About: Update June 1, 2026. I have taken a part-time job and right now I can only accept cat drop in requests . Unfortunately I can’t commit to dog walking because of this part-time job unless it’s on the weekend. I am answering as a pet owner. I am hoping to start working as a pet sitter/dog walker soon. As a kid we had birds and hamsters, then graduated to cats when I was about 14. As a young adult I usually had up to 4 cats at the same time. When my kids were in high school, my husband introduced me to dogs by re-homing a dog named Lucy. We still have her. I had never had dogs before but I am so glad I did not say NO to hubby at the time. We have 2 dogs now but no cats. I do miss having cats and hope to again some day. I left my job of 34 years and would love to do something I have been wanting to do for a long time but never got around to. I am happy to care for cats too! At my house we have invisible fence to keep the dogs from leaving the yard, though our younger dog needs to be on a long lead because he is so excitable and cannot always be trusted to stay in the yard. We also have invisible fence inside to keep both dogs out of the kitchen.

About: I have a sweet beagle that was rescued 7 years ago. I am fully responsible for his care, including feeding, walking, bathing, nail trimming, etc. I always check him for ticks after visiting a park and know how to safely remove them. I enjoy going for long walks, especially in summer, so would be glad to give your dog exercise. My kids have had goats, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, and ducks, which are all fun to play with, and I would be glad to care for your less-typical pets, if needed. I have even cared for lizards and snakes. I am a teacher, so have loads of time available in the summer. During the school year, I am available most weekends and after 4 on weekdays. I always keep dogs on leash when walking them...you never know when a squirrel or other dog will come by or how they will react.

About: I grew up always having a pet in the house and have about 4 years of experience pet-sitting for neighbors. I helped with potty training and basic obedience training for my active mini labradoodle, Maisy! I’m an OSU student home for the summer and am currently pretty flexible! In June, I work Monday through Wednesday during the day but am otherwise available throughout the week. I’m happy to learn about your dog’s individual needs and make sure their environment is as safe as possible! Just please communicate with me :)

About: Since being retired, I have plenty of time to help dog owners. I’m available to board, sit or walk your dog. Whatever I can do to help. I’m retired so I have the time. It helps pass the time. I lost my fur baby a few years ago after having him for 12 years. I have a fenced in yard and no current animals so each of the animals will have my undivided attention. I can gladly take care of them.

About: I have experience with dogs, cats, bunnies, and birds. Some of the specialized care I have done is both dog and bunnies post spay surgery and senior dog care. I’m looking forward to meeting your fur babies! I work part time on the weekends so I am available weekday afternoons & evenings. About: I live in an apartment at Kent State and am back and forth from Solon in the summer! My dog at my parents home is very reactive and we have been with many trainers to calm him down. I have much experience with dogs like him and learned from trainers. I have sat for various owners over the last few years and always enjoy keeping animals company! I am a college student! I live in a pet friendly apartment with a nice outside area. I have a very open schedule and would be open to helping anyone out at any time! I always make sure to have the pet's water and food stalked up and clean up the surrounding areas for the owner. I always make sure to leave the space looking better than when I arrived. I cannot house pets at my home due to my reactive animal but I am 100% willing to come to you!

About: Hi! I’ve been a dog lover my whole life and have rescued many dogs over the years. I also grew up with dogs during my childhood. The last six we’ve owned have been rescues. I'm looking for part-time work doing some type of care for other's dogs, whether it be caring for them in their own home while the family is on vacation or letting them out during the day while the owner works. I'm available most days for overnight stays (based on availability) and most days for walks and drop-in visits, if they need to be let out or just played with for a while. I now own two small dogs. They are a Cavachon that we got at the age of 8 weeks and a Yorkie mix we adopted when he was 3. The Cavachon’s name is Cooper and in 2025 he turned 4. He was a breeder surrender because he wasn’t “perfect,” meaning he was born without his right front paw. He gets around fine and loves other dogs and people. The second little guy is Boomer, a Yorkie mix who is 4 now. They are both dog and people friendly. I'm hoping to share my love for dogs with others who need help caring for theirs. I’m very allergic to cats so I can’t help with them. Small dogs only. I have experience giving medications and also giving insulin shots, because one of my dogs was diabetic.
