“I cannot say enough fabulous things about Rachael. I found her while being in a pinch out of town on vacation, needing someone last minute to step in for a drop-in visit and she was immediately responsive and available. She is highly accommodating and my Cane Corso girl loves her. She has pulled through for me several times and I am so thankful for her. I cannot recommend her enough!”

About: Since I was 12 years old, I have been actively caring for dogs. My first dog lived to 19 years old, thanks to the loving care from me and my family. Over the years, many friends have trusted me to look after their pets during vacations, showing confidence in my responsible and caring approach. I’ve helped train puppies by teaching basic commands and good behavior, building strong bonds with them. I regularly take dogs to the park for exercise and socialization to keep them healthy and happy. I also handle grooming tasks like bathing to keep them clean and comfortable. This hands-on experience has made me confident and compassionate in providing well-rounded care for dogs of all ages. I’m currently freelancing, so I have plenty of time to play, care for, and give your pups lots of attention! I’m also available for boarding. I don’t have pets at my place right now, but I provide a safe, clean, and loving environment with regular meals, fresh water, playtime, and exercise. I treat every pet like family and respect their unique needs.

“Irina is AMAZING! This is our second time booking her- she is very responsive, caring and detail oriented. Our two cats love her so much and been waiting downstairs for her to check in everyday! Highly recommended- Your cat will be lucky to have her!”

About: After 5 years working as an agency recruiter, I’ve decided to take a break and focus on something I truly love — caring for dogs! I’ve always had a passion for animals, and now I’m turning that into something meaningful. I’ve been caring for dogs my whole life. I grew up with a Shih Tzu named Barkley, who I loved and cared for over 10 years. Over the past five years, I’ve cared for a variety of dogs, including a Sheepadoodle, Dachshund, Pit Bull, French Bulldog, Great Dane, and a Mini Bernedoodle. I’ve helped friends and family with caring for their dogs over the past 5 years. They have always been a big part of my life, and I’m super excited to meet yours! 😊 I'm available Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. I’m moving from San Diego to Newport Beach and will be available to start working on Tuesday, September 2nd. Looking forward to meeting you and your pet! I care for pets as if they were my own. In a client’s home, I make sure to follow any instructions closely — including feeding schedules, walk routines, crate time, and their favorite toys.

“Thank you to Jennie and Bennie for taking such good care of my kitties while I was away. My cats are a little shy but Jennie went above and beyond to make sure they were comfortable. It was nice to have peace of mind and not worry about them.”

About: I have taken care of friends' and familys' dogs for over 10 years, and have always had a dog of my own. I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages and energy levels - from playful puppies who need structure and stimulation to senior dogs who need a gentle, attentive touch. I have trained my own dog to sit, stay, walk off leash, shake, and even to smile! I’ve cared for dogs with a range of needs, including medication administration, anxiety, and leash reactivity. I’m also an avid runner and love including high-energy dogs in my workouts (with your permission, of course!). Whether your pet needs active playtime or a calm, cozy environment, I adjust my approach to fit their unique needs. I prioritize communication, consistency, and creating a stress-free experience, both for you and your pet :) I’m a graduate student with a flexible schedule, which means I can easily adjust to meet your pet’s needs! I’m also a runner and love bringing high-energy pups along for safe, fun runs. Whether your pet prefers morning walks, evening strolls, or anything in between, I’m happy to make it work. Just let me know what your pet loves, and I’ll be there! Whether your pet is staying with me or I’m caring for them in your home, I do everything I can to make them feel safe, loved, and at ease. I’ll follow their usual routine and am happy to accommodate any special needs, like anxiety, senior care, or training reinforcement. If they’re staying with me, they’ll get a true home away from home. My own dog is a rescue, and I’ve done everything to make him feel secure, loved, and supported, and I’ll treat your pup the same way. He’s super friendly and ranges from total couch potato to full-on zoomies. He also loves welcoming new buddies into our home. With my flexible grad school schedule, your dog will get plenty of attention, activity, and a front-row seat to whatever show I’m currently binging - whatever they need most! When I’m in your home, I’ll treat your space and routines with care and respect. You’ll get regular updates and cute pics so you can relax knowing your pet’s in great hands!

“I am incredibly happy with the service provided by her! They are always punctual, friendly, and show genuine care for my dog. My dog loves her walks and always comes back happy and tired. I really appreciate their reliability and the peace of mind knowing my dog is in good hands. Highly recommend!”

“Rachel was amazing during her check ins with my kitties! She was very communicative, sent plenty of pictures, and went above and beyond cleaning and making sure my babies were taken care of.”

“Novia informed me that she was available to cat-sit for another day as our flight would arrive late and we were more than happy to have our cats’ needs be addressed. Novia was also communicative throughout our interaction on the app. Our cats and everything in our place were well cared for.”

About: I’ve been around dogs since early childhood — they’ve always been part of my family. My own dog lived with me for 16 years, and throughout my life I’ve cared for pets with love, patience, and attention to their needs. I’m calm, responsible, and truly love spending time with animals. I recently moved from Ukraine and now live in Irvine. I would be happy to care for your furry friend as if they were my own. I currently have a flexible schedule and plenty of free time throughout the day — mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Pet care easily fits into my daily routine, and I always make sure each dog gets individual attention and love. I'm available most days, including weekends. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always keep a close eye on the animals and make sure they feel calm, safe, and well cared for. I follow the owner's instructions, respect each pet's habits, and maintain open communication. From my own experience, I know that every animal has its own personality, so I act gently, with attention and care. My own dog lived to be 16 years old. In her final months, she lost the ability to walk, and I cared for her daily with patience and love. This experience taught me how to support senior dogs and those with special needs. I speak Ukrainian and Russian, and I use a translator to communicate in English.

About: Animals have been my passion for as long as I can remember! Growing up, I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian simply so I could spend my days surrounded by animals. While my career took a different path, my love for pets never faded, which is what led me to Rover. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Whether your pup loves a slow stroll, high-energy playtime, or simply cuddling on the couch, I’m happy to match their vibe! I’m especially gentle with senior dogs and love providing a calm, nurturing environment that makes them feel safe and loved. I treat every animal I care for as if they were my own! I’d love to create a consistent routine with pet parents who need early morning or evening care. I’m available before work (6–7am) or after work (5–7pm) on weekdays. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy, and I find spending time with animals to be the perfect, calming start or end to my day! I’m committed to showing up reliably and giving each visit my full attention and care!! Since I offer drop-in visits and dog walking, I always focus on maintaining a safe, comfortable environment in the pet’s own home. I follow all instructions closely, double-check gates and doors, and make sure your pet feels relaxed and secure. I also give regular updates and photos so you know your pet is happy and cared for. Trust and transparency matter deeply to me, your pet is truly in good hands!

About: I’ve grown up with both cats and dogs! Outside of my own pets, I have had experience in both dog/cat sitting and house sitting for friends and family. From my past experiences, I have built close and trusting relationships with both animals and owners. I’m responsible, have great communication skills, and tend to be flexible with scheduling. I just graduated from college and I’m free these upcoming months (June-Aug.) for pet sitting and house sitting! My schedule is very flexible, so I’m open to daily and weekly check ups. I’m open to caring for each animal based on the owners requests and desires! I’m naturally a nurturing person so paying close attention to animals are my top priority!

About: I have a Ragdoll cat who was born blind, and I’ve been taking really good care of her. Over time, I’ve learned how to help her feel safe and confident by keeping her environment consistent and being extra gentle with her. I really love cats—they’ve always been a big part of my life, and I enjoy building trust with each one. I also help take care of my friend’s senior dog, so I’m familiar with the extra love, patience, and slower pace that older pups need. I’m a PhD student at UCI and have a pretty flexible schedule, so I can be around during the day to check in, give attention, and make sure your pet feels safe and cared for. I’m a PhD student at UCI and have a pretty flexible schedule—and I sometimes work from home, so I can be around during the day to check in, give attention, and make sure your pet feels safe and cared for. I take time to get to know each pet’s personality and routine so they can feel at ease with me. I keep their environment calm, quiet, and consistent—especially important for pets that are anxious, senior, or have special needs, like my own disabled Ragdoll cat.

About: I've had my dog since I was 11, and he's a happy senior boy still healthy and kicking it. I've done a lot of research for him over the years to give him the best care I can. He's gone through cancer and heart failure and is still happy and healthy, and I love him with my whole heart. I'm currently a student in research, but I always have time to take care of my pets. I'll even come back home if needed so I can feed them/take my dog out, and I play with my cat everyday. Whenever I drop in, I can spend some time with your pet so they're not lonely (unless they want to be left alone). I can also give them a treat before I leave, take them out, feed them, clean litter boxes for cats, anything that is needed.

About: I live on a farm and have taken care of animals most of my life, including dogs, cats, chickens, and cows. I've also stayed over at some of my friends houses to take care of their dogs whenever they leave on trips and need a sitter. I'm currently on summer break from college and have plenty of time to take care of your pets throughout the day and even overnight if wanted. I can take care of your pet in your own home in whatever way you would like. I am happy to take dogs on walks and play with any animals. I will also abide by any house rules or routines that I am told.

About: I have had many of my own pets, both cats and dogs, so I understand how to care for them and their specific personalities. I currently have two cats that are extremely friendly and affectionate with both cats and dogs. I currently work from home and thus have tons of availability and time to care for your pets specific needs! This also allows me to provide them with the best care possible! I have multiple toys both automatic and manual so your pets will be entertained and happy while they stay with me! I have an entirely separate room to ensure your pet adjusts at their own pace and has their own space. I love going on walks, playing and cuddling with all pets. I will care for your pets as if they are my own while I have them! I also have multiple cat trees as well as a built in catio!

“Miranda has taken excellent care of my Dachshund, Polly, on many occasions. I know when Polly is with Miranda, I don't have to worry about a thing and I know Polly is having a great time playing in Miranda's backyard, going for walks, and cuddling on the couch. Miranda goes above and beyond when she cares for dogs, like the time when she gave Polly a bath when she got dirty so I had a clean dog to pick up after my vacation. Miranda is communicative, trustworthy, follows all care instructions, and is a wonderful, dog-loving person. I highly recommend Miranda as a dog sitter!”

Anna C.
“I’m excited to recommend Anna as a new pet caregiver on Rover.com. Having and helping to take care of her own dogs growing up, she will be a very caring and loving caregiver to other people’s dogs. She taught herself how to groom our golden retriever and does a nice job. I hope River.com customers will give her a chance to take care of their pets.”
