About: I’ve had dogs for most of my life and absolutely love being around them. Although my little dog recently passed away, and I’m taking some time before getting another of my own, I still have lots of love, care, and cuddles to give to furry friends. I regularly look after my brother’s Collie and occasionally care for my friend’s Labrador, so I’m very comfortable with different breeds, personalities, and energy levels. Spending time with dogs genuinely makes me happy, and I’d love the opportunity to provide a safe, caring, and fun environment for your dog while you’re away. 🐾 I currently work hybrid so have days in the week I can offer as well as weekend boarding. My days of hybrid working are Tuesday and Thursday. Weekend availability - full weekends other than specified weekends when I may be away. I have a fenced in garden and live within a quiet safe neighbourhood surrounded by gorgeous walks in the countryside! I have two children, 9 and 16, who are both very experienced around dogs, very calm, and very loving. We love walking and will very much enjoy a little doggy to take with us.
About: I grow up with dogs and other small animals. My current pets are my dog Lily and my two guinea pigs Mini & Bella. We also have two more dogs in our family who we occasionally take care of. About: We have been offering pet boarding for over a year, and I’ve had dogs my entire life. I truly believe they are one of the best companions a person can have. I have completed pet first aid training and focus training, and I care for every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. My husband and children are all involved with the pet boarding and this ensures the pets have plenty of cuddles and attention. I look after your dogs as if they are my own and I follow the routines they are used to. Our dogs enjoy at least two good walks a day off the lead in a safe area and lots of fun and attention. We have a large enclosed garden for them to enjoy as well. My dogs are friendly and used to meeting new dogs and people. We as a family love dogs and all respect and treat them with kindness.

About: I currently study at Aberdeen university and I would like to devote my spare time to animals and pet owners that need a little help, I love animals, and helping around in general, and it would be great to interact with pets as currently I can't have my own. I only have 8 h lectures per week, so I available most of the times till December probably, when I leave for work to England. I live in HMO with a garden, so I may be able to house a pet, but with my landlady's agreement. About: Had dogs my whole life up until recently. In the past ive looked after dogs, cats, a snake, a gecko etc. So quite used to being around different animals. Ive been trusted to look after 4 collies a whippet and a cat for a few days which is maybe my greatest pet sitting accomplishment Routine is very open right now. Like walking or hiking or climbing, so adding any pets into the mix is very doable. Any work I do have I will know in advance and my calender will reflect that. Quiet period just now so very open :) Ground floor flat next to the playing field and park in Westhill so lots of spaces for walking and playing. Flat has doors that can be shut between kitchens and bathrooms etc so younger or more "inquisitive" pets won't be able to get to anything they shouldnt

About: I am a very active person, I enjoy walking and jogging through the forest near my house, and I would love a companion to join me. I don't have much professional experience taking care of pets, but I grew up looking after 2 large dogs. I enjoyed taking them on adventures to the beach, or the local lake and of course playing fetch. About: My family had a number of small pets (rabbits, guinea pigs and budgies) that I helped look after as I was growing up. As a teenager I also contributed to the care of our male boxer. For many years thereafter it wasn't possible to have any animals - I had moved abroad for university, spent time away on placement, started full-time work thereafter with life in rented accommodation which didn't allow pets. This change in 2020 when I lodged with a new landlady and her 2 adorable cocker spaniels. We became friends and when I visit I continue to take care of them when their owner is away; daytime and overnight. That includes walks on the beach or on a forest trail, where their favourite activity is to chase a tennis ball, followed by a swim. Once home, the boys make it clear that they would like food and ongoing attention in the form of belly rubs I'm very happy to oblige with. Following their owners suggestion I registered on borrowmydoggy in 2021 and met through this service a number of lovely dogs, mostly larger breeds (German Shepherd, Huskies, Malamute) but I've also started looking after a very confident and fast Chihuahua/Jack Russell lady who enjoys meeting new dogs on her park walks. My availability varies weekly. I prefer late morning and early afternoon sessions which give me a nice break from working at home on days that I can. I live in a top floor rented flat and have access to a small enclosed communal garden to the rear of the property. There is no lift so your pet needs to be able to climb stairs. Cats visit the garden frequently. I can take your pet to the beach or forest in my car.

About: I have 10 acres of private woodland for dog walking. I've taken care of all shapes/sizes and ages of dogs from puppies to old dogs that struggle to walk. My favourite dog is a labrador. On the cat front, my family have always had bengals who you need to be a bit of a mind reader to handle correctly/affectionately. My mum has ran a vet practice down in england for >25 years so I've spent a lot of time with animals growing up. I work from home full time as a software engineer and have my own car (Honda CRV so plenty of space), and have a fairly flexible schedule so can accommodate short notice requests. I will always make sure that all windows and doors are secured so no little escape artists on my watch! And that Collars/harnesses are secured to minimise the risk of slipping collars.

However, I now currently have two CRAZY dogs from Cyprus, one of which is nervous and I am used to comforting. I’ve taken care of couch potatoes to absolute balls of energy. Although I don’t own one, I absolutely love cats and really want to get one one day, so I would love the opportunity to take care of one. NOTICE: Please read about my availability before booking me. I currently work part time with about three shifts a week, usually 6am-2pm (though times can vary), so I'm typically free from late afternoon onwards on those days, and all day on the rest. I don't have set days and only find out my shifts 2-3 weeks in advance, so my availability will reflect that. I keep my Rover calendar updated, so you can check my availability there. Feel free to message me as well. I take the responsibility of walking my dog and other people’s dogs very seriously. Personally I like using a harness as it doesn’t harm a dogs neck, and is much harder for them to slip, however I will always follow your personal preference. I usually carry doggy treats on me, whether that’s for other dogs or to reward your dog for good behaviour. Generally I won’t allow the dog I’m walking to have interactions with other dogs if it can be helped, or let the dog off leash to prevent any accidents, but this can be discussed. About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life, starting with my Jack Russell I’ve cared for since I was 5 years old. I’m attentive on walks, avoid unsafe situations, and make sure they’re secure and happy at all times. If caring for pets in my own home, I provide a calm, safe, and welcoming environment. I have a fenced garden for secure outdoor time, and my home is very relaxed—pets are welcome upstairs or downstairs, wherever they feel most comfortable. They’ll get plenty of attention, affection, and supervision, while still sticking to their usual routines as much as possible.

In my adult years I've had several dogs and cats, rabbits, birds and a horse. I worked at a Veterinary Clinic for 8 years and they specialised in small animals and also exotic pets. I have hand reared kittens and puppies that have only been a few days old. I assisted with the care of the animals at the vet and nursed several in need of special care. I rarely go out for long periods of time so at most, I would be out for a few hours (max 4 hours). I like to make sure dogs have regular walks and toilet breaks. I think it's important that they get a lot of attention, especially on the first few days, so they can settle in and feel comfortable. I would try to stick to their regular routines as much as possible, take them out for regular walks and give lots of cuddles and comfort to them.
About: Hello! I have been around animals my whole life and grew up with many dogs on the family farm. I have a dog of my own now and I have absolutely loved training her as a pup and enjoying the beauty of the countryside with her now. My work schedule is pretty structured with every other weekend off and every other Monday and Friday off but I have availability most early mornings and later evenings! About: I have a Level 3 VTQ certification in Pet First Aid for Pet Professionals from ProTrainings, as well as Dog Care/Cat care Level 2 (VTQ) qualified, which equips me with the skills to handle emergencies and provide essential medical care to pets, and now ensure to carry an animal first aid kit with me to all sits. I've also spent some time as a volunteer at 'Oasi Felice degli Animali' an animal sanctuary in Sardinia Italy, and cared for a wide variety of animals, including horses, ponies, dogs, cats, sheep, and goats. My responsibilities included feeding, grooming, and providing companionship, as well as cleaning their living spaces to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. I also assisted with basic medical care and rehabilitation, embracing the sanctuary’s holistic approach to animal care, which treats animals as autonomous beings and caters to their individual needs rather than trying to control them. Additionally, my experience at the National Animal Welfare Trust involved caring for and cleaning after rabbits, further broadening my animal care skills. I am currently an adult and paediatric student nurse, and have found many skills and therapeutic techniques have been very transferable to my work as a pet sitter ensuring that the animals I care for receive the best possible attention and care. I'm currently, a nursing student, however there tend to be stretches of time where our learning is primarily online so I'm able to work around that. About: I previously worked as a kennel assistant at Lumphanan Pet Hotel, where I was left in charge of the kennels and took care of up to 20 dogs per day, this included walking, feeding, grooming, cuddling and playing with the dogs as well as administering medications. About: We had our own lovely Cassie (a beautiful labradoodle) for 12 years. She was much loved and is much missed. Also lots of family pets in younger years. We decided not to replace her as our children live abroad and we want to travel unhindered. Hence me offering to look after other people’s beloved pets - the best of both worlds - a dog in the house when we are available and freedom the rest of the time! Lots of experience looking after other people’s dogs and always treat them with love and respect! Happily retired and my happy place is out in the local county side walking a dog! I can usually accommodate most pet schedules and happy to discuss requirements. Happy to board your dog who will have the run of our large downstairs. Each pet visiting has found the place they like best to sit, some admiring the view of Bennachie out our front window while others love the garden. Prefer a cage for sleeping but, if pet well behaved, can be flexible.

Since then I’ve walked dogs for neighbours, family has friends- our little dog at home loves the company of other dogs so we are first to be signed up for babysitting! I currently work in office 7am -3pm Tuesday - Thursday but I can be available any hours outside of this, including every evening and all weekends I have a fenced garden in my house and a small dog of our own who is super friendly and patient with everyone she meets so can keep your pet company.
