About: Update June 1, 2026. I have taken a part-time job and right now I can only accept cat drop in requests . Unfortunately I can’t commit to dog walking because of this part-time job unless it’s on the weekend. I am answering as a pet owner. I am hoping to start working as a pet sitter/dog walker soon. As a kid we had birds and hamsters, then graduated to cats when I was about 14. As a young adult I usually had up to 4 cats at the same time. When my kids were in high school, my husband introduced me to dogs by re-homing a dog named Lucy. We still have her. I had never had dogs before but I am so glad I did not say NO to hubby at the time. We have 2 dogs now but no cats. I do miss having cats and hope to again some day. I left my job of 34 years and would love to do something I have been wanting to do for a long time but never got around to. I am happy to care for cats too! At my house we have invisible fence to keep the dogs from leaving the yard, though our younger dog needs to be on a long lead because he is so excitable and cannot always be trusted to stay in the yard. We also have invisible fence inside to keep both dogs out of the kitchen.

About: I have owned dogs (and periodically cats) my entire life. Family, friends, and neighbors regularly turn to me when in need of pet care. I recently moved to Ohio from Dallas where I was known by work colleagues and friends as the “street dog whisperer.” Every day after work I would spend hours finding and rescuing street dogs by myself. I have fostered many dogs over the years in Dallas and volunteered at our overcrowded animal shelter on the weekends. I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages and sizes, and have experience caring for dogs with injuries (e.g., broken bones) and respiratory infections commonly contracted in shelters. In terms of my profession, I am a clinical psychologist. Since moving here from Dallas I am searching for full time employment, so I currently have flexible availability to provide care to your pets as they deserve! I am patient, caring, conscientious, and the love I hold for animals is a core part of who I am. I would love to care for your pets and provide you with peace of mind, whether it be for a 30 minute walk or a weekend stay. Since moving here I am searching for full time employment. Given that, I have a very flexible schedule during weekdays and weekends to provide care for your pets. In your home it’s your rules! I will follow the instructions provided regarding the proper care for your pet in your home (e.g., using a crate, proper feeding & exercise schedule, rules regarding pets on furniture, etc).

About: I am currently a Second Year Veterinary Student at N.C. State CVM and an employee at Animal Emergency Hospital & Urgent Care! I have 10+ years of experience with a variety of different species ( dogs, cats, rabbits, turtles, ferrets, bearded dragons, tortoises, snakes, cows, horses, goats, sheep, pigs, and chickens). With that said, I have experience providing ear, eye, skin, oral, and SQ medications, assisting in post operative care/critical care, providing medicated baths/non-medicated baths, helping our older friends walk and go to the bathroom, taking dogs on walks and to the dog park, and aiding in training routines/commands. Additionally my goal, is for you to feel comfortable in knowing your pet/home is well taken care of. I love to send text/picture updates, and I do not mind watering plants and bringing in the mail. I currently work one-two days a week on the weekends (I make my own schedule so if you book ahead we shouldn’t interfere) and I am in class 8-5pm M-F for class. I have time to take pets on walks before class/work, during my lunch break at noon-1pm, and after work or class. I work as a overnight pet sitter periodically where I stay over ones house and follow a list of instructions provided by thee owner, having time to take out the pet in the morning, again ( if a dog(s)) around 12-1pm. As class begins again at 1:10pm. I additionally can take pets on walks after school, as instructed or requested by the owner. If it is a cat(s), I get everything set before I leave the home and make it back at night. I can also stop by homes and administer medications and provide walks as needed to animals for day of visits. Ensuring I send you picture updates and texts throughout the day!

About: I have worked on two different farms! Ranging from exotic animals to farm animals, taking care of them, feeding them, doing enrichment, going on walks, and being their advocate. I love every animal equally, ranging from big to small. I can assure you, your pet is safe in my hands I currently work a part time job as a manager on the farm, and have very flexible hours. I mostly work weekends and Mondays on the farm I have a puppy at home who is super friendly. I also have a bunny and reptiles who are all caged in. I do not have a fenced in area at my apartment but I don’t mind going on walks to let some energy out. My apartment is a townhome, and has 2 levels.

About: Patient with dogs, especially puppies, because I recently went through the puppy training stage with my dog. This level of patience also comes in handy for senior dogs. I have flexibility in my current schedule; therefore, I'd like to make the most of helping fellow dog owners. I've learned first hand that sometimes it takes a village. About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life. I’m currently 19, so 19 years of loving dogs all sizes and breeds. I’ve actually dog sat for 3 family friends here and there for about 5 years and would love to do the same for someone else who may need it as well!! I’m currently in school to become a vet technician as well! I love animals any kind and would love to get to love your animals just like they’re my own!! About: Hello! For my whole life, I’ve been taking care of several family dogs and cats, foster dogs and cats, and for the past 3 years I have a cat of my own! I foster cats, kittens, dogs, and cats whenever I can, and sometimes take care of pets of my friends and family members! I am experienced with taking care of bigger dogs and dogs that are very high energy and excitable as well. I also have experience with giving medicine to dogs and cats. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns, I look forward to hearing from you! I work part time and only have online classes, so my schedule is very flexible. I can always rearrange my schedule to take care of animals if needed. I have a huge fenced yarded for cats and dogs to run around and play. I also have plenty of rooms in my house for animals to stay.

About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs growing up as well as friends dogs over the years. I walk / hike a lot and love being outside, if your dogs are comfortable at parks I’d love to take them out ! My friends and family have relied on me a lot for holidays and special occasions or to just check in while they work to take them on a walk or for some pets / play time. I always send photos for updates on how the fur babies are doing during our visits :) I’m very reliable and have a flexible work schedule that I know 2-3 weeks in advance.
