and trust for in us is special. On to the practical stuff, price can be negotiable dependant on any factors that you want to discuss. Thank for reading Jamie and Hannah We are flexible to be in your home full time during the sit. It’s important for us that the pet has the availability of human interaction during the day. By only looking after animals in their own surroundings it’s comforting for them to have the security of their home. We will always follow the house owners instructions for their loved ones to the letter. We have sat at over 20 homes now and reviews on other sites will testify that the owner’s always come back to a happy herd!

About: Pooch obsessed- dedicated in providing fun and safe care to your fury companions. Play dates, potty breaks, sleepovers and little get away holidays for them. I am a full time palliative care nurse- my shifts change weekly. Full time shifts consist of 3 days a week so I have plenty of time for your pets. I own a three bedded house with a fenced garden surrounded by a rural area only 20 mins from the Lake District. Your pet can be free roam around the home or caged whichever is normal for their home life.

About: I grew up with dogs as a child, and did dog walking as a teenager, however as an adult - I have had 8 years worth of experience caring for them. I currently have 3 amazing dogs who I couldn’t physically love any more than I already do. I have experience in medical care as well as looking after rambunctious puppies. I work in a primary school Mon-Fri, so I can walk your beloveds after I finish and board at weekends and during school holidays too. I have an enclosed back garden; secured by 6 foot fences around the perimeter. I will keep your dog on a lead at all times, unless given permission only when privately hiring a fully secure dog field.

“Helen was fantastic, we would highly recommend her as a house/pet sitter and we will be using her again. Our dog Shelby had a lovely time whilst we were away for 2 weeks, and the house was immaculate when we returned! We received regular updates from Helen, she was friendly, professional and very attentive when caring for Shelby. Thank you Helen! X”

“First time having a dog sitter and i was impressed. Olivia was very good with Ralph. He was well looked after and cared for. Olivia kept us up to date with Ralph and sent us pictures which was great. We will definitely be booking Olivia in the near future.”

“Heidi, was great, communication pre-sitting was ideal. Arrived on time, my dog fern loved her and she was clearly very confident with her. Provided updates and pics over the weekend, and obviously gave fern a load of time and attention, and followed instructions provided. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and to book her again in the future.”

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats and other pets my whole life, seeing to all their needs. I walk or run with dogs, sometimes on the fells in the Lake District or locally. High energy dogs aren’t a problem and I can take your dog(s) out for longer if agreed. Low energy dogs get the gentle pace they need 😊 I work part time so I have free days in the week and sometimes weekends to walk or run with your dogs. I treat this time as a privilege to be around dogs while even getting exercise myself. It’s a win win situation for me I currently don’t offer care for your pet in my home or care for your pets in your home. I may consider this in the future.

About: Have looked after a Chinese Red Dog (large) a few times for my Auntie, otherwise have walked and spent time looking after dogs for friends and family in the past I work almost everyday from afternoon till 9-10:30pm everyday so i can sit pets after that, can walk dogs anytime before 3pm, will prioritise this over personal life/affairs I take care of pets in their own home, making sure they’re fed, exercised, and comfortable. I stick to their routine, give them plenty of attention, and make sure they feel safe. Walks, playtime, and potty breaks etc, and I’ll keep you updated so you know they’re doing great. I'm available for taking dogs on walks almost every afternoon, regardless how long

“Absolutely brilliant. Claire was asked to look after two Border Collies, one elderly and one ‘quite lively’. She kept them company in our house for 3 nights and gave several updates and photos each day. It was obvious from her feedback and the condition of our Collies that Claire had done a very caring and professional job. We have never left any of our Collies, both past and present, in kennels or alone until now, but should we have to in future, we will rest easy and confident that they will be safe and well. Claire is a professional with tons of affection and it shows. Well done Claire and many thanks for your reassuring help.”

No extra charges for bank holidays, Easter, Christmas, etc. I am DBS checked and insured. Holly W.
“I’m happy to recommend Holly as a kind, thoughtful person who has a natural way with dogs. She’s incredibly patient, gentle, and attentive to their needs, always ensuring they feel comfortable and well-cared for. Her calm and friendly demeanor makes her a joy to be around—for both people and pets. Any dog would be lucky to spend time with her!”

Elaine W.

“Elaine was a brilliant help, coming at very short notice to look after our dog! Very speedy replying and looked after Charlie exceptionally well, thank you very much :)”

“Jen was amazing! Kept us updated throughout the day and sent lots of photos! Our puppy clearly had a great day with her and we will book again :)”

Diana E.
“5 stars and more - I can’t recommend Diana enough! We were lucky enough to have her look after our Italian Greyhound Luna while we went away for a few days. We were very nervous about leaving Luna as it was the first time she’d been away from us over night but from the moment we found out Diana could have her to stay it was as though a great weight had lifted! A dog owner herself, Diana truly loves and understands dogs. She is trustworthy & reliable and went above and beyond to make sure that Luna felt at home during her stay. We had peace of mind on holiday and wouldn’t hesitate to ask Diana again and I’m sure that Luna would say she loved every minute and had a great time too.”

Kevin S.
“Kev has been walking and running my dog, Leo, for almost 12 months. I’ve always had the feeling that he is very excited to go with Kev on his adventures, and he always comes home tired and content. It is apparent to me that Kev has taken the time to get to know him and hence his needs are well catered for. I would recommend Kev as a person to exercise your dog whenever you need and I would add that you may rest assured that your pet will be treated like one of the family.”

Siam M.
“Siam is great with pets and really cares about their well-being. He’s responsible, attentive, and makes sure they’re happy and comfortable. Whether it’s feeding, walks, or just giving them attention, he does a great job. I’d definitely trust him to look after my pet again.”

Michele N.
“Michele is a friendly, responsible person, she has looked after my parrot for a week while we were away for a wedding. I trust her totally as she has so much experience with various pets. She has always had pets up till she lost her family dog Gemma last year. She just spoils everyone else's pets now. I can highly recommend Michele for any pet needs you have.”
