About: I love rescues, seniors, energetic dogs, loafers and grumpy pets. I call all dogs pups, no matter how old they are. With a scared or unsure dog, I don’t try to force a friendship. I’m happy to sit with them, keep them company and let them decide when they’re ready. I worked for several years at a local veterinary practice and about two years in an emergency veterinary hospital, working with dogs, cats and birds. I’ve had dogs and cats throughout my life, including adult rescues. I also have farm-sitting experience with chickens, ducks, geese, quail, rabbits, turtles, pigs, sheep, goats and turkeys, and have spent time around cattle, zebras, donkeys and horses. My schedule is currently very flexible, with plenty of time for the dogs in my care. Most days include outside time, walks, play, meals, hanging out and plenty of time to relax. I’m happy to follow the routine your dog is used to at home. We have a spacious fenced-in backyard and one friendly, active senior dog who enjoys having company. About: I've been around animals my entire life. Growing up, my family had two litters of Old English Sheepdogs. While I wasn't involved in the breeding process, I helped care for all of the puppies until they went to their forever homes, along with our three adult Sheepdogs.
