About: I can sit and board during any holiday! I am new to the site, so that is why I do not have any reviews. I try to respond in less than thirty minutes. In the evening, I usually respond within a few minutes. I walk on a daily basis personally and am used to taking dogs on walks at least a few times a day. I have worked with all different breeds and do my research on breed specifications before taking care of any animal. I have helped taken care of animals that have to receive oral and injections daily. I have taken care of all ages of animals from babies to seniors. I have owned dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, and rabbits. I currently do not own any animals, so that I can focus on your pets. I do usually send updates/pictures during the time your pet is with me, so that you know how they are doing I work as a nurse full time Monday through Friday. I started work usually no earlier than 745 am and am done no later than 5 pm. I have an hour long lunch break. I board on weekends so that I can be with your animal 24/7. I can dog sit throughout the week and dogs will receive a morning and evening walk as well as a lot of love and affection. I can do dog walking in the evening and if you live in the Fairlawn/Montrose area, I can do drop in visits between 12 pm-1 pm. I keep my availability up to date on this calendar as well. I live in a two bedroom apartment, but I live near a dog park I can take them to and can take them out every hour or two during the weekend if the board with me. I would take them on at least one walk minimum whether staying at my apartment or taking care of them at yours. The walks can vary from an half an hour to an hour or more depending on the dog and how your dog is feeling. I always ask their feeding schedule and an dietary restrictions. At my home, I have intellectual toys as well as just typical toys. If allowed, dogs and cats are more than welcome to sleep in bed with me. I allow animals on my furniture and have locks on cabinets to ensure they cannot get anything to harm them. I keep treats and food at my apartment. For walks, I have a hands free leash that goes around waist, so that way there is not a chance that the leash slips out of my hands.

Our younger pup can be a bit shy and standoffish with new people, but he felt comfortable with her from the start. You can tell she is great with dogs and dogs love her! Regina is very responsive and provides great communication when she watches our dogs. You can tell that she is not only a great dog sitter, but a good person as well!”

About: I've grown up with animals my whole life, always having a cat and/or dog around! I love my family pets dearly, and since I live far away from them now, I am missing the connection with a furry friend. I have lived with and helped raise my current dog and cat since they were babies all the way to their current old ages. I used to check on my neighbors pets, they had 4 in total--two dogs (one senior), two cats. I would take the dogs outside for bathroom and run around time, as well as feed them lunch. Cats are elusive, so I just made sure they had food and fresh water available. I'd also stay extra time to dole out all the affection the animals needed before mom and dad got home. Currently I care for 8 fish in my 20 gallon fish tank! I'm in college at the moment but my schedule is open in the afternoons/evenings. Monday I have classes at 11 am so I can do a morning check. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday I spend the morning student teaching so I am available after 1-1:30 pm for checks, Tuesday and Thursday I have a class from 6-7 pm. Friday I have only one commitment from 3-5 pm so I can do morning checks and afternoon/evening checks. Weekends are mostly open, occasionally I have events. I cannot care for your pet in my own home, but I am more than willing to care for your pet in your home. Pets are usually more comfortable with a new person when they are in their own territory. As long as I know the rules for taking care of your pet, I will be able to give you and your pet a positive care experience.

About: Hi I’m Sofia, I’ve grown up being the main caretaker of 3 dogs, I have volunteered at dog shelters and I love dogs from all sizes and personalities! For my scheduling, I am a student so my time can be made flexible making my availability pretty open. I am always free on the weekends. I am in a student in a dorm therefore I can board small dogs if needed, I don’t have a roommate that can intervene with the dog(s).

About: I have been taking care of dogs most of my life. I am 57. I have done dog training and agility with 2 of our dogs. I have had a puppy and dealt with Senior dogs too. I love to give our dog lots of attention with play time, walking and outdoor activities. I love to take walks and go to other parks too. With the owner's permission, I love to go to the dog park-Bow Wow dog park and the Akron Dog Park. I give your furry one lots of attention with play time-throwing toys-playing fetch with a ball or toy. Letting them have backyard time. We have a fenced in back yard for the dogs to be free. I also will brush your dog and pet them and give them attention, while you are away. I will treat your dog like he/she is my own dog. Another place I will take dogs is Petsmart or Pet Supplies Plus for social interaction and exercise. I am at home and available most days. We have a 20 year-old Son, who also loves dogs! My Husband helps out too, with walks and letting the dogs out in our backyard and is a dog person. Currently, I am not working. I have a knee problem and some medical issues that prevent me from working full time. I have plenty of time to take care of your dog. We love to take walks and go to the dog parks. However, if you prefer your dog not to go to the dog park, that is fine. We could go on walks and let your dog go outside in our backyard. We have lots of dog toys, bones, balls, etc... I do have a walk thru pet gate that I set up to block off the kitchen and dining room area. We will feed our dog and your dog separately in separate rooms. I love to brush and pet dogs. If needed, we could bath your dog too. We are a "dog" type family, that is our preference. We have had fish, hamsters and also a guinea pig in the past. I grew up with a cat in our home, as a child. We will throw ball and toys for the dogs and play with your dog. We have a small crate that is in our garage, however we don't usually use the crate. If we leave the home, depending on the situation, if your dog is destructive or chewing on furniture or other items, then we will crate your dog when we leave for church or a short errand. If you have a calm dog and the dog is not destructive and well mannered, then your dog could stay in the family room area, unless you prefer that your dog is in his crate. We will use 2 dog gates near our steps to go upstairs. We prefer that our dog and other dogs do not go upstairs. As a House Sitter, I would do any needed cleaning up of any messes I make. I would be bringing my own food, as I am gluten free and dairy free. The only thing I would need is some freezer and frigerated space for my food. I would follow your normal routine for your dog or dogs. I do have occasional Dr and therapy appointments, fyi. We have a home in Akron, with a fence in our backyard. We live near a forest, it is a quiet area. We have a small neighborhood, where the street dead ends to a forest. We don't get drive thru traffic, that use our area as a "short cut".

About: Growing up with dogs as a part of the family I have taken care of them my whole life. When I was 15 my family brought home a new puppy and I didn’t have a summer job, so she was my responsibility. Over the years I have taken care of dogs of all ages from energetic puppies to senior pups that need a little more love and understanding. I have administered medications and eye drops with ease and few trick up my sleeves. I enjoy having training sessions with the dogs and even teaching them a new trick while their family is away. This helps give them something to focus on and encourages bonding between us. I would be honored to take care of your furry family member while you’re away. I'm currently have a hybrid work schedule and would love to help out your family while I have the time. While in my current status I can do more walks, potty breaks as needed. Potty break is the first and foremost needed when I arrive at a client's home. Then a walk, a little time for some training and a little bit of play as well. It's just as important they have some mental stimulation.

About: I have worked with dogs specifically for about 3 years and some months. I’ve done Boarding/Daycare as well as Bathing. (this is where most of my experience comes from) I’ve bathed, brushed, and even trimmed nails of dogs of all kinds and ages for 2-3 years. Even though my boarding and daycare experience is new, I did enjoy it very much and I follow instruction well as long as they are direct and clear. I have extreme patience when it comes to learning the behaviors of our pets, I know not all dogs or cats are the same and they all have their boundaries and different personalities that make them special to us and I respect that. I love cats of all breeds as well. Believe it or not as much as I have dealt with all breeds I personally LOVE the big breeds, I do not mind hair or drool! (of both cats and dogs) I also have 3 cats and a Husky who is soon to turn 4! I will admit I do not know everything again every animal is different but I am willing to learn and adapt to what you and your pets need or want. Anything to make them happy and comfortable will always be my main goal. If you have any questions or concerns plz do not hesitate to reach out!! All of my animals have a routine in my home. My Husky will get water before his food (he won’t even touch his food before we go outside lol) after I take him out to our lil dog park (at my apt) I then give him his food , After that I go and give my cats their water and food and clean their litter boxes (and their room) Then after my husky finishes his food for exercise we go on an hour or so walk (if you have a husky you understand lol) I am very clean dependent , I do not like a messy environment I am constantly sweeping and cleaning my apt to try and keep it as clean as possible with four pets. I do crate my husky whenever I leave , we’ve been doing as such since he was a pup!
