Shayna was incredible at caring for my furbaby. She went above and beyond in her care including always communicating with me through out. I think she is the best on Rover! I was nervous leaving my little one for days without me and in a strangers care, but she clearly made it easier and which gave me the confidence that my doggy would be well cared for! Boy was I right! I will book her again as my Yorkie seemed to love her lots. If you ask me she needs to open her own doggy daycare business!!!! Thank you again Shayna!!! My little one came back so happy and full of joy after being with you!!!

When I saw the pictures of Susan and Kenny surrounded by all the fur babies, I knew they were special. Talking to them, meeting them, and having them sit with Peanut and CoCo proved they are. Think "Dog-Whispers." CoCo, my 10-month-old CavaPoo, is very much the Covid-puppy. She is still getting socialized with two and four-legged friends. After a bit of separation anxiety, she made new friends and had a great time from all accounts. I was very concerned about Peanut, my 12-year-old Chihuahua. She is very anxious around other dogs. She pretends to be fierce but is actually afraid after a bad encounter with another dog years ago. Susan and I spoke by phone before confirming their stay, and she eased any fear I had about leaving Peanut. Her knowledge and overall puppy wisdom were settling to my spirit. Susan and Kenny took excellent care of my two pups. They knew what each of them needed. They provided updates and pictures. I saw a picture with Peanut lying near another puppy, who was not CoCo, which spoke volumes. Susan provided me with helpful care information about my older pup when I picked up my girls. I can't recommend Susan and Kenny enough...only if they become too popular, they may not have room for future visits from Peanut and CoCo.

Kim is so wonderful! My dog is young and gets food aggressive with other animals, but she handled it great and was very accommodating to her needs. Her two dogs are so sweet and her home is a great environment for my dog. My dog seemed very comfortable and loved. I received plenty of pictures (which I adore). I would highly recommend Kim to care for your pup!

We’re really happy with Debra and how she handled everything for our dog while we were out of town. We arranged for a meetup before the stay to ensure this would be a good match. When I dropped off our dog there was an introduction to the other pets in her home so our pup could get acclimated. While we were away we received daily updates with photos and it looked like our pup was having a great time. Thanks for taking good care and we look forward to scheduling with you again!

Isabel has been awesome with our Buddy. We have used her always and have been very happy with her. She truly is an animal lover and will make your furry family member feel right at home. My dog is an older big dog and she always takes extra special care of his needs. Isabel sends pictures and updates through the entire stay. We will continue to use her as long as she will have us!

Alayna and Adam deserve a 10 star review. They met the needs of our dogs, they followed instructions provided, kept the dogs engaged and stimulated. Dogs were perfect little angels and never showed distress as they were made to feel at home during their stay. Great communcation via messages, videos and pictures. They shared any concerns they observed during the stay and checked in to make sure it was normal behavior and one of our dogs health was okay. They were amazing and accomodating. Their house is clean!! I can't say enough things about them! Will definitely book them again!

Lorie took great care of our senior dog who has lots of medical needs. She is warm and compassionate and clearly loves all of the doggies as her own. She sent us regular updates and pictures while we were away. We felt like our dog was in better care with Lorie than when we have boarded him at the vet - and he was definitely more comfortable with a home environment. Thank you, Lorie!

It was clear from the updates and photos that she adjusted to Wendy’s home the perfect balance of active play time and snuggles. Wendy was very quick and clear in her communications. I’d recommend Wendy’s oasis to any pet parent! :)

About: I have always had pets of all kinds growing up along with much love for all wildlife. Currently I have 4 cats, 2 dogs, 3 fish and many snails, and a lot of plants! My dog growing up became diabetic (also blind) and I provided him supportive care for the remaining 5 years he had (including special meals and insulin shots)! I have rescued several cats and found loving homes after getting them medical care (I always keep in touch). One of my cats was a bottle baby after finding her on the side of the road at only 3 weeks old, she is now almost 2. I also provided supportive care for my two eldest cats (11years) after their major surgeries (perineal urethrostomy and gallbladder removal). I am also in the process of obtaining my wildlife rehabilitation permit for I always seem to be brought animals to care for and I would like to do more for them than just transporting to a rehabilitator! I have a lot of room at my house which includes the finished basement area with separate rooms, a mudroom, a large fenced in backyard, and kennels if needed. I'm willing to travel to you, or care for your animals here! All my animals are friendly (successfully introduced and integrated) but if yours needs some privacy I can absolutely provide it. I'm here to help, I hope it's clear how important your fur babies would be to me! I would love to make whatever it is you need happen. I am currently a stay at home mom with my own fur babies. My day starts at 6AM when I wake up to feed and walk the dogs and check to see if the cats need anything. I would be more than happy to care for your animal(s) here or get out of the house and care for them in their home! I have a large fenced in yard, a finished basement with separate rooms, a separate mudroom, and kennels if needed! My 4 cats and 2 dogs roam the house and would love to make new friends, but if your animals are shy, we have plenty of space to accommodate. All I ask is for a clear set of instructions if caring for your pet in your home and you can expect those instructions to be carried out with love and respect for your animal(s) and property. I am also insured for pet care/housesitting through PCI.

About: Hi, I’m Nicole — a lifelong animal lover and self‑proclaimed helicopter dog parent. Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do — it’s who I am. My babies are in heaven now so I’ve joined rover as a pet sitter. I’ve spent the last decade-plus loving and supporting two very different pups with very different needs. My 16‑year‑old baby boy chihuahua Harley taught me everything about caring for a truly high‑maintenance senior dog. From medications and special feeding routines to extra snuggles, slow walks, and those middle‑of‑the‑night “I need you now” moments — I’ve handled it all with patience, gentleness, and love. I also shared my life with my 11 year old Labrador-baby girl Lexi- who recently passed away from cancer on 5/19. Navigating that journey with her taught me deep compassion, vigilance, and emotional care. I became an expert in monitoring comfort levels, adjusting daily routines, and making every moment count. These experiences shaped the way I care for every dog who comes into my home: with attentiveness, understanding, and the same level of devotion I have given my own. • I treat your dog the way I treat mine — like family. • I am extremely attentive and present. If your pup needs something, I’m there. • Senior dogs and high‑maintenance fur babies are welcome. I get them. • Dogs are absolutely allowed on furniture — cuddles are encouraged here. • We don’t have a fence, but I’m a safety‑first sitter. I leash dogs for every potty break and stay right with them. • Because I work from home, your dog will rarely be left alone. • My home is calm, cozy, and dog friendly. Why I Do This I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone. They’re your heart. Your family. Your little shadow. I’ve been in your shoes many times, I’ve used Rover in the past and my goal is to give you that same peace of mind I always looked for — knowing your pup is safe, loved, and truly understood. On weekdays I go to the gym early in the morning and telework daily in my private office with a comfy dog friendly couch. Sometimes I am home on the weekends and sometimes not so it depends on when you need care. If you’re unsure just message me and I can see if I am free. :) Our non-smoking home is pet friendly and I have a 12 year old daughter who loves animals. I do not have any animals in my home. For potty breaks your pet would be leashed.

Super nice/living family. After initially meeting them, I was very comfortable leaving my Murphy with them. They have two lovely Beagles and children who obviously love the dogs as well & a perfect indoor & outdoor setting for playing and roaming. They sent me photos and a video which made my day. Nathan even slept downstairs on the couch when my pup seemed worried without having anyone around as it was his first night away from home in several months since a horrific extended stay experience with a facility. I will definitely use them again whenever I need to be away from home!

I think Kanga really enjoyed his time with Veronica and her family at “doggy camp”! This was the first time he stayed overnights with anyone but family. From our first meeting, I was confident in the love and care that would be given to Kanga. Veronica has the perfect setting for critter care: big fenced yard, dedicated space in her home for dogs to roam freely, close parks for walks. I was much more concerned that Kanga would be a good house guest than any anxiety over how he would be treated ! Excellent sitter👍

Kimberly was so excellent with Ellie. Ellie is a rescue and we weren't sure how she would respond. Kimberly was so loving to her and she was so reassuring to us. I couldn't have asked for a better sitter than Veronica. She took Frankie into her home on short notice, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was very communicative, sending me updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind. Frankie was clearly comfortable and happy during his stay with Veronica. Veronica is reliable, responsible, and a true dog lover. I will definitely be reaching out to her the next time I need someone to watch Frankie for me. Thanks again Veronica!!!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
