About: I have a sweet beagle that was rescued 7 years ago. I am fully responsible for his care, including feeding, walking, bathing, nail trimming, etc. I always check him for ticks after visiting a park and know how to safely remove them. I enjoy going for long walks, especially in summer, so would be glad to give your dog exercise. My kids have had goats, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, and ducks, which are all fun to play with, and I would be glad to care for your less-typical pets, if needed. I have even cared for lizards and snakes. I am a teacher, so have loads of time available in the summer. During the school year, I am available most weekends and after 4 on weekdays. I always keep dogs on leash when walking them...you never know when a squirrel or other dog will come by or how they will react.

About: I've been dog sitting for friends and family for several years and have grown very comfortable caring for dogs of all shapes, sizes, ages, and personalities. Spending time with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy, and I always make it a priority to ensure they feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. Whether it's going for walks, playing outside, providing companionship, sticking to a feeding schedule, or simply giving extra attention and affection, I'm happy to adapt to each pet's unique needs. As an active college athlete, I have plenty of energy for long walks and playtime, but I'm also patient and attentive with dogs who prefer a calmer environment. My goal is always to provide reliable care and give pet owners peace of mind knowing their pets are in good hands. Pet care is something I take seriously, and I have a schedule that allows me to provide plenty of attention and flexibility. I work part-time as a lifeguard, which gives me the ability to take breaks throughout the day to check on pets, take dogs for walks, provide potty breaks, feed pets, or attend to any other needs they may have. In addition, I am generally available during mornings, evenings, and overnight hours, allowing me to spend quality time with pets and make sure they receive the attention, exercise, and affection they deserve. Whether your pet needs an active companion, a consistent routine, or simply someone to keep them company, I have the time and dedication to provide reliable, attentive care. My experience caring for pets comes from raising my own two rescue dogs. When my family first brought them home, they were nervous, hesitant around people, and not always easy to handle. Like many rescue animals, they needed time, patience, and consistency before they felt comfortable in their new environment. Over the years, I have helped them build confidence through daily routines, training, exercise, and plenty of love and attention. Watching them grow from uncertain rescue dogs into friendly, affectionate companions has taught me a great deal about animal care. It showed me that every pet has a unique personality and that building trust often takes patience and understanding. Today, caring for my dogs is a regular part of my life. I feed them a combination of wet and dry food twice a day, take them on walks throughout the day whenever my schedule allows, and make sure they get the exercise, attention, and affection they need to stay happy and healthy. One of my dogs also experiences seasonal allergies and requires medication during certain times of the year, so I am comfortable following care instructions and administering medications when needed. Because of these experiences, I understand the responsibility that comes with caring for someone else's pet. Whether a pet is energetic and playful, shy and reserved, young or old, I strive to provide a safe, comfortable environment where they feel secure, cared for, and loved while their owners are away.

HOT WEATHER: for dog-friendly clients, i am able to provide outings to low stress trips to uncrowded, pet-friendly stores/facilities for stimulation and enrichment (including a potty break outside before and after, of course!) i am also happy to walk earlier/later in the day to avoid the heat as well! i also enjoy keeping pets company in home, whether its playing with toys, using lick mats, or just spending some time together! because i work evening and overnight shifts, i have guaranteed availability every morning and midday for your dog’s routine. whether you need a recurring daily walker or a same-day visit because you’re running late, i'm local and ready to jump in! my current job is closing in a few months, so i’ll be even more available for your schedule soon :) in public, i use a short-leash grip, stay hyper-aware of our surroundings without distractions like phones/technology of any kind (aside from photos, of course!), and avoid unknown dogs to keep your pup protected. i pride myself on being a trustworthy, punctual communicator, providing frequent photo updates so you’re always in the loop. i am very confident in my ability to kennel/leash pets & i consider myself well-versed in administering medication. i am keen when reading animal stress signals, ensuring your pet feels safe and understood under my care! as of early may, i am taking dog training certification courses to better my understanding and confidence in dog training :)

About: My whole life I’ve been obsessed with animals. I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, horses, etc. I am a proud contributor to an animal foster and rehabilitation group. I also worked in a dog and cat boarding and daycare facility. I am used to having to take care of my foster dogs on a full time level, while also balancing other responsibilities. Additionally, I have experience distributing medications, taking care of special needs animals, animals with special food and dietary needs, etc. I am currently working part time and do online schooling! I have no issue going from work straight to your pets! I have a pretty flexible schedule and will do my best to accommodate to you and your pets needs! I treat your home and pets like I would my own. She took him out, cleaned up after him and made sure he had his meds, fresh water and food. I told her I was worried about him so she would sit with him for a little bit before she left. About: Since being retired, I have plenty of time to help dog owners. I’m available to board, sit or walk your dog. Whatever I can do to help. I’m retired so I have the time. It helps pass the time. I lost my fur baby a few years ago after having him for 12 years. I have a fenced in yard and no current animals so each of the animals will have my undivided attention. I can gladly take care of them.
