“I can't enough good things about Matt. He's upbeat and friendly to Truman and myself. When walking, he gets updates from friends in the neighborhood and keeps me abreast. About: I'm a huge lover of dogs and cats. I have cared for dogs of every kind since I was a child, and I've grown fond of cats over the past few years so I'm more than happy to get to know their interesting quirks. Friends, family, and neighbors have counted on me to care for their pets. I provide childcare services to many families, so I am often around their pets as well. I'm super trustworthy, attentive, and intuitive with them. My family dog's name is Nelson, and he is spoiled to death. He's a Morkie Poo, getting older, and has liver issues. It has become one of my favorite hobbies of giving him everything he needs and more (supplements, frequent walks, diet changes) to improve his quality of life because I know he appreciates it! I enjoy meeting new dogs and cats, so I hope you consider me to take care of your pet :). Currently, I am working part-time so I will have lots of time to hang out with your pets! I am also available most of the time during the weekends. I prefer a time before 8pm Monday-Sunday to avoid the dark. I am very respectful of others homes and pets, and I'm always sure to leave each space as I first found it. I treat each space as I would want someone to do to mine. I'll also be happy to send photos/videos of your pet to keep you updated.

“Jane did fantastic with our 6-month old German Shepherd puppy! She was very helpful in working around our busy schedule and was very flexible on short notice. She was very friendly and respectful and I highly recommend her for dog walking/house sitting!”

About: I work at 2 different veterinary clinics as I am applying to veterinary schools currently. I also volunteer training service animals. I have had pets all my life, and enjoy spending my free time with my pets. I work at two different veterinary clinics, and have 2-3 off days a week. I have certain days where my evenings are open after work as well. I have a fenced in yard, but still enjoy taking my own dog on 2 long walks a day to make sure he has the opportunity to get moving. I do the same for the dogs that I have watched/walked for other people.

About: We have no pets for the first time in 50 years. Eager to give YOUR dogs or cats some loving while you are away from home Both of us are retired and quite flexible. Love to go for long walks (or short ones) and happy to sit reading or watching tv with a pet snuggling closeby We can't have pets where we now live, so are happy to come and stay with yours, or stop in as needed. Play in the yard, take walks, sit and cuddle...we'll do it all

About: I've cared for dogs, cats, and fish on and off for years and truly love being around animals. Whether it's playtime, walks, or just giving them company, I'm committed to making pets feel safe and happy while you're away. I treat every pet like my own—with patience and lots of love! I am currently working part-time and my schedule is relatively flexible. I am more than willing to work with any schedule to make it easy for you! In a client’s home, I follow their pet’s routine as closely as possible to keep things consistent and stress-free. I make sure they’re fed on time, have plenty of play and potty breaks, and feel safe and comfortable in their familiar space. I also keep the home tidy and provide updates so you always know how your pet is doing.

“Tamara was great with our Pup and super easy to work with! Great communication, prompt and on-time. Thank you!”

About: I’ve had both cats and dogs of all kinds in my family since I was 8, and I’ve been taking care of animals for other people since I was 12. I’m experienced with all sizes of dogs ranging from chihuahuas to mastiffs, as well as puppies and senior dogs. I’ve been relied on to walk, feed, bathe, play with and give medication to pets and have receive praise for doing so. I recently graduated from Kent State University and am currently working part-time at the Akron Zoo. As such, my schedule is pretty open and I’d love to fill some of my time with meeting and caring for new animals. I can do whatever the pup is used to in terms of potty breaks, whether that be letting them out in the yard or taking them on walks. I can kennel dogs if they are used to it, or sleep close to the dog for overnight stays if preferred.

“Marrisa is great! Very responsive and always updates with a lot of good info from the walks.”

About: I have done pet sitting and dog walking for friends for some years ago. Currently, I volunteer at the animal shelter when I can. When I’m at the shelter, I usually take a couple dogs out at a time for walks. I absolutely loved animals and enjoy spending time with them. I have experience with feeding dogs, taking them out to use the bathroom ,and making sure they get their daily walk. My flexible schedule as a tutor and substitute teacher allows me free time to do pet sitting and dog walking. I like to go for a walk and be out in nature at least a few times throughout the week and think dog walking would be a good fit for me. I would always have the pets on a leash if I take them outside unless the client’s home have a fenced area I could use. I can put the pet in a crate if the client prefers.

I also take care of my sisters cat whenever she goes out of town or is away for work. When taking care of pets for multiple days I always keep the owners updated with pictures and fun detail from the day. Entertain for a pet is essential and I always bring energy to play with them As a college student I have flexibility in being able to take care of dogs, as I will have time between classes, free time before and after classes. My classes are more typically in the morning so it leaves evenings much more available for extra care. I take care of pets with three main priorities; make sure they are walked and empty, make sure they are fed, and make sure they are entertained with some sort of play time.

“Liz Murphy is my sister. We grew up with cats but most of her adult life she has primarily had dogs although she also shared her home with cats as well. Or I should say her dogs snd cats allowed her to share “their” home. Her pets were always well cared for and well behaved. One of her dogs was a regular fixture at her bookstore and inspired the book “The Bookshop Dog” by Cynthia Rylant. I highly recommend her as a pet walker/caregiver.”

Throughout her stay, she kept us updated with photos and little notes about how everyone was doing.
