About: I have owned dogs (and periodically cats) my entire life. Family, friends, and neighbors regularly turn to me when in need of pet care. I recently moved to Ohio from Dallas where I was known by work colleagues and friends as the “street dog whisperer.” Every day after work I would spend hours finding and rescuing street dogs by myself. I have fostered many dogs over the years in Dallas and volunteered at our overcrowded animal shelter on the weekends. I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages and sizes, and have experience caring for dogs with injuries (e.g., broken bones) and respiratory infections commonly contracted in shelters. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
