About: I have a sweet beagle that was rescued 7 years ago. I am fully responsible for his care, including feeding, walking, bathing, nail trimming, etc. I always check him for ticks after visiting a park and know how to safely remove them. I enjoy going for long walks, especially in summer, so would be glad to give your dog exercise. My kids have had goats, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, and ducks, which are all fun to play with, and I would be glad to care for your less-typical pets, if needed. I have even cared for lizards and snakes. I am a teacher, so have loads of time available in the summer. During the school year, I am available most weekends and after 4 on weekdays. I always keep dogs on leash when walking them...you never know when a squirrel or other dog will come by or how they will react.

About: I live in an apartment at Kent State and am back and forth from Solon in the summer! My dog at my parents home is very reactive and we have been with many trainers to calm him down. I have much experience with dogs like him and learned from trainers. I have sat for various owners over the last few years and always enjoy keeping animals company! I am a college student! I live in a pet friendly apartment with a nice outside area. I have a very open schedule and would be open to helping anyone out at any time! I always make sure to have the pet's water and food stalked up and clean up the surrounding areas for the owner. I always make sure to leave the space looking better than when I arrived. I cannot house pets at my home due to my reactive animal but I am 100% willing to come to you!

About: I grew up with 3 dogs (2 rhodesian ridgebacks, and one mutt). When my family travels, I often house & pet sit the dog and cats. I have experience walking dogs of many sizes, and know basic commands. I am also comfortable with cats, as I grew up with them as well. I work from my home, so I have flexibility to walk around my daily meeting schedule. I truly miss having a dog of my own, but have a tricky travel schedule that does not allow it now :( I usually know my meeting schedule a few days in advance, and in general it is pretty regular. I can usually end my day by 4 pm and start earlier, around 7 am. Looking forward to working with you and your dog!

About: I’ve provided care for animals since I was a young child. Successfully completed a basic dog training course at Alaska SPCA in 2016. My skill ranges from walks to grooming, I’ve got you covered! Currently, I’m working full-time with free availability Sunday through Tuesday! I began working in animal care and animal medicine in 2003, starting at a single doctor veterinary practice and later gaining experience in shelters, training, foster care, and multi-doctor clinics with animals of all sizes. I’ve cared for animals at every life stage, from bottle fed puppies to senior pets requiring extra patience and support. I’ve had my 16 year old dachshund since she was a puppy and hand-raised her, fostered high energy shepherd/border collie and her puppies and adopted one of the puppies 6 year ago, and a few kitties, so I’m very comfortable meeting both gentle senior needs and active, exercise-focused routines. I hold a BS in Wildlife Conservation & Management and currently care for seven animals of my own, which has reinforced how important individualized, attentive care is for every pet. I would love to help meet your needs and help care for your animals of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I just recently moved to the Solon, Ohio area (willing to travel but distance does adjust price). Field work season is here, so my schedule is limited to evenings (5pm- 9pm) and weekends (excluding Sundays, for now, but if you are heading out of town for a weekend ask I may be able to fit you in). I could stop in for a quick lunch time break (outside, walk & or snack) while you are at work, or if you are traveling and need someone to check a few times a day to feed & walk while you are gone, I am here for you (not currently available for overnight stays sorry). Please let me know what your needs are, timeframes, and neighborhood & see if could be a match for you and your pets needs. I can assure you I will keep your animal safe during my visits. Before heading out for walks I will make sure your pet is secured properly in either harness or collar leads, if I am letting them out and playing with them in your yard, I will check all gates to make sure they are secure and will not let you pet leave my site during visits. I can help with reinforcement of basic commands if you are working on that. Unfortunately, I am not currently offering boarding but may do so in the future.
