About: I have a sweet beagle that was rescued 7 years ago. I am fully responsible for his care, including feeding, walking, bathing, nail trimming, etc. I always check him for ticks after visiting a park and know how to safely remove them. I enjoy going for long walks, especially in summer, so would be glad to give your dog exercise. My kids have had goats, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, and ducks, which are all fun to play with, and I would be glad to care for your less-typical pets, if needed. I have even cared for lizards and snakes. I am a teacher, so have loads of time available in the summer. During the school year, I am available most weekends and after 4 on weekdays. I always keep dogs on leash when walking them...you never know when a squirrel or other dog will come by or how they will react.

About: Update June 1, 2026. I have taken a part-time job and right now I can only accept cat drop in requests . Unfortunately I can’t commit to dog walking because of this part-time job unless it’s on the weekend. I am answering as a pet owner. I am hoping to start working as a pet sitter/dog walker soon. As a kid we had birds and hamsters, then graduated to cats when I was about 14. As a young adult I usually had up to 4 cats at the same time. When my kids were in high school, my husband introduced me to dogs by re-homing a dog named Lucy. We still have her. I had never had dogs before but I am so glad I did not say NO to hubby at the time. We have 2 dogs now but no cats. I do miss having cats and hope to again some day. I left my job of 34 years and would love to do something I have been wanting to do for a long time but never got around to. I am happy to care for cats too! At my house we have invisible fence to keep the dogs from leaving the yard, though our younger dog needs to be on a long lead because he is so excitable and cannot always be trusted to stay in the yard. We also have invisible fence inside to keep both dogs out of the kitchen.

Whether your pet needs an active companion, a consistent routine, or simply someone to keep them company, I have the time and dedication to provide reliable, attentive care. My experience caring for pets comes from raising my own two rescue dogs. When my family first brought them home, they were nervous, hesitant around people, and not always easy to handle. Like many rescue animals, they needed time, patience, and consistency before they felt comfortable in their new environment. Over the years, I have helped them build confidence through daily routines, training, exercise, and plenty of love and attention. Watching them grow from uncertain rescue dogs into friendly, affectionate companions has taught me a great deal about animal care. It showed me that every pet has a unique personality and that building trust often takes patience and understanding. Today, caring for my dogs is a regular part of my life. I feed them a combination of wet and dry food twice a day, take them on walks throughout the day whenever my schedule allows, and make sure they get the exercise, attention, and affection they need to stay happy and healthy. One of my dogs also experiences seasonal allergies and requires medication during certain times of the year, so I am comfortable following care instructions and administering medications when needed. Because of these experiences, I understand the responsibility that comes with caring for someone else's pet. Whether a pet is energetic and playful, shy and reserved, young or old, I strive to provide a safe, comfortable environment where they feel secure, cared for, and loved while their owners are away.
About: I’ve provided care for animals since I was a young child. Successfully completed a basic dog training course at Alaska SPCA in 2016. My skill ranges from walks to grooming, I’ve got you covered! Currently, I’m working full-time with free availability Sunday through Tuesday! I will require at least a three day notice before the date of booking. Please message me for any questions you may have! I have a balcony and plenty of space for your fur baby to lounge and play. Currently my roommate is an agreeable cat. Chai is pleasant and tolerable to other cats and small dogs.
About: I’ve been walking and watching dogs since I could ride my bike around my hometown by myself. My family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers have always been able to rely on me to provide their pups with long walk or runs, feedings, baths (when needed), and endless cuddles (if consented to by said pup). I work full-time in Chagrin Falls; however, with a high-energy dog of my own, my free time is usually spent with him outside hiking or playing fetch in parks and on trails in the area. At this time I’m not offering boarding services. My apartment only allows for my service dog (PSA) to be with me there, unfortunately. But I’m more than happy to come house sit! As long as my pup Strider is welcome.
About: I have had animals my whole life and love to help take care of others’ furry friends! I have experience with lots of different breeds, ages and sizes! I work a set schedule from Monday to Friday every week so I have the ability to be available around those hours and on weekends as needed. Pets are and always will be part of the family, and are always treated as such. Plenty of love, food, care and cuddles to go around!

About: I grew up with 3 dogs (2 rhodesian ridgebacks, and one mutt). When my family travels, I often house & pet sit the dog and cats. I have experience walking dogs of many sizes, and know basic commands. I am also comfortable with cats, as I grew up with them as well. I work from my home, so I have flexibility to walk around my daily meeting schedule. I truly miss having a dog of my own, but have a tricky travel schedule that does not allow it now :( I usually know my meeting schedule a few days in advance, and in general it is pretty regular. I can usually end my day by 4 pm and start earlier, around 7 am. Looking forward to working with you and your dog!
