I think Kanga really enjoyed his time with Veronica and her family at “doggy camp”! This was the first time he stayed overnights with anyone but family. From our first meeting, I was confident in the love and care that would be given to Kanga. Veronica has the perfect setting for critter care: big fenced yard, dedicated space in her home for dogs to roam freely, close parks for walks. I was much more concerned that Kanga would be a good house guest than any anxiety over how he would be treated ! Excellent sitter👍
I couldn't have asked for a better sitter than Veronica. She took Frankie into her home on short notice, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was very communicative, sending me updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind. Frankie was clearly comfortable and happy during his stay with Veronica. We can't say enough wonderful things about Veronica! We have a partially paralyzed dog who needs extra care, including being carried, and she handled everything with so much compassion, patience, and skill. She came multiple times and was incredibly reliable, attentive, and loving. Our dog absolutely adores her and so do we! Knowing our pup was in such capable and kind hands gave us total peace of mind. We feel so lucky to have found her!

My home is a pet-loving household with an extra set of hands when needed. My husband and my daughter (18) also love animals, so there is usually someone nearby to offer a watchful eye, help with playtime, or give your pet a little extra attention. While I take full responsibility for every pet in my care, it’s reassuring to know they are never without companionship. Reliability is something I take pride in, including during holidays. My days naturally revolve around the pets in my care, with time set aside for walks, backyard play, rest, and one-on-one attention. I focus on creating a calm, consistent routine so each pet feels comfortable, safe, and at home.

How I Care for Pets in My Home: I have a secure, fenced-in backyard where dogs can safely run, play, and explore. I’m also within walking distance of a large park, the towpath, and several beautiful hiking areas—great for dogs who enjoy fresh air and a change of scenery. There are three cats in my home. Two are very shy and tend to keep to themselves, while the third is younger, playful, and friendly with both people and other animals. They are well-socialized, gentle, and typically coexist peacefully, offering quiet companionship without being intrusive. How I Care for Pets in a Client’s Home: When caring for pets in your home, I’m always respectful of your space. I keep things clean and tidy, follow all routines closely, and ensure your home remains secure at all times. My focus is on providing attentive care, reassurance, and consistency so your pet feels comfortable while you’re away. A Little Extra I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, whether we’re walking, playing, or simply relaxing together. I also love capturing small, meaningful moments during visits. For many clients, I’ll share a few photos or a short video. It’s a simple way to bring peace of mind and let you see how happy and comfortable your pet is while you’re away.

Each day is tailored to the individual pet. For more active dogs, that might include walks, backyard play, or time exploring nearby trails. On warmer days, we may play outside or enjoy water activities like sprinklers. Just as important are the quieter moments; rest time, cuddles, and calm companionship. I always aim to create a balanced day that keeps pets engaged, comfortable, and relaxed.
