About: Update June 1, 2026. I have taken a part-time job and right now I can only accept cat drop in requests . Unfortunately I can’t commit to dog walking because of this part-time job unless it’s on the weekend. I am answering as a pet owner. I am hoping to start working as a pet sitter/dog walker soon. As a kid we had birds and hamsters, then graduated to cats when I was about 14. As a young adult I usually had up to 4 cats at the same time. When my kids were in high school, my husband introduced me to dogs by re-homing a dog named Lucy. We still have her. I had never had dogs before but I am so glad I did not say NO to hubby at the time. We have 2 dogs now but no cats. I do miss having cats and hope to again some day. I left my job of 34 years and would love to do something I have been wanting to do for a long time but never got around to. I am happy to care for cats too! At my house we have invisible fence to keep the dogs from leaving the yard, though our younger dog needs to be on a long lead because he is so excitable and cannot always be trusted to stay in the yard. We also have invisible fence inside to keep both dogs out of the kitchen.

I make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise, playtime, bathroom breaks, and, of course, lots of love and attention. About: I have tons of experience taking care of numerous dogs from when I babysat during high school and college years. I currently have a 10 year old bichon frise named Bentley, who is updated on all of his shots and am very knowledgeable in training, walking, feeding, health, and playing with dogs. About: I’m a champion for human & pets alike. Familial animals have been apart of my life since I was a young child and the subsequent years into my adulthood. I’ve assisted in the basic obedience training of 10+ dogs both in youth & elder-hood; temporarily lived with anxious pups whilst their parents traveled out of state; & I’ve formed genuine bonds with clients’ pets that I’ve routinely walked and tended to for years now.
