About: I have experience caring for pets, including training puppies and giving extra gentle care to senior pets. What makes me stand out is how much I truly care about each animal’s unique needs and making sure they feel safe and loved while their owners are away. I am constantly around animals and having to commit myself to taking care of them. I am comfortable around all dogs and am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animal. When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your dogs I will dedicate my time to loving them. I would love to be able to take them to the dog park where they can also interact with other animals while you're away! Pet care fits smoothly into my daily and weekly routine because I prioritize consistent time for feeding, exercise, play, and rest. I make sure to set aside dedicated moments each day to attend to pets’ needs, whether it’s morning walks, midday playtime, or evening cuddles, so they always feel cared for and comfortable. I can do drop in visits and dog walking any time tuesday-thursday. friday thru monday i can do 6-8:30am and 9-10pm. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I prioritize creating a safe and calm environment. I make sure all areas are pet-proofed to prevent accidents, keep their food and water fresh, and maintain a clean space. I also follow any specific instructions from the owner closely, whether it’s about feeding, medication, or exercise, to build trust and ensure pets feel secure and comfortable.

About: i have taken care of animals since i was 10. i have always had an animal in my home and have helped tremendously take care of them! I have helped out family, friends and neighbors with their animals and looked over them while there not home!! i currently work part time, but will have so much time for your pets and will get off work if needed! I am available all weekends and most weekdays, depending on weeks. i have a cat and 4 dogs who are trained on leashes and a yard for them to play in. they love other dogs and would love another friend!

About: I have been a dog sitter for my friends and family for years as well as having my own. Anyone who knows me knows that I love animals and dogs more than anything. I am currently a college student home for the summer so as long as I am not at my part time job I am available any weekends or weekdays to spend time with your pup! I live in a rural neighborhood and have a very friendly lab to keep your pup company! I am able to accommodate any requests for your home or dog as well.

About: Hi! I’m Mazi. After working in dog boarding facilities, I realized that while the dogs were well cared for, many of them were missing the one-on-one attention, exercise, and companionship they truly deserved. My background has also given me the skill to match each dog’s breed and temperament with the right way to help them safely and effectively get their energy out I’m currently in college pursuing my undergraduate degree with plans to attend veterinary school, so animal health and welfare are something I’m incredibly passionate about. I also volunteer with animal shelters, participate in dog day outings, and love advocating for rescue animals whenever I can. When you book with me, your pet won’t just be another appointment on my schedule, they’ll be treated like one of my own. About: I have been taking care of dogs most of my life. I am 57. I have done dog training and agility with 2 of our dogs. I have had a puppy and dealt with Senior dogs too. I love to give our dog lots of attention with play time, walking and outdoor activities. I love to take walks and go to other parks too. With the owner's permission, I love to go to the dog park-Bow Wow dog park and the Akron Dog Park. I give your furry one lots of attention with play time-throwing toys-playing fetch with a ball or toy. Letting them have backyard time. We have a fenced in back yard for the dogs to be free. I also will brush your dog and pet them and give them attention, while you are away. I will treat your dog like he/she is my own dog. Another place I will take dogs is Petsmart or Pet Supplies Plus for social interaction and exercise. I am at home and available most days. We have a 20 year-old Son, who also loves dogs! My Husband helps out too, with walks and letting the dogs out in our backyard and is a dog person. Currently, I am not working. I have a knee problem and some medical issues that prevent me from working full time. I have plenty of time to take care of your dog. We love to take walks and go to the dog parks. However, if you prefer your dog not to go to the dog park, that is fine. We could go on walks and let your dog go outside in our backyard. We have lots of dog toys, bones, balls, etc... I do have a walk thru pet gate that I set up to block off the kitchen and dining room area. We will feed our dog and your dog separately in separate rooms. I love to brush and pet dogs. If needed, we could bath your dog too. We are a "dog" type family, that is our preference. We have had fish, hamsters and also a guinea pig in the past. I grew up with a cat in our home, as a child. We will throw ball and toys for the dogs and play with your dog. We have a small crate that is in our garage, however we don't usually use the crate. If we leave the home, depending on the situation, if your dog is destructive or chewing on furniture or other items, then we will crate your dog when we leave for church or a short errand. If you have a calm dog and the dog is not destructive and well mannered, then your dog could stay in the family room area, unless you prefer that your dog is in his crate. We will use 2 dog gates near our steps to go upstairs. We prefer that our dog and other dogs do not go upstairs. As a House Sitter, I would do any needed cleaning up of any messes I make. I would be bringing my own food, as I am gluten free and dairy free. The only thing I would need is some freezer and frigerated space for my food. I would follow your normal routine for your dog or dogs. I do have occasional Dr and therapy appointments, fyi. We have a home in Akron, with a fence in our backyard. We live near a forest, it is a quiet area. We have a small neighborhood, where the street dead ends to a forest. We don't get drive thru traffic, that use our area as a "short cut".

About: I've never not had a pet. I've had dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, hamsters, mice, chickens, turtles, ducks, snakes, and hermit crabs. I'll make sure your pet is happy, healthy, and loved. I love all animals. I have a flexible schedule based upon the needs of my furry clients. I am trying to build my business to full-time pet sitting. I can watch your pet once or on a regular basis. I am willing to care for your pet in your home. I currently have a dog that is unpredictable around other animals, and I will not bring pets around her until I can ensure their safety.

About: Hey there! I’m Kristen. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of every kind since I was in elementary school! I have experience taking care of and owning small and large dog breeds, cats, and even farm animals like goats, pigs, turkeys and cows! I also worked at a local public alpaca farm, Majestic Meadows, and provided love, care and husbandry for a variety of exotic and farm animals, including horses, donkeys, alpacas, llamas, and more! I have experience working with animals who have special dietary needs, special medication needs, senior pets, and pets who have physical disabilities and need extra care and aid! I can brush your pet, clean their ears and teeth (if they will let me and it is safe to do so), and give them a simple bath if you would like! Lastly I do have experience in basic behavior training for dogs, including click/reward training to teach sitting, lay down, and release, however I am NOT a professional dog trainer and am not willing to sit for dogs that experience highly aggressive behaviors or biting towards new people. I am currently doing Rover full time, so I will have plenty of time for your pets needs and for playtime, and am able to make sure that bathroom breaks and meal/snack times are not spaced too far apart :) For house sitting I cannot stay full time around the clock as I often have doctors appointments I need to attend, so I may have to come and go, but I would not be gone for longer than 3-4 hours at any given time, so if your fur baby can be alone for 3-4 hours, then I can accommodate for that 😊 I make sure to closely follow any given instructions for pet care, including instructions for a special diet or medications, and if the pet needs any special needs care or aid with grooming! I like to go over the details with clients of how their pet may like to play, how they get along with other animals/people, how they like to be pet, how they do on walks, what their favorite snacks are, and of course any special needs such as oral medications, special dietary needs, etc… to make sure that I am offering the highest quality of care and comfortability for their fur baby! I also make sure to pay close attention to timing between meals, snacks and potty breaks so their pets don’t become uncomfortable or have any accidents. Lastly, I make sure to give lots of love and attention to their pet so they don’t feel lonely!

About: I have a love for both dogs and cats. I have far more experience with cats since I’ve always had a cat growing up and to this day. I know exactly what to do for cats and what they need. For dogs, I’ll just need a checklist / reminder of what you need me to do and I’ll do it! I will play, feed, and take your dog out when needed! Pet care fits into my daily routine as my first priority. As soon as I’m awake I’ll take care of myself then be on my way to attend your animals and their needs. Just let me know their needs and I will do all that I’m told. Seeing animals throughout my day automatically makes it a good day! I care my own cat by making sure she has food/water and playing with her throughout the day everyday. I make sure her litter box is taken care of as well. I plan to do the same for your animals. I love playing with cats and dogs both and I have a soft heart for animals 🩵.

About: I’m very attentive to each dog’s personality and routine. Whether your dog loves walks, playtime, or relaxing on the couch, I adapt to what makes them happiest. I always follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and house rules carefully. I do work a FT job during the week but my schedule is somewhat flexible depending on the situation. Weekends are very flexible - as long as I don’t have a prior commitment. I’m an experienced dog sitter who genuinely loves spending time with animals. I’ve cared for many dogs for friends, family, and repeat clients and recently joined Rover to expand my services. About: Hello! I’ve recently joined Rover and am excited to try something new! I have years of experience in the hospitality industry within restaurants and retirement homes, and have developed excellent customer service ethic. As far as my experiences with animals, I’ve grown up with and helped care for a Boxer mix, Puggle, Doberman, 3 Chihuahuas, a Bichon Frise, and many cats over the years, as well as other pets. I love and get along well with all doggies and genuinely enjoy gaining the trust and affection of cats. Animals are one of the greatest joys in life, and I have no problem making sure that they are properly cared for, because I’d want someone to provide the same care for my pets when I am not able. I have dog-sat overnight many times for a family that I also babysat for, which included making sure Marley (the dog) was let outside about 3 times during the night and provide him with fresh water and food in the mornings. I am a reliable and trustworthy person, and in need of extra income to make ends meet. I’ve realized that I would love to work with animals to ease the stress of everyday life, and would enjoy easing the stress for pet parents by making sure their babies are safe and sound. What better way to spend free time than taking care of cute animals!?

About: I have lived with dogs and cats my whole life and now have my own golden retriever(she is very sweet and well trained). I am home most hours of the days and have all the the time to give your pets their needs and attention! My job I’m working now I am fully in charge of my schedule. I choose when I want to go in the day off. I only work 4 hours 2 or 3 times a week. I have a big house and a big fenced yard. In my family I have two very friendly dogs that are well trained and one cat. I have a gate in front of my room to let my cat be alone and feel safe from the dogs.
