About: I have grown up with dogs and have a 2 year old cat named Milo. I’ve helped friends and family watching their pets while out of town for over 10 years. I am currently working part-time, so I can be flexible with your schedule. Please contact me for more details. I am frequently available 9 AM - 5 PM M-F, and most weekends too. I will follow your instructions to the best of my ability and give frequent photo and text updates! I have experienced many different personalities and will make sure you come home to a happy buddy!
About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. When a couple of years ago we lost our senior family dog, I started volunteering with a local rescue and have fostered 20+ puppies over the past few years. Fostering has given me experience with everything from energetic, playful pups to post-surgery care—things like baths, basic grooming, medications (even injections), vet pickups, and lots of patience and love. I also help neighbors with dog walking and pet sitting, so I’m used to different personalities and routines. I truly just love being around dogs—and getting outside for walks is a bonus for me too! I’m available for afternoon and evening walks or check-ins during the week. On weekends, I have much more flexibility and I am available throughout the day for walks, check-ins, or multiple visits if needed. I’m also happy to stick to your dogs’s usual routine to keep them comfortable and happy. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. During walks and check-ins, I follow your instructions closely, keep dogs secure on leash, and make sure they get the right balance of exercise, attention, and care. I’m attentive, reliable, and treat every pet like my own.
“Molly has been so great for my dogs! She does a great job with my “problem” golden, Bella. I love the detailed report cards. It’s been such a relief for me to have her when I travel for work. She is Highly recommended.”

About: Hi! I’m Maria, and caring for animals isn’t just something I do, it’s something I’ve dedicated years of my life to. I have over 10 years of hands on experience working with dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities. From energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a slower pace, I understand that every pet deserves care that’s tailored specifically to them. My partner and I work together as a team, which means your pets receive twice the attention, care, and reliability. Having two experienced animal lovers allows us to be flexible with scheduling and provide consistent, dependable care for your pets, whether you’re away for the day or an extended vacation. I offer: • Dog Walking • Drop-In Visits • House Sitting • Overnight Boarding • Puppy Care • Senior Dog Care • Medication Administration (if needed) • Lots of playtime, cuddles, enrichment, and exercise! I’ve cared for everything from tiny toy breeds to giant breeds, including dogs with anxiety, high energy, special routines, and unique personalities. I also have experience with cats and other household pets, so if your family includes more than just dogs, they’re in great hands too. When your pet stays with us or we care for them in your home, they’re treated like family. We stick to their normal routine as closely as possible because we know consistency helps pets feel safe and comfortable. Whether that means long walks, endless games of fetch, quiet cuddle time, or simply keeping them company, we adjust our care to what makes your pet happiest. As pet owners ourselves, we understand how difficult it can be to trust someone with a member of your family. That’s why communication is one of our top priorities. You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy, loved, and well cared for. Our goal isn’t just to watch your pet. We want to become someone both you and your furry family member can trust for years to come. We’d love the opportunity to meet you and provide the same love, patience, and attention we give our own pets every single day. We can’t wait to meet your best friend! 🐾 One of us works full time, however the other stays at home and focuses on animals and etc. We’re always able to be flexible and accommodate everyone’s needs We always make sure to meet prior to bookings and if needed or wanted to I do like to send pictures and videos of your fur babies while in my care. I know everyone misses their little babies.
About: I have a sweet beagle that was rescued 7 years ago. I am fully responsible for his care, including feeding, walking, bathing, nail trimming, etc. I always check him for ticks after visiting a park and know how to safely remove them. I enjoy going for long walks, especially in summer, so would be glad to give your dog exercise. My kids have had goats, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, and ducks, which are all fun to play with, and I would be glad to care for your less-typical pets, if needed. I have even cared for lizards and snakes. I am a teacher, so have loads of time available in the summer. During the school year, I am available most weekends and after 4 on weekdays. I always keep dogs on leash when walking them...you never know when a squirrel or other dog will come by or how they will react.
About: I am a caring and patient person that works on a farm with all sorts of animals including dogs, cats, chickens, and ducks. I'm excited to care for your animals! My work day on the farm is short and I am available mornings, afternoons, and evenings to care for your animals playing, feeding, and walking. I am a reliable, trustworthy, and responsible worker capable of moving in and out of your home in a caring manner using safety and security measures that you see fit.
About: I’ve provided care for animals since I was a young child. Successfully completed a basic dog training course at Alaska SPCA in 2016. My skill ranges from walks to grooming, I’ve got you covered! Currently, I’m working full-time with free availability Sunday through Tuesday! I will require at least a three day notice before the date of booking. Please message me for any questions you may have! I have a balcony and plenty of space for your fur baby to lounge and play. Currently my roommate is an agreeable cat. Chai is pleasant and tolerable to other cats and small dogs.
About: I always loved animals. They come second hand in my life. I always take good care of my pets. I have a dog as well I currently delivery drive and I’m also in school. I work once a week and school once a week as well. That is the only time I have a second room and a porch to separate the pets. I have a gate at my dog as well. I have lots of supplies
About: I am a true animal lover and if I could take home all the animals at the shelter, I would! I grew up with dogs and have dog sat for a handful of neighbor dogs. I have volunteered at animal shelters and am always willing to walk or sit for my friends or families' pets. I love all different sizes, shapes and breeds! For dogs that are not able to walk long distances, due to disabilities or other reasons, I am more than happy to cuddle and spend time with them at home! I’m currently searching for a new job so I have a lot of time to play, walk, and cuddle with your dog (if your dog enjoys that)! I make sure I meet all my clients before the first official day working with their dog. I go over all important basics and question, and follow any specific protocols or rules that have.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
