Cat Sitting in Solon

About: I am a lifelong pet owner with dog-walking experience of up to four dogs at a time. I have administered medications and have nothing but love for the senior pets. I also have experience with cats and small animals like hamsters and large iguanas. I will keep you informed about your pet and make sure I love them as my own! I have current availability for mornings only, between the hours of 9:00am to 12:pm (ish). That will soon increase when my school schedule ends in May. I have no problems giving reports about poo/pee, potty accidents in the home, demeanor of the pet during our time together, etc. I will have bags with me for picking up after your pup(s) on walks if needed. I have a lot of experience with dogs who don't get along with bikes, other people & dogs, and things that are encountered along our route. I work hard to develop a trusting relationship with your pet(s) and to make sure they feel loved at every visit.

About: Update June 1, 2026. I have taken a part-time job and right now I can only accept cat drop in requests . Unfortunately I can’t commit to dog walking because of this part-time job unless it’s on the weekend. I am answering as a pet owner. I am hoping to start working as a pet sitter/dog walker soon. As a kid we had birds and hamsters, then graduated to cats when I was about 14. As a young adult I usually had up to 4 cats at the same time. When my kids were in high school, my husband introduced me to dogs by re-homing a dog named Lucy. We still have her. I had never had dogs before but I am so glad I did not say NO to hubby at the time. We have 2 dogs now but no cats. I do miss having cats and hope to again some day. I left my job of 34 years and would love to do something I have been wanting to do for a long time but never got around to. I am happy to care for cats too! At my house we have invisible fence to keep the dogs from leaving the yard, though our younger dog needs to be on a long lead because he is so excitable and cannot always be trusted to stay in the yard. We also have invisible fence inside to keep both dogs out of the kitchen.

About: My family previously owned well regarded doggy day care. I have also cared for my families pets my whole life, including the birth and care of 3 kittens. I am available in the mornings before 7-8:30am and after 4pm-5pm depending on the day Monday-Saturday. I will know the exact times the Saturday prior to the upcoming week. HOT WEATHER: for dog-friendly clients, i am able to provide outings to low stress trips to uncrowded, pet-friendly stores/facilities for stimulation and enrichment (including a potty break outside before and after, of course!) i am also happy to walk earlier/later in the day to avoid the heat as well! i also enjoy keeping pets company in home, whether its playing with toys, using lick mats, or just spending some time together! because i work evening and overnight shifts, i have guaranteed availability every morning and midday for your dog’s routine. whether you need a recurring daily walker or a same-day visit because you’re running late, i'm local and ready to jump in! my current job is closing in a few months, so i’ll be even more available for your schedule soon :) in public, i use a short-leash grip, stay hyper-aware of our surroundings without distractions like phones/technology of any kind (aside from photos, of course!), and avoid unknown dogs to keep your pup protected. i pride myself on being a trustworthy, punctual communicator, providing frequent photo updates so you’re always in the loop. i am very confident in my ability to kennel/leash pets & i consider myself well-versed in administering medication. i am keen when reading animal stress signals, ensuring your pet feels safe and understood under my care! as of early may, i am taking dog training certification courses to better my understanding and confidence in dog training :)

About: I am a true animal lover and if I could take home all the animals at the shelter, I would! I grew up with dogs and have dog sat for a handful of neighbor dogs. I have volunteered at animal shelters and am always willing to walk or sit for my friends or families' pets. I love all different sizes, shapes and breeds! For dogs that are not able to walk long distances, due to disabilities or other reasons, I am more than happy to cuddle and spend time with them at home! I’m currently searching for a new job so I have a lot of time to play, walk, and cuddle with your dog (if your dog enjoys that)! About: I live in an apartment at Kent State and am back and forth from Solon in the summer! My dog at my parents home is very reactive and we have been with many trainers to calm him down. I have much experience with dogs like him and learned from trainers. I have sat for various owners over the last few years and always enjoy keeping animals company! I am a college student! I live in a pet friendly apartment with a nice outside area. I have a very open schedule and would be open to helping anyone out at any time! I always make sure to have the pet's water and food stalked up and clean up the surrounding areas for the owner. I always make sure to leave the space looking better than when I arrived. I cannot house pets at my home due to my reactive animal but I am 100% willing to come to you!

About: I have a sweet beagle that was rescued 7 years ago. I am fully responsible for his care, including feeding, walking, bathing, nail trimming, etc. I always check him for ticks after visiting a park and know how to safely remove them. I enjoy going for long walks, especially in summer, so would be glad to give your dog exercise. My kids have had goats, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, and ducks, which are all fun to play with, and I would be glad to care for your less-typical pets, if needed. I have even cared for lizards and snakes. I am a teacher, so have loads of time available in the summer. During the school year, I am available most weekends and after 4 on weekdays. I always keep dogs on leash when walking them...you never know when a squirrel or other dog will come by or how they will react.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats my whole life. I have a cat of my own right now but before that I had 3 dogs! Had a pitbull-lab mix, a Shih Tzu, and a lab. Right now I dog sitting for some friends and family as well as friends of friends. It’s one of my favorite things to do I love hanging out with animals! I work from 2-6 everyday nannying with classes on Tuesday mornings and Wednesday mid-day. But other than that dog sitting is basically a full time job. I have a cat already and have had dogs the other part of my life so I’m no stranger to animals. I have also gone to pet training classes for my friends dog with her and taught the dog, Luca, many tricks and commands that he uses to this day.
