About: I grew up with dogs and have years of experience looking after them for friends, family and TrustedHousesitters clients prior to joining Rover (and a lot of experience with cats now too!). I have nearly twenty 5-star reviews on TrustedHousesitters for dog and cat sitting. It’s no problem at all to forward the link to my profile there upon request. I have been semi-nomadic for the last several years and would not have a day job to report to, nor any work from home obligations during a sit. When I sit at a pet-owner’s home I take pride in leaving the house or apartment in better shape than I found it. I try to be as unobtrusive as possible while taking great care of the pets.

“Nate stayed with our 7 month old goldendoodle, Pippin, while we took a 3-day trip in August. Admittedly Pippin is big, but still very much a puppy needing supervision and lots of exercise. Nate texted us regular updates and took Pip on walks/adventures just like I would do normally if we were home. He put up with Pip following him throughout our house (bc really, are you ever alone if you have a goldendoodle?) like a shadow. It was hard to leave our baby, but we were so happy knowing he was at home with his new BFF Nate. :) I will not hesitate to book Nate again next time we travel-- he even met & received rave reviews from our neighbors!”

About: I've lived with and loved dogs since I was a small child, starting with my Golden Retriever. I have decades of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and needs. I love to walk them, take them to the park, and play with them in the yard. I also have several years of experience fostering and housing puppies. My availability is very flexible as I work from home. I will be around to make sure your dog gets the care and attention it needs, whether on a walk, at a check in, or at an overnight stay. The animals that live in my house are all very friendly with other dogs. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to send me a message! I make my own work schedule, so I'm incredibly flexible when it comes walking and sitting for dogs. I can take days off at a time if that's what's needed to get the job done! I care for dogs in their owners' home or on walks according to the owners needs and desires. Respecting the wishes of the dog owner is paramount: they know best.

“Drew was great with my dogs. My dog was limping and he contacted me right away to see if she was limping earlier. I said no. So he contacted a vet tech friend and searched her foot until he found a little spur that was causing her to limp. He didn't let this go, but figured out what was wrong. He took my dogs for walks and took really good care of them. I scheduled him for another stay.”
