“Susan and Kenny were so great with our 6 month old puppy. I was a little nervous about leaving him for the first time, but Susan kept me updated each day with photos and how he was doing. She made me feel at ease knowing he was having fun with them and playing with the other dogs. I don’t think he wanted to leave when he got picked up! I know that he was in a very loving home while I was out of town, and that’s everything I can ask for! Definitely recommend and will be staying with Susan again.”

They shared any concerns they observed during the stay and checked in to make sure it was normal behavior and one of our dogs health was okay. They were amazing and accomodating. About: Since being retired, I have plenty of time to help dog owners. I’m available to board, sit or walk your dog. Whatever I can do to help. I’m retired so I have the time. It helps pass the time. I lost my fur baby a few years ago after having him for 12 years. I have a fenced in yard and no current animals so each of the animals will have my undivided attention. I can gladly take care of them.

Julien was very kind and respectful, but I do wish he communicated more. I let him know at drop off and explained in the care notes for our dog that she sometimes resource guards her food, and what to do if that happens. He said he would message if he needed anything, so I assumed all was well when no messages came through. She had some food left in her kennel with her when he left for the store, and when he returned, she was growling and resource guarding. Scary - I get it. I totally understand being afraid to get near her kennel when she’s like that, but I wish he would’ve told us this was happening. We could have talked him through exactly what to do in that situation, but instead she stayed in her kennel for about 24 hours. Again, I totally understand the fear and hesitance, but communication could have prevented her from not being able to eat, drink, or relieve herself for an entire day. She’s been through a lot, and it honestly sucked to find out she had been left like that when we picked her up. I do believe Julien is a very good and responsible person, and he is deserving of trust when caring for animals. Communication is all that he needs to work on, and I trust that he will move differently moving forward.
