My 16‑year‑old baby boy chihuahua Harley taught me everything about caring for a truly high‑maintenance senior dog. I also shared my life with my 11 year old Labrador-baby girl Lexi- who recently passed away from cancer on 5/19. About: Since being retired, I have plenty of time to help dog owners. I’m available to board, sit or walk your dog. Whatever I can do to help. I’m retired so I have the time. It helps pass the time. I lost my fur baby a few years ago after having him for 12 years. I have a fenced in yard and no current animals so each of the animals will have my undivided attention. I can gladly take care of them.

Julien was very kind and respectful, but I do wish he communicated more. I let him know at drop off and explained in the care notes for our dog that she sometimes resource guards her food, and what to do if that happens. He said he would message if he needed anything, so I assumed all was well when no messages came through. She had some food left in her kennel with her when he left for the store, and when he returned, she was growling and resource guarding. Scary - I get it. I totally understand being afraid to get near her kennel when she’s like that, but I wish he would’ve told us this was happening. We could have talked him through exactly what to do in that situation, but instead she stayed in her kennel for about 24 hours. Again, I totally understand the fear and hesitance, but communication could have prevented her from not being able to eat, drink, or relieve herself for an entire day. She’s been through a lot, and it honestly sucked to find out she had been left like that when we picked her up. I do believe Julien is a very good and responsible person, and he is deserving of trust when caring for animals. Communication is all that he needs to work on, and I trust that he will move differently moving forward.
