Cat Sitting in Twinsburg

About: Update June 1, 2026. I have taken a part-time job and right now I can only accept cat drop in requests . Unfortunately I can’t commit to dog walking because of this part-time job unless it’s on the weekend. I am answering as a pet owner. I am hoping to start working as a pet sitter/dog walker soon. As a kid we had birds and hamsters, then graduated to cats when I was about 14. As a young adult I usually had up to 4 cats at the same time. When my kids were in high school, my husband introduced me to dogs by re-homing a dog named Lucy. We still have her. I had never had dogs before but I am so glad I did not say NO to hubby at the time. We have 2 dogs now but no cats. I do miss having cats and hope to again some day. I left my job of 34 years and would love to do something I have been wanting to do for a long time but never got around to. I am happy to care for cats too! At my house we have invisible fence to keep the dogs from leaving the yard, though our younger dog needs to be on a long lead because he is so excitable and cannot always be trusted to stay in the yard. We also have invisible fence inside to keep both dogs out of the kitchen.

HOT WEATHER: for dog-friendly clients, i am able to provide outings to low stress trips to uncrowded, pet-friendly stores/facilities for stimulation and enrichment (including a potty break outside before and after, of course!) i am also happy to walk earlier/later in the day to avoid the heat as well! i also enjoy keeping pets company in home, whether its playing with toys, using lick mats, or just spending some time together! because i work evening and overnight shifts, i have guaranteed availability every morning and midday for your dog’s routine. whether you need a recurring daily walker or a same-day visit because you’re running late, i'm local and ready to jump in! my current job is closing in a few months, so i’ll be even more available for your schedule soon :) in public, i use a short-leash grip, stay hyper-aware of our surroundings without distractions like phones/technology of any kind (aside from photos, of course!), and avoid unknown dogs to keep your pup protected. i pride myself on being a trustworthy, punctual communicator, providing frequent photo updates so you’re always in the loop. i am very confident in my ability to kennel/leash pets & i consider myself well-versed in administering medication. i am keen when reading animal stress signals, ensuring your pet feels safe and understood under my care! as of early may, i am taking dog training certification courses to better my understanding and confidence in dog training :)

About: I’m a reliable and caring pet sitter who treats every animal like my own. I have always had pets growing up and I always help out my family and friends with taking care of their pets while they are away. I have experience with dogs, cats, puppies, and senior pets, including feeding, basic training, and giving medications. What sets me apart is my patience and attention to each pet’s needs, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I work in retail, so I can take care of your pets in the mornings and evenings. Occasionally, I’ll get off work in the early afternoon, so I’m also available in the afternoons. About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs of all sizes and personalities, and there has always been a dog in my household. I currently have a Weimaraner at home and a cat with me at college. Over the years, I’ve helped family, friends, and Rover clients care for, walk, and feed both dogs and cats. I’ve also attended dog training sessions with my former chocolate lab, so I’m familiar with various training techniques. I’m comfortable walking larger dogs, having done so for friends, family, and Rover clients. With my own very active dog, I thrive with puppies and love staying active outdoors! I follow routines such as crate training or only staying on a certain story of a house. I always follow the feeding schedule that is provided and only allow clients animals to eat food/treats that are listed by clients.
