About: I’ve had my own cats for years and wanted to enjoy the occasional night or two away, so I chatted with some friends who also had cats and we created a schedule so we could take care of each other’s when we needed to go away for a night! After doing this, I joined another cat sitting site, so I could visit different cats across the city and make some extra cash whilst doing so. Then in 2020, a month before lockdown, I adopted a rescue puppy from Cyprus! Having no access to puppy classes (or other dogs/humans) meant I had to be creative when socialising and training him. I now live in the countryside and have more free time which means I can meet more furry friends but also know some great places for walkies now ☺️ I work Monday to Friday, full time hours however I am free evenings and weekends. If needed, I can pop in to feed pets first thing in the morning on a weekday, but wouldn’t be available for long visits or dog walks until the evenings. Happy to do any type of visit/walks on the weekends though ☺️ As I have a cat and a dog, it would work better for me to come to your home. This also means your pet would have their own home comforts/safe spaces. Happy to sit or play with your pet before or after feeding times but equally, if your pet isn’t interested in play or cuddles, more than happy to just tidy up after them, do their dishes and litter trays and remind them that you’ll be back soon!

“Such a lovely girl and very attentive. Was great to receive updates and even my cat who is usually scared to come out to new people made an appearance. Will definitely use again. Thank to Daisy ☺️”

“Grace looked after our cat whilst we were on holiday. Grace was lovely and done an amazing job, keeping us updated and looking after Molly. Our cat is older now and hates going to the cattery so it was great to be able to keep her at home and know she was in reliable hands! Thank you so much Grace, we would definitely book you again. Thanks also for feeding the fish! Kirstin”

About: Hello! My name's Lauren and I am very much a Dog Person. I love dogs and the feeling seems to be mutual! So much so that I aspire to give up office life to retrain as a dog groomer and walker. Proceeds from caring for your lovely pooches will go towards my future grooming course and equipment 🥰 ✅ Fully insured in addition to the Rover guarantee 🧼 Free bathing & grooming (brush, deshed and small trim as required) included in my 1-hour drop-in service — for dogs already accustomed to grooming 🫧 A little about my experience with pups: 🐾 Raised, trained and doted on our first family dog — Rudy, an Airedale Terrier — at age 20 🐕 🐾 Continued to adventure with, care for and groom Rudy until he crossed the rainbow bridge just before he turned 13 🌈 🐾 Adopted our Romanian rescue dog, Mac, along with my partner in 2022 🐶 🐾 Patiently taught Mac all of the things most doggies here take for granted: how to live in a house, wear a collar or harness, walk (calmly!) on a lead and, most of all, to feel safe and secure in his home and with his people. A process that took empathy, perseverance and patience above all 💕 I'm currently between jobs and hoping to save up to embark on my grooming career. Available: Monday - Friday 9 - 7pm Saturday & Sunday 10 - 7pm I will care for your dogs as I would my own — with love and affection, but also respect and understanding. Equally happy adventuring in the woods (or the beach, or around the fields...) with the more intrepid creatures as I am pounding the pavements with the homebirds 🌞

About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, from playful puppies to gentle seniors. I’m confident with training basics like leash walking, recall, and crate comfort, and I always tailor care to each dog’s personality and needs. Whether it’s managing puppy energy with structure and play or giving older dogs the patience and comfort they deserve, I treat every pet like family—with love, routine, and plenty of cuddles! I work late at a bar, but my partner—equally experienced with pets—is home when I’m not, ensuring your furry friend gets care, love, and attention. I have a lot of experience with looking after my own and other people’s pets and know how to effectively look after them and keep them safe.

“Sophie took such good care of Ziggy and Pluto, from the moment we had our meet and greet I felt completely comfortable leaving them in her care. The daily photos and reports assured me they were safe and well. You can tell Sophie is a real animal lover and cares so much about all the pets she looks after. 5 stars and will definitely rebook next time I’m away! Thanks so much ?”

About: I’ve lived with cats my whole life, over 10 years back home in Spain, and the past two years here in the UK while living on my own. I haven’t done official pet sitting yet, but I’ve always been the go-to person to look after friends’ and family’s pets when they needed help. I know how important it is to give pets care, attention, and a calm presence, especially when their owners are away. I’m confident with feeding, cleaning up after, playing with, and just spending time with them so they feel safe and happy. I’m currently working full-time but have plenty of spare time since I’m on holidays until I go back to uni in September. Then I’ll be working part-time, so even more flexible to look after your lovely pets! When I visit a pet in their home, I make sure to follow the owner’s routine as closely as possible so the pet feels comfortable and safe. I’ll stick to their feeding times, walk schedules, and any special instructions you give me. Whether it’s a short walk, playtime, or just some company while you’re away, I’ll make sure your pet gets the care and attention they need. I always treat people’s homes with respect and make sure everything is left tidy and just how I found it.

About: I have always been a massive dog lover, and grew up surrounded by them! Then i adopted my own boy, Teddy who is a 9 year old whippet. I have had him for 7 years and he is the sweetest boy, i am fully obsessed with him. My husband has rescued dogs from a young age and along with his older brother, they trained many dogs who had behavioral issues. I have experience looking after puppies to senior pups. I am the go to dog sitter for all my family and friends. I currently work Monday - Thursday 8-4.30pm. I would be available any evening and all day Friday - Sunday Teddy is walked for 1-1.5 hours a day and when i am at work he is at my in-laws getting all the attention and snacks he needs/wants There is no place your dog wouldn't be allowed, they would sleep in my room with me, i would even share my bed if they wanted to! If you prefer your dog to stay in a crate, that also wouldn't be an issue and i wouldn't allow Teddy to use it. Your dog would be supervised at all times in my house and outside. I prefer to walk Teddy instead of just letting him out in the garden to do the toilet so he can get a good sniff.

“We asked Kristy to do a drop in service to feed our cat while we were away for a few days. Kristy was brilliant on keeping us up to date with how Smoky was doing and sent us pictures each day. We came home to a content cat. Thank you Kristy!”

About: I have cared for dogs and cats majority of my life. I have trained dogs and can be relied on fully for 5 star care of your pet while you’re gone. I can fulfill your pets needs as and when required and will always respect your home keeping it clean and tidy and be respectful of your private space. I am also fully insured for pet sitting, pet transportation and dog walking. I am self employed and can work my hours around your pets needs and will always be given the attention they require with plenty walks and play time. I like to keep dogs on their leads unless they are in an environment where they can safely have a run around that is enclosed and secure. I also like to keep them to their usual routine as much as possible as this is less stressful for them.

About: I’m a trusted and reliable sitter who has so much love for animals. I have had pets my whole life and recently decided to start my own business and I’m so grateful I get to work with dogs all day long. I cannot wait to meet your pets and give them an exciting day! I work part time in an office only 2 days a week 12-3pm so I’m very flexible with my pet care and would say it’s more of my full time job! 🤣 I have some weekly clients but will try and fit bookings on the day too if I can. Pet sitting in your own home I require some key information about your pet, eg feeding, walking and playing. If possible I would suggest a meet and greet before longer stays just to ensure both you and pet are comfortable with me, however short drop ins would need this beforehand.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, from kittens to horses—but my love for dogs truly sets me apart. Growing up with a Great Dane and later sharing 14 wonderful years with my Black Lab-Staffie mix until he crossed the rainbow , I understand the deep bond between pets and their owners. Now, I have a lively 7-month-old Lab-Collie cross who keeps me on my toes and continues to fuel my passion for dogs. My love for animals runs in the family, passed down from my grandmother. I’ve never known a time without a dog in my life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I had my first experience walking dogs as a teenager in my hometown of Whiteford, and while it was only for a brief period, it sparked my passion for working with animals. Since then, I have gained hands-on experience with a wide variety of breeds, including French Bulldogs, Jack Russell's, Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Great Danes, and many more I also have experience caring for dogs with health conditions, particularly arthritis and allergies. My Lab-Staffie, Alfie, developed arthritis in his back leg as he got older, so I understand the importance of gentle exercise, proper pain management, and making adjustments to keep an aging dog comfortable. He was also highly allergic and very sensitive, which gave me firsthand experience in managing dietary restrictions and sensitivities. To deepen my knowledge, I am currently undertaking a nutritional course for dogs, allowing me to better understand how diet impacts a dog's overall health and well-being.In addition to senior dogs, I have experience with puppies. I’ve had my Lab-Collie, Hades, since he was just 9 weeks old, and I currently care for two puppies under 12 months, one of whom I’ve been walking and looking after since June 2024. To deepen my knowledge, I am also undertaking a nutritional course for dogs, allowing me to better understand how diet impacts a dog's overall health and well-being at all life stages. I believe every animal should feel safe and comfortable with their caregiver, and I pride myself on providing patient, reliable, and loving care. I am fully insured and First Aid trained, ensuring your pet is in safe hands. Owner of Alfie’s Haven (formerly Adventurous Paws) 📍 Location: Inverurie & surrounding areas (must be accessible by bus while I learn to drive) 🐶 Services: Dog walking, pet care ✅ Insured & First Aid Trained DBS Checked. If you're looking for a caring and experienced dog walker, I’d love to help! Pet care is a core part of my daily and weekly routine. I work part-time, about 15 hours a week, which gives me ample time to care for animals. Each day, I start with two 30-minute walks at 10 AM and 1 PM. These walks are a daily ritual, ensuring the dogs are engaged and exercised. I work two evenings a week, which still allows me to devote plenty of time to pet care activities and maintain a balanced routine. When caring for pets in their owner's home or out on walks, I prioritize safety, trust, and a nurturing environment. **In the Owner's Home:** - **Safety:** I ensure the home is pet-proofed, removing any hazards like toxic plants and securing loose wires. - **Trust:** Building a bond with the pet is crucial. I spend time getting to know the pet, understanding their habits, and respecting their space. - **Environment:** Maintaining a calm and familiar environment helps pets feel secure and comfortable. **Out on Walks:** - **Safety:** I use secure leashes and harnesses to prevent escapes and stay vigilant to avoid potential dangers like traffic or other aggressive animals. - **Trust:** Consistent and positive reinforcement builds a strong bond, making walks enjoyable and stress-free. - **Environment:** Providing a mix of exercise and mental stimulation, I choose routes that are safe, clean, and engaging. Consistency in routine helps pets feel at ease. My approach ensures pets are well-cared for, whether at home or on walks, always prioritizing their well-being and happiness.

Lauren F.
“We are dog boarders ourselves and we have regularly looked after Lauren’s dog, Mac. Our own two dogs love it when Lauren comes to the house - she is a natural with dogs, they all seem to love her. We hate the thought of having to leave our dogs with anyone when we go on holiday but would feel so much better knowing that Lauren was going to be looking after them as we know how much of a good time they would have. Can’t recommend Lauren enough!”

Lawrence W.

“Lawrence is a great help, flexible and reliable. Clearly a dog lover who is very much loved by my puppy!! Thank you Lawrence”

“Dani and I have been living together for almost 3 years and we’ve had our cat Loki for just over 2 years. He’s always so sweet and caring for Loki, makes sure he’s always fed and treats him with affection by giving him as many cuddles as Loki wants! Jokes aside, I can 100% trust him with Loki’s care, and would definitely recommend him as a pet caregiver anytime.”

Sarah H.
“Sarah has one of the biggest hearts and the love she shares is unmatchable, for dogs especially! She has created her own organic treats for her own fur baby & her husband was previously a dog trainer and their dogs health and well being is their upmost priority, any dogs health for that matter. She sees dogs as a part of the family and treats them with as much care as she does actual babies. She loves going for walks and if a walk is involved she will always have her dog with her. Her love for dogs is that large it has become a bit of a wind up tool for her friends and family. You will not meet anyone that will take batter care of your dog/s and she will make them feel instantly at home in her presence. She grew up with poodles and whippets, she has her own whippet now which she rescued and is amazing with my own dog (puggle - pug/beagle) and her sisters dog (pug) along with a vast amount of experience with many other breeds within her friends and family. Picking Sarah to be a helping hand for you pet will never be a mistake!”

Kerry-anne is a fantastic dog walker has had knowledge on dogs. We recommend kerry-anne and would encourage you to use her services as well.”

“Debs often stays in my home to look after my 12yr old Golden Retriever Monty and 11mth Doberman Springer cross puppy Lulah while we go on holiday. It gives me complete peace of mind going away knowing the dogs are going to be loved, exercised and well looked after in their own home by someone who I trust 100%. Debs treats my dogs like they are her own and they adore her. My house is always immaculate when we return so it really is a joy to go away and be able to relax knowing everything will be looked after at home. I was in two minds about writing this review as we really don't want to share Debs as she really is one in a million 😁”
