I went to school to be a vet assistant at Northcoast in Kent. I opened my own pet sitting business shortly after graduating and have been a professional pet sitter since 2008 and can't picture myself doing anything else. During my vet assistant training I had an extended externship at a vet clinic. Pet sitting is my only profession so be rest assured that your pets are my #1 priority. I put passion in my work. I treat every client with the same respect and kindness and every pet as if it were my own. In the past I also worked part time at a kennel for over a year. I take continuing education classes every 2 years for pet first aid and CPR. I have taken care of any size dog from a chihuahua to a mastiff also any age from just born to 18 years old. I am very fit so I can run with the dog or walk at a very leisurely pace. One of the most common praises I get from the owner is their dog is very relaxed when they get home. I hope I can make your dog feel the same way! I have experience giving pets medication from pills, liquids, injections(most common diabetic), and inhalers. I have an A rating on Angie’s list, I have a 5 star rating on wag. My own business is insured and bonded. I have cared for dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, ducks, chickens, parrots, ferrets, gerbils, frogs, iguanas, and turtles.

Every house and visit is different. On walks with me pets must be leashed at all times I do not allow other dogs to meet your dog even if the other person says oh they know each other it just takes one split second for something to happen.

Highly recommend Amber. She took such good care of our cats. She even noticed a package at our front door and placed it on our kitchen counter. She checked the litter boxes, cleaned them every visit. Amber was wonderful! She took great care of Arti and Kiwi while I was away and followed all of my instructions carefully. Amber was the best. She cared for Luna as is if she was her dog. I greatly appreciated her and the time she took with my dog.
Our Shiba Inu is a classic Shiba so we were a little worried about him cooperating with Amber. She has the magic touch and he went for walks with her and went out for potty breaks and took his medicine! We're so grateful for her! She gave us peace of mind while we were away.
