“So glad I came across Lindsay, I had to head out of town last minute and she came in clutch. We weren’t able to do a meet and greet beforehand but we were able to figure something out and everything turned out fine. Will definitely keep her mind for the future!”

About: I have always had dogs in my life and understand the importance of companionship, exercise and interaction in their lives. I have cared for all ages of dogs in my life and will accommodate accordingly whether it is an exploration sniff walk or intense walk around the neighborhood! I currently work part-time, so can usually fit in a few walks or visits throughout the rest of my day or on days off. I treat a client’s home and personal space as I would want my own home respected while doing my best to follow instructions and wishes.
About: I am a caring and dependable dog walker with a genuine love and respect for animals. I currently walk two dogs Tuesday through Friday and have built a strong bond with them. One was shy and barked at me at first, but now happily runs up to greet me—an experience I truly value. I also volunteer at the Humane Society animal shelter, where I help feed cats, clean their cages, and walk dogs. At times, my responsible and gentle 14-year-old son assists me on walks, offering extra attention and care to the dogs. As a tutor and substitute teacher with a flexible schedule and summers off, I’m able to provide consistent, reliable care. My priority is making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. My flexible schedule as a tutor and substitute teacher allows me free time to do pet sitting and dog walking. I tend to walk dogs between 8am to 11am and then do my substitute teaching job between 11:45 to 3:15pm and after that will walk a dog as needed. During the summer time Im free all day for walks and for house sitting. I will make sure to follow any instructions or recommendations from the client concerning the well being of their pet. I typically give the dog daily exercise 4 to 7 times per day. With the owner permission I will take dog to the dog park and keep a watchful eye on the dog at all times there. If I feel another dog is getting aggressive I will immediately remove the dog so nothing escalates.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs, cats and rabbits my whole life. I’ve always had them and have even done 4-H with my dog and rabbits and was an advisor when I got older. 4-H taught me all about pet care and dog training and obedience. I’ve recently changed jobs so I can be home nights, weekends and holidays! This will allow me more time for watching your fur babies. I enjoy spending my free time on walks and being outside. Since I do work during the week, they will be home during the day and unable to go out. But once I am home, and on weekends, they can go out as often as they would like. I don’t have any pets at this time so your fur baby will be the only one in the home. I keep things picked up and out of reach for safety. I believe in harnessing and leashing before going outside and making sure they are secured properly. I also will not feed your pet any human food or anything not approved by you.
“Keerie is so wonderful! She took such fabulous care of my two kitties while I was on vacation. She provided amazing care to my two cats who need meds every day and even opened and closed the windows in the house for them while I was gone. she always made sure they had plenty of food of water and kept the house and litters in spotless condition. Keerie went above and beyond and sent the perfect amount of updates, posts, and pictures and I will certainly be rebooking with her for future trips or when I leave again! Keerie is so kind and loving and treats your fur babies like her own. She is thee best. I was so thrilled to have found her. Thank you Keerie!! - Ashley, Ellie Jo, & Harlow Gray 🥰😻😻”

“We had the best experience with Maria! She watched our cat for us for 1 week while we were out of town & it could not have gone any better. She dropped by twice a day, gave our cat plenty of love & affection, & sent us lots of pics & updates while we were away which we appreciated so much. Our cat can be very shy but she warmed up to Maria almost instantly & we knew she was in the best care while we were away. We will definitely be booking with Maria again & would recommend her to anyone needing a sitter for their furry friend :)”

“We are beyond happy that we had Emily to care for our 3 dogs while we were out of town! She went above and beyond to care for them and to communicate so that we knew they were in good hands! We highly recommend her!!”

“Denise was a great help for some last minute drop in visits so I could attend a funeral. Received lots of pics and texts. Felt completely comfortable with her taking care of my little guy.”

“Lisa did a great job on her first couple of drop ins for my dog. She was very flexible and accommodating, even when I had to change some visit times on her last minute. It’s clear she cares about animals and was very communicative during drop ins, which I really appreciate. I would definitely recommend Lisa and will be using her again.”

This will be more a reward for me than a job ❤️ Weekdays after 3 I’m typically always available. Other times throughout the day and weekends will vary, so please just ask! I will do what I can :) I can work with you and your pets needs. Whether they use an automatic feeder or need manually fed, I can provide what is needed.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Hudson
Preston was an outstanding dog sitter over the Fourth of July holiday! From the very beginning, he went above and beyond by taking the time to meet our dogs beforehand, which made us feel completely at ease. Throughout our time away, he was incredibly caring, attentive, and communicative. When a storm blew through and knocked over our patio umbrella, breaking the glass table, Preston let us know right away and kept us updated on everything. We really appreciated his honesty and prompt communication during an unexpected situation. It’s clear that Preston genuinely cares about the pets he looks after. We came home to happy, well-cared-for dogs and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy, responsible, and compassionate dog sitter!

Bella loved her. She is so sweet & very professional. We felt really relaxed on vacation, having her check on our senior dog. Sent alot of photos. Also, fed & gave her medications. We are very blessed to find her . We will have her come to our home again!

Christine was amazing with my dog who has some special needs right now she made us feel so comfortable leaving him and I know he felt comfortable with her as well that made our time away so much better to be able to not worry. The updates she gave us were very detailed and helpful. I could not recommend Christine enough. She is absolutely amazing with our dog.

We can't say enough wonderful things about Veronica! We have a partially paralyzed dog who needs extra care, including being carried, and she handled everything with so much compassion, patience, and skill. She came multiple times and was incredibly reliable, attentive, and loving. Our dog absolutely adores her and so do we! Knowing our pup was in such capable and kind hands gave us total peace of mind. We feel so lucky to have found her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
