When i was growing up, i found myself spending more time with my dogs than actual people. I would watch movies with them and play with them! They made me feel safe and warm! Dogs are way better than humans in my opinion! I can make conversations with them, make them feel loved, and most importantly, make sure they’re cared for! “My husband and I were traveling across country with our fur baby, Bella and he wanted to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. They do not allow dogs (unless they are service dogs) into the hall of Fame, so as a Rover sitter myself, I looked for a sitter here. I found Pam and she was great! She provided the care and attention that Bella needed. When we left the Hall of Fame to go pick Bella up, I texted Pam to let her know we were on our way. About: I've owned and loved dogs all my life. I hate to leave my dogs at a kennel and think home dog sitting is a much better option. My goal is to make sure dogs don't feel abandoned when left temporarily, but rather give them the experience of a joyful vacation with "Grandpa Ron". I've almost never found a dog who didn't like me and have never found one I didn't like. I'm a widow, retired and living alone. I have plenty of time to devote to dogs who are left in my care. About: I have a sweet beagle that was rescued 7 years ago. I am fully responsible for his care, including feeding, walking, bathing, nail trimming, etc. I always check him for ticks after visiting a park and know how to safely remove them. I enjoy going for long walks, especially in summer, so would be glad to give your dog exercise. My kids have had goats, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, and ducks, which are all fun to play with, and I would be glad to care for your less-typical pets, if needed. I have even cared for lizards and snakes. I am a teacher, so have loads of time available in the summer. During the school year, I am available most weekends and after 4 on weekdays. I always keep dogs on leash when walking them...you never know when a squirrel or other dog will come by or how they will react.
