About: I have over two decades of experience as a pet sitter for clients and friends. Dogs staying with me can expect lots of attention, love and walks. As a devoted companion to your companion you can expect responsive communication, care the way you request it and flexibility in scheduling. I am happy to work with pets who have quirks or special needs and am experienced in giving medication, including insulin. I am available 24/7 and will let you know in advance if there is a scheduling conflict, as far as days or time of day; I can be flexible if your schedule varies or if you extend or shorten your time away. Your pet is my priority. We will take frequent walks and spend the day together; happy to reinforce training, work on socialization, whatever is helpful for you. Care is centered around the needs of each pet, keeping to your pet's routine. My home is a ranch home (one level) with a large yard, nestled in a quiet area free of traffic and perfect for long or short walks. My house is clean and safe and I am set up and happy to do baths, shampoo and conditioner with a blow dry. Care is centered around your pet's routine. Dogs staying here leave happy and perhaps a bit spoiled.

About: I love all kinds of animals and have experience taking care of dogs, cats, horses, turtles, snakes, fish, lizards, frogs, and more! I enjoy training puppies and dogs and am happy to practice any of your dog's specific commands while at home or on walks. I grew up with dogs, and lived with cats, a four-foot long lizard, 20 fish, and two turtles in college. I would frequently pet-sit for friends with dogs or cats and I always really enjoyed it. I have experience with drop-in and overnight stays. I am currently free in the evenings, and on weekends to take care of, play with, and walk your pets. I am working regular hours Monday through Friday and love the idea of caring for, and cuddling your animals at the end of the day. For pet-sitting, I am happy to play, train, and walk dogs (or cats and other animals), and/or I can just sit with them and give them cuddles and attention while you are away. I always try to keep the animals’ spaces tidy and leave your home as clean, or cleaner, than I found it.

About: I have a sweet beagle that was rescued 7 years ago. I am fully responsible for his care, including feeding, walking, bathing, nail trimming, etc. I always check him for ticks after visiting a park and know how to safely remove them. I enjoy going for long walks, especially in summer, so would be glad to give your dog exercise. My kids have had goats, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, and ducks, which are all fun to play with, and I would be glad to care for your less-typical pets, if needed. I have even cared for lizards and snakes. I am a teacher, so have loads of time available in the summer. During the school year, I am available most weekends and after 4 on weekdays. I always keep dogs on leash when walking them...you never know when a squirrel or other dog will come by or how they will react.

I began working in animal care and animal medicine in 2003, starting at a single doctor veterinary practice and later gaining experience in shelters, training, foster care, and multi-doctor clinics with animals of all sizes. I just recently moved to the Solon, Ohio area (willing to travel but distance does adjust price), so my schedule is currently pretty open currently. I could stop in for a quick lunch time break (outside, walk & or snack) while you are at work, or if you are traveling and need someone to check a few times a day to feed & walk while you are gone, I am here for you (not currently available for overnight stays sorry). Please let me know what your needs are, timeframes, and neighborhood & see if could be a match for you and your pets needs. I can assure you I will keep your animal safe during my visits. Before heading out for walks I will make sure your pet is secured properly in either harness or collar leads, if I am letting them out and playing with them in your yard, I will check all gates to make sure they are secure and will not let you pet leave my site during visits. I can help with reinforcement of basic commands if you are working on that. Unfortunately, I am not currently offering boarding but may do so in the future.
