About: I have been a lover of animals for as long as I can remember. From horses, to kitties, to dogs and rabbits, I’ve watched and cared for them all. I love meeting new critters! I have a very flexible schedule working retail and picking up substitute teaching so I can work with you to make sure your pets get the car they need when they need it! I have a sweet baby boy cat who has not had problems with other animals, but can play or leave alone if needed. We have a large house with plenty of room. A nice backyard as well to run and play! If I am at your home, I will follow any directions you have to make sure that your pets get the same care that you would give them!
“This was our first time using Rover. We are so pleased with our experience with Zoey! She was very communicative, trustworthy and kind to our kitties. She sent photos everyday, even of our super scaredy cat who hid in tight spots during visits. She made sure everyone was doing well and gave pets to the ones who came out of hiding for attention. Zoey is our first pick for our next pet sitting service need!”

“We had the best experience with Maria! She watched our cat for us for 1 week while we were out of town & it could not have gone any better. She dropped by twice a day, gave our cat plenty of love & affection, & sent us lots of pics & updates while we were away which we appreciated so much. Our cat can be very shy but she warmed up to Maria almost instantly & we knew she was in the best care while we were away. We will definitely be booking with Maria again & would recommend her to anyone needing a sitter for their furry friend :)”

About: Growing up with dogs as a part of the family I have taken care of them my whole life. When I was 15 my family brought home a new puppy and I didn’t have a summer job, so she was my responsibility. Over the years I have taken care of dogs of all ages from energetic puppies to senior pups that need a little more love and understanding. I have administered medications and eye drops with ease and few trick up my sleeves. I enjoy having training sessions with the dogs and even teaching them a new trick while their family is away. This helps give them something to focus on and encourages bonding between us. I would be honored to take care of your furry family member while you’re away. I'm currently have a hybrid work schedule and would love to help out your family while I have the time. While in my current status I can do more walks, potty breaks as needed. Potty break is the first and foremost needed when I arrive at a client's home. Then a walk, a little time for some training and a little bit of play as well. It's just as important they have some mental stimulation.
“Rebekah was very attentive to our fur-babies’ every need! Very caring, with lots of loving up! Along with Daily reports & pictures being sent to us! Totally put my mind at ease, knowing they were in Excellent hands, in our absence! We Highly Recommend Rebekah as your drop-in Pet/Home Caregiver ?”

I provide regular feeding, exercise, and interactive play sessions to keep them engaged and happy. I maintain a clean and pet-friendly home, and I am always attentive to their needs and behavior. In my friends and families homes, I follow their specific instructions and routines to ensure consistency and comfort for the pets. I respect the client's home, ensuring it remains clean and secure, and I communicate regularly with updates and photos to keep them informed and reassured.

I do everything from the basic drop-ins to staying in house with them for extended amounts of time. I clean up after everything and make sure to leave a place better than I found it when you arrive back home. I work 4 days a week in 7(ish) hour shifts, usually 3-10pm. I am up most mornings by 9 and do my best to keep up with the normal routines of the pets I watch. I want to give your pets all the love and company they are used to while you're away. About: I have loved animals all my life and have been asked to watch family and friends pets on countless occasions. I believe in the importance of enrichment activities as well as the good ole belly rubs. Whatever the pet is in need of I am happy to help make their day brighter. I can’t wait to spread the love to more fur babies! I’m currently working full time but always have time for walks and playdates with your pets! Weekdays after 6:30 and weekends work the best but I am flexible! I have a2 year old Beagle Boston terrier who gets a few hours of physical activity and mental enrichment a day before winding down for snuggles and love. We spend time on training and puzzles as well as engaging walks.
“Tasha did check ins with my cat while I was on vacation. She gave him lots of love, freshened up his food and water, and sent me updates at each check in. She was a great help!”

“Dailie was great! She was able to help us out on short notice for a couple of drop ins and we were very pleased with her services. Punctual, courteous, and caring of our dog. Would hire again!”

About: I am and have been vegan since I was a child. I’ve always had a deep love for and towards animals ever since I can remember. I like to be in animals energy and presence. Even when giving “care” it’s enjoyable and pleasing for me to offer that for your pets. I bring a calm and peaceful vibe to any situation. I want to be a safe and comfortable space for your animals. ~ If you book the house sitting option, I am only available to sit throughout the day. No sleepovers. I currently am a part time student studying vet tech with a fine arts minor! I have a great amount of free time and flexible schedule to accommodate “different” jobs and care. I live in an apartment with 3 cats. I don’t have any closed off areas at the moment and my cats free roam around the house.

“Chris was awesome with both my pets! She dog sat my English Bulldog Tyson and did housing check-ins with my cat Sal and treated them both as if they were her own pets. I got lots of updates and pictures and she even bought my dog a Christmas sweater. I came home to very happy pets every time and will use her again in the future!”

“Really appreciate Pat helping us on short notice! She was fantastic with our rather timid and shy cat. Pat allowed our Bella to set the pace for interaction. Very attentive and took such good care with her. She even brought in an unexpected package. Very warm and caring lady. Will definitely use her services again.”

About: Since I was young, I’ve always had a pet. After college I finally got a pet of my own and they’ve just multiplied over the years! Dogs are my specialty - I’ve taken care of dogs belonging to friends and family & I’ve trained both of my dogs since they were puppies. I’d say what sets me apart from others is that I have plenty of time in the afternoons (and any time during the weekend) to take care of your pup because my job ends early in the day unlike a 9-5 job. I have years of experience under my belt and I just really love animals. Always have and always will! As a teacher, I am always home early on the weekdays so I’ll have plenty of time every afternoon to play with & walk your dog! I am available any time on the weekends and I can board Fri-Sun. My husband and I have a big fenced in yard and 2 friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company! We are firm believers in lots of walks, lots of playtime, and positive reinforcement. If needed, we can provide a crate as a safe space for your dog to lounge in. Our dogs are our children and we will treat your dog with the same love as we treat our own :)

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Fairlawn
Monica was great for our short day‑break visit. She came by for about 30 minutes, let Allie out, and sent us a picture that made our day. It was exactly what we needed — quick, easy, and reassuring. Allie looked happy, and we felt totally comfortable with Monica taking care of her.

Our Shiba Inu is a classic Shiba so we were a little worried about him cooperating with Amber. She has the magic touch and he went for walks with her and went out for potty breaks and took his medicine! We're so grateful for her! She gave us peace of mind while we were away.

I was never able to meet Taylor in person. I believe it's best to meet someone coming to your private home and explain your pets needs, but I did book her last minute. In the past, I have always met my Rover sitter in person. Not sure if I would book her in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
