About: I have owned dogs (and periodically cats) my entire life. Family, friends, and neighbors regularly turn to me when in need of pet care. I recently moved to Ohio from Dallas where I was known by work colleagues and friends as the “street dog whisperer.” Every day after work I would spend hours finding and rescuing street dogs by myself. I have fostered many dogs over the years in Dallas and volunteered at our overcrowded animal shelter on the weekends. I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages and sizes, and have experience caring for dogs with injuries (e.g., broken bones) and respiratory infections commonly contracted in shelters. In terms of my profession, I am a clinical psychologist. Since moving here from Dallas I am searching for full time employment, so I currently have flexible availability to provide care to your pets as they deserve! About: I grew up with 3 dogs (2 rhodesian ridgebacks, and one mutt). When my family travels, I often house & pet sit the dog and cats. I have experience walking dogs of many sizes, and know basic commands. I am also comfortable with cats, as I grew up with them as well. I work from my home, so I have flexibility to walk around my daily meeting schedule. I truly miss having a dog of my own, but have a tricky travel schedule that does not allow it now :( I usually know my meeting schedule a few days in advance, and in general it is pretty regular. Before heading out for walks I will make sure your pet is secured properly in either harness or collar leads, if I am letting them out and playing with them in your yard, I will check all gates to make sure they are secure and will not let you pet leave my site during visits.
