I have owned dogs (and periodically cats) my entire life. Family, friends, and neighbors regularly turn to me when in need of pet care. I recently moved to Ohio from Dallas where I was known by work colleagues and friends as the “street dog whisperer.” Every day after work I would spend hours finding and rescuing street dogs by myself. I have fostered many dogs over the years in Dallas and volunteered at our overcrowded animal shelter on the weekends. I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages and sizes, and have experience caring for dogs with injuries (e.g., broken bones) and respiratory infections commonly contracted in shelters. In terms of my profession, I am a clinical psychologist. Since moving here from Dallas I am searching for full time employment, so I currently have flexible availability to provide care to your pets as they deserve! I am patient, caring, conscientious, and the love I hold for animals is a core part of who I am. I would love to care for your pets and provide you with peace of mind, whether it be for a 30 minute walk or a weekend stay.

In your home it’s your rules! I will follow the instructions provided regarding the proper care for your pet in your home (e.g., using a crate, proper feeding & exercise schedule, rules regarding pets on furniture, etc).

Monica has taken care of 2 of my dogs - one old and deaf and one young and exuberant- as well as my grumpy cat. She is patient and kind with them and they've all loved her. She has stayed at my home and I feel totally comfortable and safe with her here. I've hired other pet sitters in the past who have worked out fine but none have matched the care provided by Monica. She will send pictures / videos to me and simply keep me updated daily on how everyone is doing. Obviously, I am highly recommending her!
’ve known Monica since college, and she is truly one of the most caring and responsible people I know, especially when it comes to animals. Schedule
Since moving here I am searching for full time employment. Given that, I have a very flexible schedule during weekdays and weekends to provide care for your pets.
