About: I’ve had numerous gigs babysitting neighbors pets over the years; from dogs and cats to turtles and fish. I love spending time with all animals and I’m always looking out for the happiness and safety of your animals no matter the size :) Currently I’m a student at The University of Akron which gives me spare time in between classes. I’m usually free during the week and have no problem taking a break in my day to go check on your pets! Growing up with several dogs over the years, I’m very familiar with showing affection and maintaining the needs of pets. We routinely walk our dogs twice a day and make sure to feed morning and night. I love spending time outside with my dogs and getting all their energy out before bedtime.
“Jennifer is the “Best”! She watched our senior cat Spot for almost 3 weeks and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Her communication and passion for caring for Spot is unmatched. We will definitely use her again.”

About: I have always had pets of all kinds growing up along with much love for all wildlife. Currently I have 4 cats, 2 dogs, 3 fish and many snails, and a lot of plants! My dog growing up became diabetic (also blind) and I provided him supportive care for the remaining 5 years he had (including special meals and insulin shots)! I have rescued several cats and found loving homes after getting them medical care (I always keep in touch). One of my cats was a bottle baby after finding her on the side of the road at only 3 weeks old, she is now almost 2. I also provided supportive care for my two eldest cats (11years) after their major surgeries (perineal urethrostomy and gallbladder removal). I am also in the process of obtaining my wildlife rehabilitation permit for I always seem to be brought animals to care for and I would like to do more for them than just transporting to a rehabilitator! I have a lot of room at my house which includes the finished basement area with separate rooms, a mudroom, a large fenced in backyard, and kennels if needed. I'm willing to travel to you, or care for your animals here! All my animals are friendly (successfully introduced and integrated) but if yours needs some privacy I can absolutely provide it. I'm here to help, I hope it's clear how important your fur babies would be to me! I would love to make whatever it is you need happen. I am currently a stay at home mom with my own fur babies. My day starts at 6AM when I wake up to feed and walk the dogs and check to see if the cats need anything. I would be more than happy to care for your animal(s) here or get out of the house and care for them in their home! I have a large fenced in yard, a finished basement with separate rooms, a separate mudroom, and kennels if needed! My 4 cats and 2 dogs roam the house and would love to make new friends, but if your animals are shy, we have plenty of space to accommodate. All I ask is for a clear set of instructions if caring for your pet in your home and you can expect those instructions to be carried out with love and respect for your animal(s) and property. I am also insured for pet care/housesitting through PCI.
“We cannot thank Gabrielle enough for the incredible care she provided for our senior dog, Rocco. Taking care of a dog with mobility issues and a wheelchair is no small task, but Gabrielle handled it with such grace and compassion. From the moment she met him, her positive attitude, warm demeanor, and generosity were on full display. She was remarkably flexible with our schedule and treated Rocco as if he were her own. It gave us such peace of mind knowing he was with someone so patient and kind. We thank her from the bottom of our hearts for her exceptional care and would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who truly cares about animals.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs, cats and rabbits my whole life. I’ve always had them and have even done 4-H with my dog and rabbits and was an advisor when I got older. 4-H taught me all about pet care and dog training and obedience. I’ve recently changed jobs so I can be home nights, weekends and holidays! This will allow me more time for watching your fur babies. I enjoy spending my free time on walks and being outside. Since I do work during the week, they will be home during the day and unable to go out. But once I am home, and on weekends, they can go out as often as they would like. I don’t have any pets at this time so your fur baby will be the only one in the home. I keep things picked up and out of reach for safety. I believe in harnessing and leashing before going outside and making sure they are secured properly. I also will not feed your pet any human food or anything not approved by you.
“Rebekah was very attentive to our fur-babies’ every need! Very caring, with lots of loving up! Along with Daily reports & pictures being sent to us! Totally put my mind at ease, knowing they were in Excellent hands, in our absence! We Highly Recommend Rebekah as your drop-in Pet/Home Caregiver ?”

“Lindsay was great! My cat was well taken care of. I appreciated her photos and updates. She was also very timely and perfectly handled my probably somewhat vague instruction as a first time Rover user.”

“Julie was great! She was very patient and caring with my very shy and nervous cat. She took extra care to make sure he was as comfortable as he could be in order to receive medication he needs. She was also very communicative, meet with me multiple times to ensure I felt comfortable. Highly recommend and plan on using in the future!!”

“Dailie was great! She was able to help us out on short notice for a couple of drop ins and we were very pleased with her services. Punctual, courteous, and caring of our dog. Would hire again!”

I’m comfortable caring for senior pets and those with special needs, including dogs with back leg paralysis, and I always prioritize following owner instructions while paying close attention to each pet’s comfort cues. I treat every pet as if they were my own—with patience, respect, and plenty of love. I began pet sitting in college as a side gig and quickly discovered how much I loved it. Let me know how I can help—I can’t wait to meet your furbaby! Katelynn is super nice! She was great with Bella, and Bella loves her too. You can tell she really loves pets. She’s super organized and prompt and knows this application well because she was able to help me reschedule a couple of times. I will definitely be using Katelynn in the future!

So glad I came across Lindsay, I had to head out of town last minute and she came in clutch. We weren’t able to do a meet and greet beforehand but we were able to figure something out and everything turned out fine. Will definitely keep her mind for the future!
Isabella is the absolute best with our two dachshunds. She always writes incredible summaries after each visit. I trust her more than my extended family with our dogs. She is so caring and thorough. I always book her when we go away and recommend to anyone else. You can't find better!

We cannot thank Gabrielle enough for the incredible care she provided for our senior dog, Rocco. We thank her from the bottom of our hearts for her exceptional care and would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who truly cares about animals.

Riley is such a big help to me. I had never used this App before and was a bit nervous. She made it easy and accommodated a meet and greet. Riley has been up for every challenge. As one of my dogs was recovering from surgery and the other is a very energetic German shepherd puppy. She is always willing to help in anyway that she can with both of their needs. I am so happy to have found this App and Riley. I would and do definitely recommend her.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
